Background Points:

1&2: Cal is an orphan. His village was attacked by barbarians and he was subsequently raised as a slave. When his tribe was then attacked he thought he was finally free only to realize the grim truth. He was to be sacrificed. When finally freed he vowed his allegiance to the queen with unwavering, sometimes obsessive loyalty.

3&4: Cal has many tattoos all over his body, many of which are slave markings of his former owners. It is also marred with many scars as his attempts at escape did not go without punishment.

5: Upon visiting Castrovel he had discovered his parents were merchants originally sent to discover new ventures on Golarion. They had left him a tiny fortune, which has aided him in his return to civilization.

Goals:

1: Cal would like to learn more of his parents life and why they left Castrovel in the first place.

2: Would like to specifically free the slaves and prisoners Treeraizer has amassed. Specifically looking for Selest.

Secrets:

1: Cal is a kleptomaniac. This comes from being very underfed as a slave and the need to do it for survival. This however is a habit he has yet to break.

2: Cal is unaware of the reason his parents left Castrovel and meets resistance as to the reason at every turn.

People:

1: Selest Ravenwood is a human girl of the tribe that originally enslaved him. She was kind and would sneak him food and trinkets on occasion. There had been a budding secret romance there. She was captured and left unharmed as she was a young virgin, something that apparently could be useful in unholy rituals.

2: Falkir Ravenwood is Selest's twin brother who was as cruel as she was nice. He loved his sister, perhaps too much, to the point that he was jealous of her closeness with Cal. Cal always sensed unnatural urges coming from him towards Selest. He escaped during the raid.

3: Endrel Fest is Cal's uncle who was the executer of his parents estate back in Castrovel . He is a shrewd man not easily parted with his coin and was reluctant to recognize Cal has his nephew.

4: Parcel Mooneye: is one of the personal guard that rescued Cal, and the one to see the potential of being an agent in Her army. It is for this reason Cal has been chosen to investigate the wood. Cal holds Parcel up in very high regard and hopes one day to serve on the queens personal guard beside Parcel.

Memories:

1: Though only a toddler at the time, Cal remembers the graphic details of his parents murder. This event instilled in him a unnatural bloodlust he channels into his rage.

2: Cal keeps Selest's image in his mind at all times, a reminder of their first kiss, and how she was stolen from him that very night.

3: Cal remembers the searing pain of the scarification and branding done to him by his captures and in this has become resistant to the heat.
