Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell shakes his head a bit. "I have quite a fascination for all living creatures. I would treasure a chance to view such a beast, but how I cherish all life leads me to feel that such a risk would be suicidal. I would not wish to lose any of you to this creature. I suggest we move towards corusant in order to best assess where the various factions stand now. It may be wise to stop at a more unaffiliated planet on the way, however, so that we may disguise our ship."

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell considers this talk of dragons for a long moment before looking somewhat concerned to the others. "I think I may have heard some galactic rumors of these beasts before, now that I have had time to reflect after the shock of our arrival. They are immense creatures, the smallest the size of a speeder while the largest could be a capital ship in their own right. I have only heard of research being done on fossils, never a live specimen, but it is thought that they are capable of survival in some of the most inhospitable environments imaginable, even the depths of space."

"Your discovery of this ones force use would be something new to add to the legend, but if it displays hints of having been trained as a jedi or sith would be, then it is obviously intelligent and clearly a being of great power. If it has come all this way to find solitude on this world, then I would suggest we leave it be. It may even be possible that this world was chosen purposefully. Lucen's people do not disturb the dragon, and their psychic abilities mean that other intelligent races are not likely to come here. Outsiders bother the Dragon would be very unlikely."

Male Ithorian Noble 1

No worries, KEJR. I wasn't sure what had happened, but I'd certainly been enjoying the game and I'm here whenever things settle down. I hope that things are going well for you and whatever issues had cropped up are better now.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

I got above a 5 on my roll! Maybe my maximum roll will go up every level.

Knowledge:Life Sciences (1d20+14=20)

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell gives a concerned look from the two sets of Jedi, the one whose rage seems to be flaring and the others who have broadcast themselves so fully. He looks to Klonsa. "Could you give me a description of this dragon? Perhaps it is a beast that has been encountered before? My people know much of the creatures that inhabit many worlds."

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell looks particularly concerned about Aruuna's anger and apparent desire to extract revenge in as large a scale as possible, but he stays quiet, knowing that the darkside is a personal thing to the jedi and so allowing them to resolve this within themselves.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell gives consideration to Troy's words and nods in his agreement. "The loss of life is something that must be stopped in all ways, the way the Sith exterminate entire races is a tragedy. We may be able to aid it here." He looks to Aruuna, putting a hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her and to show he isn't reprimanding with his words. "I would not wish to emulate them with a slaughter of our own, even, or perhaps especially, on a world sacred to me."

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell looks a bit uncomfortably at the two droids at they chitter in binary before turning to the others. "I would lean towards Corusant as well, but we should be very careful on our journey there. It sounds like it is now an occupied world. We should be ready, either to be unwelcome guests or perhaps to arrive either by stealth or disguise."

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell nods his agreement with Christy. "We should learn what has changed before we leap too far into anything. The Sith have cost far too many lives throughout the galaxy and I believe we should fight them wherever we can, but I do not believe that we should lead to even more unnecessary deaths by instituting a strike of our own fueled simply with vengeance in mind."

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Sorry KEJR, I didn't say anything but my character has been updated already if you want to look him over.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

For me I'm going noble again:

Noble 2

HP Gain 5 Now at 24
BaB +1

Feat Gained: Skill Focus(Technology)

We are going to continue to pretend that I have a chance of succeeding in knowledge checks and build on that. I think that my current plan is just to make the bonuses high enough that I can succeed on my rolls of 3 or less.

I'm not putting any of this stuff on the sheet yet, let me know when you are ready for us to actually level.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Aren't we already level 3? I think we have like 1700xp to go.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Being able to further boost my allies skill checks is probably more my style, so I will take that option.

Ceelell looks over the ship and nods his head a bit in approval. "Very good everyone, we have worked well thus far as a team to get ourselves ready. It seems that there is still one question that we should likely have considered earlier though. This planet seems to have a great effect on ships systems and has brought down so many vessels. Now that we know that we can prepare for it. Does anyone have any ideas how we may do that?"

Not sure if that would be a knowledge check or a mechanics check to try and identify.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Sounds good. I'll give the +1 on the check.

Working to help the others by coordinating everyones efforts, Ceelell tries to help everything run as smoothly as possible.

Is it just me or do we have two really flirty jedi?

Male Ithorian Noble 1

How did you want to do the install? Is this the same set of teams from the previous rolls, or are we letting the install team do their thing?

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Oh man, third day almost has a good roll. If I get two aid-anothers then we can have it over 20, might actually find some good stuff.

Int Check (1d20+3=17)

Never one to be kept down by a setback in his work, Ceelell tries to encourage the others as they look to find pieces of the ship that could be useful.

Too bad its not a skill check or I could give those helping me a +1 to try and make sure the aid works. As is the above is just fluff of him yammering.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

I'm assuming that we will try and sleep in some sort of shifts and be mostly on our guard, but I don't have any particular sleeping arrangement that would be better then another.

