Appearance
Cambden is fairly well-built, yet surprisingly graceful. He frequently is seen wearing a long, battered leather coat, which has been scorched and stained irrepairably. His smile is warm and friendly, although some find his mismatched eyes unsettling.

Background
Cambden Paige's parents were positive their son was a genius. The only child of a skilled herbalist and a renowned hedge wizard, their prodigy could only be destined for greatness. At the age of four he discovered a formula in his mother's laboratory that turned their cat a brilliant green. A few years later he attempted to help a neighboring farmer's poorly-producing chickens with yet another extract. While this did little to increase egg output, Cambden did feel that the sudden dissappearance of all feathers made for chickens that were more comfortable in the summer months. And the town still talks about how his fireworks livened up the last harvest festival with numerous bucket brigades to extinguish small fires, not to mention the decapitation of the statue of the town's founder. In fact, many of the locals have discussed taking up a collection to send Cambden somewhere to continue his alchemical studies. Perhaps one of the great universities in Korvosa. Or Absalam. Or anywhere.
