Does this clarify things?

Did I miss anyone’s concerns?

Yes, to clarifying. Thank you.

Yes, to missing a concern, which I am waiting for an answer to as it will affect the extended background I type up for Catador.

Spoiler:

@GM: Can we each choose to have been returned to life between just recently and several years before the campaign starts?

If yes, Catador returned to life a decade ago, which will give plenty of time for the traveling clerics of his from 'Absalom' to have traveled throughout the land to bring the Catadorian faith to skavenger communities of the various cities. Plenty of time as well for his father to have added to the number of inquisitors of Catador, who (without Catador's knowledge) take care of skavengers that do things that threaten Catador's goal of everlasting peace between skavengers and the surface dwellers who have been mistaking them for ghouls/monsters.

While Catador can revoke followers of his who use the spells he grants them in ways that go against his goals, his high inquisitor (his father) and other inquisitors deal with non-priest (of Catador) skavengers who do things that endanger Catador's long-term plans of his people being no longer persecuted as 'ghouls and monsters'.

I just saw Catador took Divine Source :) I had an idea to be Ascendant fey power...would we clash if we have two godlings?

No, we would not. Catador's area of concern is about the survival of his people (skavengers), which includes the goal of achieving everlasting peace between skavengers and surface dwellers (many who mistake them as being ghouls/monsters and actively try to eradicate them).

Thanks to him now being a divine source for his people, they have more power to keep members of their society safe from being persecuted by ill-informed non-scavengers who mistake then for ghouls.

Catador can cast one of the two spells from each of the following spell levels once per day as a spell-liked ability:

lv 1: bless or sanctuary

lv 2: shield other (or shield other)

lv 3: prayer or protection from energy

lv 4: imbue with spell ability or spell immunity (spell immunity since he does not prepare spells, which is required for imbue with spell ability, although he does imbue all his spellcasting faithful (clerics and warpriests with Wis scores of 10 or higher) with the ability to cast spells)

lv 5: telepathic bond or spell resistance

lv 6: heroe's feast or antimagic field

lv 7: refuge or repulsion

lv 8: mass cure critical wounds or mind blank

lv 9: miracle or prismatic sphere.

Changes to Catador's three signinificant NPCs, the secret he does not know and some more background info added:

His mother and Lucas are still two of the signifant NPCs.

The surface dweellers who killed him are not significant NPCs to him.

His father is his other significant NPC.

The first miracle he performed for his people was restoring his father to life, then other skavengers of his community that had been been killed by surface dwellers since the day Lucas killed Catador's father over a decade ago.

While Catador's mother, Doralee, became the first cleric of Catador, his father became the first inquisitor of Catador.

The following is not the extended background, but some notes regarding it:

The first high priest of Catador (Catador's mother, Doralee) protects the community of skavengers living underneath the city of 'Absalom'.

The first high inquisitor of Catador (Catador's father, Tacador) initially seacrched for the skavengers (under 'Absalom') that were actively killing surface dwellers (in retaliation for killling skavengers) to put and end to that threat to the survival of an everlasting peace between skavengers and surface dwellers), then started traveling to other cities (with clerics of Catador) and did the same thing in those cities while the clerics gained more clerics of Catador to help protect their city before the traveling clerics moved on to another city with a skavenger community.

The secret that Catador does not know, is his father doing things that goes against 'protecting skavengers' by stopping skavengers who are actively killing surface dwellers in retaliation to some surface dwellers killing scavengers because they think the skavengers are 'ghouls/monsters'.

Regarding sorcerer bloodlines (and other class features that have similar leveling up improvements): Based on what our GM has stated, you would not gain the bloodline powers above 1st level by scaling bloodline up to 20th level. You would only have the 1st level bloodline power to start, which would be scaled to 20th level. When you gain new bloodline powers (at the levels they are normally gained) they will be scaled up to 20th level. You would not gain bonus bloodline feats or bonus spells until you reached the level a sorcerer normally gains those features of a sorcerer's bloodline. You would also have the other things sorcerer bloodline gives you at 1st level (bonus skill, bloodline arcana).

@GM: Please clarify for us:

1) Can you choose sorcerer bloodline as a class feature to take special power to scale to 20th level? If yes, does both the 1st level bloodline power and bloodline arcana get scaled to 20th level? With each new unlocked bloodline power being scaled to 20th level?

2) Do you instead choose one specific bloodline power or bloodline arcana to scale to 20th level?

@Monkeygod: lol. No. His Charisma sucks too much to be a snake oils saleman.

@Elioa: I have extension of backstory in mind...which is linked to bonus mythic path ability Catador gains from it...

I will probably type up backstory continuation tomorrow, for now here are the main points..

The time spent in the afterlife with his father, they discussed that their people have no god that looks out for them...and Catador becomes the first racial Skavenger deity.

bonus mythic path ability: Divine Source

Catador
Neutral
Domains: Community, Protection

The first priest (cleric) of Catador will be his mother, Doralee, who starts spreading the faith below the surface of 'Absalom', and some of the skavengers that live under 'Absalom' become priests (clerics) of Catador travel to other cities to spread the faith to the skavenger communities living under/in the outskirts of those cities.

HeroForge mini of Catador in his 'first life'

HeroForge mini of Catador in his 'second life'

1 person marked this as a favorite.

@Elioa

Is what I have already typed up for TMB enough to qualify for an extra mythic ability/feat?

If not, the bit that would probably be the easiest to expand is his time in the afterlife with his father before he was returned to life.

Part of the abilities he has in his second life are things that will help prevent him from being mistaken for a ghoul like he was in life. He no longer needs to breathe, drink, eat or sleep (so no need to eat animal carcassess like he did in life).

His appearance in his second life will be the same height and relative build, but instead of looking anorexic he looks healthy and well-toned.

I will create a Hero Forge mini for him.

So the large city (similiar to Absablom) that Catador is from is in the fantasay world the campaign takes place in.

I suggest for the fantasy world to have one that is similar to the Inner Sea region area with an 'Absalom' city (on the island of 'Kortos'), but unlike on Golarion, the sections of the mainlands near the isle (and the metropolitation 'Absalom' city) are part of the same country that 'Absalom' (and 'Kortos') are part of (instead of being different countries like they are on Golarion). This would cover you wanting us to all be from the same country but not necessarily the same city/town/village - and it covers temperate areas of the country (the mainland north of the island of 'Kortos'), mostly arabic areas of the country (the mainland east and southeast of the island of 'Kortos) and mostly 'Egypt/Africa' areas of the country (the mainland south of the island of 'Kortos') - that way all the varied character backstories/backgrounds work being from various different climates/cultures that are part of the country our characters were from during their first lifetimes (or were isekaied into after their first life).

Question: Ones who are orignially from the fantasy world, do we have to look different when we did in life when we were given our 'second life'?