When weariness finally begins to overtake him, Ceelell will return with the others to rest for the night, hoping to get up early to get started once again. If what the droid said was true about Corusant, the sith must be far reaching now. This is bad for life everywhere. They have lost quite enough time already if they are going to do anything about it.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell looks at the droid a bit warily, his dislike for the sith making it hard to trust it, even with its reprogramming. Still he is a bit uncomfortable with their own dishonesty. "I am afraid, 42, that much as our ties to the sith were exadurated the same may have been done about the condition of our ship. I have much faith in the mechanical abilities of my allies, but our vessel will need many of the parts available."

With that said, he uses the droids direction and sets about trying to rally everyone together in order to make the work go as smoothly as possible. He's quite willing to allow Troy to assume the leadership role as that seems to be what he took to naturally, but when the jedi is performing other duties he attempts to make the team function as a single unit. Something was learned from his studies of biology and nature it seems.

Eh, not the best role, but I was fearing what I normally have been getting on my knowledge checks. Hopefully this isn't too awful. int Check (1d20+3=13)

Male Ithorian Noble 1

I'm ready to move on and don't need to rest, though I have no problem doing so if we have more injured who want some time to recooperate. As far as the checks go, I'm probably pretty good at the thinking work. At least in theory. Of course in theory I'm pretty good at knowledge checks too.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell looks over to HK and leans in a bit closer to speak to him, understanding the droid-speak though his own words are in basic. "Perhaps it is unwise to try and encourage our new ally to wish to revolt against us. We are trying to establish a non-hostile relationship with him so that we can work together to get off this planet."

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Is there any knowledges involved in the planning of what would be best? I don't always expect there to be a knowledge for everything or anything, but I probably will always ask. Otherwise, I will likely begin to talk to 42 now, since he isn't quite so offensive to my sensibilities.

"Perhaps something to consider, AAD-42, if you recall some of your previous life, when the deception was done it may have been something you could even come to admire. However, I suspect that now that we are on even ground and can trust you not to attempt to deceive us, that you will receive the same treatment."

Male Ithorian Noble 1

I will try and make myself useful and assist Groodar in any way he could use assistance.

Basically I'll turn back on my inspire for him to give him that wonderful +1 on his check.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell looks over the explosive and shakes his head. "I'm sorry, I'm afraid its too different. I don't know just what it could be capable of. However I wouldn't underestimate it. Be careful."

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Knowledge Tech (1d20+8=10)

You would think that eventually I would just accept that I am going to roll this way. But every time I have that moment of hope that this is going to be the roll, then every time I have that disapointment too.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Glancing over at Groodar when he mentions the explosives, Ceelell approaches. "Perhaps I can be of help? They may be similar to those used in our time."

Would that be a knowledge check(in which case I will give it a go) or a demolitions check(in which case I am probably a danger to those around me.)?

Male Ithorian Noble 1

No worries KEJR, sounds like your world is rather hectic, but things sound good so there is no cause to complain on this end. We've been posting at a pretty feverish pace, so if things ease up a bit while your world settles down then I think all of us will understand.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Congrats, KEJR. Enjoy your time with your son, I'll be here looking forward to continuing the story when things start to settle down a bit for you again.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

When Lucen gives the explanation of the others of her species, Ceelell nods a bit even as he winces again. "Perhaps you could request they stay farther away while you discern their intent? You said that it is rare for one of your kind to be able to speak to other races, so we will not be able to communicate with them ourselves."

Male Ithorian Noble 1

I did see it, just added the XP to my character.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

"Lucen seems to be unaware of just how strongly her powers effect us. Perhaps they have this problem as well. Still we should be on our guard."

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Wincing when he reaches the outside, Ceelell looks down inside. "On your guard, we have incoming. They look like Lucen so they may be the 'demons' she spoke of. If you jedi can guard your minds, I would do so, they seem to be striking at our minds..."

If he has a chance before we are rolling initiative, Ceelell will hurry over to where Klonsa and Christy are and try and shake them out of it.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell looks to Lucen. "The sith have a very different value system then that which we follow. To them everything falls in a hierarchy of power, and he assumes that if you are with us we must have overpowered you. It is beyond most sith's understanding that you could simply be our ally. Our friend."

He glances to Troy. "There could be some truth to his words however, of the mind effects of her kind. Perhaps this is how Lucen fears to have damaged Christy. I will help Klonsa in checking on her."

With that he works on climbing up and out of the hatch again to check on the others still outside.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

I just wanted to note that while I haven't seen anything where my character would join in, at the moment he's content to let the others deal with the droid, I am still here and following. Didn't want you to think you lost me or anything.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Hey, your eyes are certainly better then Ceelell's, so its not totally sarcastic! More an attempt at distraction from potential explosions.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell glances at Groodar and nods a bit and then looks to HK-22, realizing that his natural agression could cause the situation to light up, possibly literally. "Perhaps you should take lookout above, while we work out the details of our surrender? Your droid eyes are far better than ours, we wouldn't want to be surprised while we work out our deal."

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell turns towards Klonsa as he moves. "If you need assistance, let me know. I am not skilled with the practice of medical arts, but I know some of the theory."

