I pre-ordered the Starfinder miniatures when I was in a stronger financial position and sadly things have changed and I'm unable to justify these anymore. Can the following items be removed from my side cart. Thank you for your time and sorry for the inconvenience. Starfinder Miniatures: Iconic Heroes Set 1
Hello, Really not sure how to go about doing this but I'll start from the beginning. The other day I logged on to check what items I would next be getting as of my next order, first thing that struck me was that my Subscription to the Starfinder Society modules had been cancelled, without me asking for it to be. Secondly my subscription to the Starfinder Accessories had skipped the Alien Archive Pawn box. Is there any way to rectify these issues? as I'd rather not miss out on anything. Thank you for your time.
I've seen a lot of threads saying not to do this cause it can't be done and I want to know am I missing something? Cause I've been going through my thought patterns and research and seems it can be. I want to make sure I'm not incorrect. This started as looking for help/interesting ideas to play for my next game, Wolf Shaman has always looked good to me for I have a love of the animal, but I never played cause people rib me for always being related to wolves if I can. Found a few threads saying don't do it, you find yourself without wildshape options, and summoning them isn't worth it as at higher levels you don't have the canine options. So I'm looking at APG P.103 wrote: Totemic Summons (Su): At 5th level, a wolf shaman may cast summon nature’s ally as a standard action when summoning canines, and these summoned creatures gain temporary hit points equal to her druid level. This ability otherwise functions as the bear shaman ability. Seems simple enough to me, go over to Bear Shaman and I start to see that magic. APG P.102 wrote: Totemic Summons (Su): At 5th level, a bear shaman may cast summon nature’s ally as a standard action when summoning bears, and summoned bears gain temporary hit points equal to her druid level. She can apply the young template to any bear to reduce the level of the summoning spell required by one. She can also increase the level of summoning required by one in order to apply either the advanced or the giant template, or increase it by two to apply both the advanced and giant templates. This ability replaces a thousand faces. So at 5th when I get it I can have a Young dire wolf, or a Giant or Advanced wolf. Following that through Dire Wolf is Summon Nature's Ally 4 so at SNA 6 I can have a Giant Advanced Dire Wolf (which shifts it from large to huge) and by SNA 8 you have 1d4+1 of them. This was why I was wondering why can't I wildshape into a huge wolf? I'm familiar with them from summoning them. And its possible to get dire wolves in that size. Bestiary P.295 wrote: As a general rule, creatures whose Hit Dice increase by 50% or more should also increase in size, but GMs should feel free to ignore this rule if warranted by the individual creature or situation. So a Dire Wolf only needs 3 advances in HD to become huge, which I'm pretty sure is going to happen now and again. So they probably do exist, and the rules are there for them to exist. I won't lie, going through this the Dire Wolf only becomes a challenge rating 5 creature sadly, wish I could do more to help it but these are the rules we live with. Back to the point of the thread, so they can exist via the rules, you can summon them and thus should be familiar with them, so when the moment comes shouldn't you be able to wildshape into one? This wasn't a thread to debate which shaman was best but more see if through what I'd read if you could wildshape into a huge wolf, to me it seems its possible but I wanted to know if I'd misunderstood some rules or possibly just missed something entirely. Thank you for any help you can give me.
Hey all, I've got an issue I've kinda had sprung on me by my GM and the group, new player joined the group and 2 are coming back from some personal leave as it were. So the GM has dropped a choice of adventure paths in our laps, but 3 out of 5 have asked for a rough feeling of the adventure paths. I was wondering if you could help, since I need the information for 2 days from now (this was sprung on my about 20 minutes ago) We have been offered the chance to play Curse of the Crimson Throne, Legacy of Fire, Council of Thieves, Serpent's Skull, Jade Regent and Reign of Winter. The GM gave me about a paragraph on each path so I could help with explaining what each AP was roughly, but I don't want to tell a player that e.g. Serpent's Skull from the paragraph I read seemed like Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider in some respects if really it isn't cause then I'll get it in the neck when the path isn't want they thought it was. Normally I would read the Player's Guides but I just don't have the time over the next couple of days, I've got work sadly. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
In the last couple of weeks me and my friends started playing a game and i was scanning the book and I saw the Pathfinder Chronicler prestige class and and fell in love with it and planned out my bard to make all the requirements. And I thought all was well till I looked at the special requirement. Quote:
I thought this would be tricky but doable as my GM can be a pain in the neck when it comes to prestige classes. So I went to look up the Profession skill as I'd need it for the requirements and the scribing of the what ever for 50gp. Quote:
Now I might be reading this wrong but to me it seems to scribe anything worth 50gp I need to work for a week as a scribe and scribe a masterpiece by getting a check of over 100. It seems like a sensible rule on the whole but in this case it seems to be preventing people entering this class. Me and one of my fellow players are talking about maybe if my character did a week here and a week there on scribing our adventures I could keep track of my checks and try to sell something combined but I'm not sure if its meant to be done this way as I couldn't find anything in the book. Any advice or information on this rule anyone could give me would be highly appreciated. Thank you for your time and forgive any spelling mistakes its nearly 2am. |
