About Jaistelle Alnair-Bokor

Appearance:
With red-gold hair and eyes like the morning sky, Jaistelle's very appearance seems to proclaim her religious affiliation. Accustomed to the finer life, this priestess of Sarenrae is fastidiously well-kept; her breastplate is always polished, and the embroidered skirts of her cassock are nigh-perpetually clean and white. Emblems depicting Sarenrae and the sun are present on most of her clothing and armor, and she is never seen without her beloved holy symbol around her neck.

Loves/Hates/Goals:

Loves: her husband (Khrane Bokor), her children (Kjell and Astri), Felix, Julian Ignatius John “K” Patrick “Black” Ramsey, Silh E. Flaxseed, redeeming people, being admired
Hates: Misogynists, slavers, selfish people, getting dirty, harpies
Will Never Admit To: being a klutz
Goals: Provide guidance and support to fledgling Pathfinders, redeem the wicked, raise her children well, maintain her beauty as best she can

Backstory:
Jaistelle was born to a wealthy merchant family in Almas, Andoran. From early on, Jaistelle was the little princess of her family; her looks comprised the best of her Ulfen mother and her Chelaxian father, and as the only daughter of the family, she was frequently spoiled. She had two brothers: one older, who was tasked with watching out for her, and one younger, whose well-being was her responsibility. Her older brother, while lacking her beauty, was highly intelligent, and still stands to inherit the family business. Her younger brother, on the other hand, shared in her charismatic appearance, but lacked self-preservation skills, and his recklessness led to his untimely demise as a teenager. Traumatized by her little brother’s death and blaming herself for the tragedy, Jaistelle turned from her pampered existence, searching for some sort of meaning. After hearing of Jaistelle’s plight, a Keleshite friend of hers introduced her to the worship of Sarenrae; the connection was nigh-instantaneous, and although she could never truly let go of her sorrow, Jaistelle found peace, forgiveness, and purpose in the service of the goddess.

When she felt ready, Jaistelle decided to leave her family’s home and enter the Pathfinder Society; on her first mission, she encountered a large half-orc being harassed by an unthinking mob; using her persuasive gifts, she dispersed the crowd and invited the half-orc to join her in becoming a Pathfinder agent. He agreed, introducing himself as Khrane, and the two were rarely seen apart from that moment onward.

Over several years, they adventured together, righting wrongs and preserving artifacts for the Society; unexpectedly, however, their relationship grew from one of friendly associates to one of friends, and before long, romantic affection developed between them. By the pinnacle of their adventuring career, Khrane had become an Andoran Eagle Knight-Captain (much to the delight of Jaistelle’s family), the two were married, and they were expecting their first child... which turned out to be twins. Now, both Jaistelle and Khrane are semi-retired; they work as Venture-Captains in Andoran, but they have been focusing more on their family, and with two children to care for, Jaistelle only intends to return to the adventuring life if a major threat presents itself.