KEJR

Spoiler:
The sad thing is that I am running a pathfinder game and as soon as I had to roll for one of my players it was a natural 20. I just can't roll for myself. But it doesn't look like any of the others can roll very well either at the moment.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Perception (1d20=6)

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Knowledge Tech (1d20+8=13)

I'm pretty sure that the statistics are on my side, that I will have to roll above a 10 at some point.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Looking between the droid and the others, Celell motions for Troy and Groodar to come closer if they can so they can speak with them. "A moment if you would, we would have to discuss the terms of our surrender."

If the two come, he backs up out of the range of the droids likely hearing and whispers to them.

Groodar and Troy

Spoiler:
"I realize that this droid seems to be no threat at all and that surrendering to him could be a direct way to be lead to his leadership, however I believe there could be several angles to this which we should consider before we take any action. Though admittedly, my experience with Sith betrayals in the past may have made me somewhat... paranoid I suppose."

"First, he is almost certainly in communication with the droid brain that is leading this force. As an analysis droid, perhaps his purpose is to appear harmless in this way as a honeypot. This is a deal that is difficult to pass up and that makes it dangerous. His purpose may be to study us as he takes us there and accepts our surrender so that the enemy knows how best to deal with us when we arrive."

"The other option of course would be that he is a diversion of some kind, meant to either slow us down for the enemy to have time to respond, to lead us away rather then towards their leader and perhaps into some unknown danger; such as being out far from shelter when the next discharge storm hits, or maybe only to act when the next attack comes. Tripping us up at the key time or making noise to mask an ambush and give foes that key tactical advantage."

"In any case, surrendering to him may well be in our best interest to make sure we can get where we need to. However, I suggest we do it wisely. If we do have the upper hand on him as we clearly believe, then he should accept most demands on our side, so long as he thinks we are truly surrendering. I suggest that Groodar shuts down his comm system, so that he cannot update others of our progress and even if it is a trap it will not be able to be a coordinated one."

Wow, hows that for paranoid?

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Celell moves to join the others, working his way up onto the ship. He looks down into the open hatch and then glances around at the terrain around them. "There may be more scouting parties out. We may all wish to go in to stay out of sight, though we should be ready for more company coming from within. There is a central computer within that the droids were communicating with, so I suspect that all the droids in the area are going to know we are here."

Considering that, Ceelell moves to the transmitter that had taken a blast earlier which seemed to momentarily confuse the droids and gives it another good shot just to make sure that it is fully disabled, then he drops down into the hatch with the jedi.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

He might get the idea of embedded technology, he never said he was going to use the canon after all, just that he was going to get it. I sort of get the image of a crazy man trying to get someones kidney, just in a droid on droid kind of way.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell advances towards the ship, looking to the others. "Is anyone hurt? Are you all well?"

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Sigh. We just started a D&D game at home this weekend, and I'm playing a knowledgable character in that too, and was rolling 18+ all day for my knowledge checks. Its good to know that when I come back here, some things are still the same.

Knowledge Tactics (1d20+8=9)

Dropping the shield leaf and moving forward, Ceelell calls out to the others. "Hold strong, men. Focus your attacks and they will go down. We already disoriented them!"

Taking a movement forward and using my standard to inspire the crew for the +1 on attacks and skill checks. Works for anyone in my line of sight, so I don't know if I can see the others on the opposite side of the ship.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

I was guessing that there isn't much in there for a noble type, is there? I'm probably going to eventually pick up the book, but it wasn't very high on my priority list right now. If you spot anything that could be of interest, could you let me know so I could snoop further?

Thanks

-Tarlane

Male Ithorian Noble 1

I had just assumed that I don't, but I suppose that seems a fair question as it might be possible to identify the planet. At least if you don't roll like I do. Knowledge Check (1d20+8=12) That would be any knowledge check except for life sciences, which would be 5 higher.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Keeping behind the shield leaf, Ceelell nods a bit towards Groodar. "No worries, friend. I simply realize that we are all not so fluent. I am sure it is a very useful skill when you do not wish others to understand what you say."

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Staying in place as he is just within his blaster's closer range, Ceelell fires around the shield towards the transmitter, though trying to balance the shield leaf while shooting is difficult.

Attack and damage (1d20+1=4, 3d4=8)No penalties I may have are factored in. Definitely overestimating us.

He glances to Groodar, speaking to him in the reporters native tongue.

Rodese

Spoiler:
I do not speak Jawa I am afraid. Does your droid not speak basic? We communicate much better when we understand each other.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

In saying that its an 'easy' shot, I think you might be over-estimating us KEJR.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Don't worry, Groodar, my rolls are back too! Knowledge Tactics (1d20+9=10)

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Since it looks like people are posting their actions for the next round now...

Ceelell takes a moment to fire the borrowed blaster at the droid that is close by, trying to get used to this blasters much lighter feeling in his hand.

Attack and damage (1d20+1=13, 3d4=8)

After the shot he flips up one of the shield leaves, ducking behind it.
