![]() Cool... I actually like monsters as PCs (having played a hound archon and a Gnoll fighter/favoured soul and currently playing a tengu shadow assassin ;)). And this is where I come to the point: PLEASE make a "Tengus of Golarion"-Volume, since they make great and flavourful player characters, but need some fleshing out culturally... they are a more viable player option since they seem to live among humans anyway and might not suffer so much from the "Ahhh a monster.... kill it!"-reaction. ;) (Also there should be something on tieflings and aasimar. I remember the article on tieflings in the CoT-AP. Just make the flaws/boons sytem a point buy system an this would be great.) Of course there lots of other monster races that would make good PCs e.g. lizardmen... ![]()
![]() Hi guys! I was also thinking about repeating crossbows and cbs in general, lately, when I realized that my Shadow Assassin was proficient with them and they work with the "Exotic Weapon Path". That's what I came up with (purely game mechanics not historical: PROBLEM:
So rcbs are the same as cbs BUT need 2 feats to use properly and are more expensive. So far rcbs are only interesting for low level chars with 1 attack per round, hoping that the battle is over when the cartridge is empt"y. MY SOLUTION:
FURTHER THOUGHTS ON RCBS:
My thoughts on this... what do you think? I also agree that the cbs need some love feat-wise. ![]()
![]() English should not be a problem. Most of the players I know in Tübingen study or have studied English (like me ;)) or are otherwise proficient in the language. Most RPG products are in English anyway ;). However, I don't know if there are any actual games being played in English at the moment, although I know that some people occasionally do so.

![]() There are a lot of gamers in Tübingen, since it is a university town. I used to study there and did quite a lot of gaming while living there. At the moment I'm living in Ulm, but I'm usually in Stuttgart during the weekends and I'm running only one campaign (Rise of the Runelords) which is slowly coming to its end and sadly I have not as much time for gaming anymore as I used to. You could try the Fantasy Empire shop in Tübingen and ask the people there.

![]() First I'd like to say that your models are amazing. I built some of them and frequently use them for my D&D/Pathfinder and Mortheim games. Currently I'm considering to buy the Atlantis set, because I think that the walkways would enhance the 3D of my Mortheim games.

![]() Hi there!
![]()
![]() We'd love to test the new rules, but at the moment there are no adventures specifically designed to do so. Of course one could convert any adventure, but honestly I don't have the time to convert an adventure thoroughly and a quick conversion somehow misses the point of a serious rules test. Will Paizo provide/publish test or intro adventures (may be conversions of existing ones)? Personally I think providing such an adventure, maybe specificially designed to introduce/test at least the mayor new rules, should be released together with the beta release to encourage player feedback. Is this an option? What do the others think? Has someone already converted or designed adventures using the new rules? ![]()
![]() What about something like a "quick recovery" feat or ability, that lets e.g. the spellcaster learn/regain/pray for one spell per caster level (or similar) per day at a rate of 1 round per spell level? I just love the idea of the following scenario: The party is desperately trying to hold the attackers off, while the wizards memorizes the spell that could save them all from his spellbook. That doesn't make the adventuring day a lot longer for low-level parties though, but I like the dramaturgy ;). ![]()
![]() Cool!

I'd actually prefer the pdf-variant, since you don't need to scan/copy the stuff, just print it out. also more non-keyed /less revealing versions of maps to show the players would be great, too. |
