About Calanon DaugiennonBackground:
Calanon was born into a small hidden community of elves intent on bringing an end to Eldarrion's reign. However, even as he partook in the long years of training in his youthful years, Calanon wondered whether the cost of this endeavor is worthwhile, when one can instead serve to do his utmost good within this unjust environment. Calanon learned early and quickly such thoughts are best left unspoken. Nonetheless, such ponderings plagued Calanon, and doubt grew stronger as Calanon grew into adulthood.
In time, seeing the fruitlessness of the decades of work, Calanon left the community in less than agreeable terms to make his own mark upon this world. While he failed to demonstrate the ability to channel divine power to assist in the sufferings of the world, he worked diligently in developing his more mundane healing skills, eventually carving out a niche as a competent apothecary in Stoneberg, a city north of the Empire, helping the locals live more comfortably under the dark cloud of the threat of the God-King. Sadly, in time, the threat became real. The God-King's army swept into the city, and a contingent of the elven resistance swept in to meet the force. The resulting fight laid the city in ruins, and Calanon's life, forfeit. The carnage that undid the years of Calanon's work to build a foundation of peaceful living tore through Calanon, and a deep anger welled. The anger drove Calanon to agreements with the hell-fiend that screamed against every fiber of Calanon's living principles...

Hirgon - Calanon disagreed with everything the mentor attempted to instill with in him. Or so Calanon felt. Of course, that was before the siege...
Adlanna - Daughter of one of the prominent leaders of the resistance. Wished Calanon would grow up and see how naïve he is. Constantly trying to change his mind, until... Daeron - ...this elf came along. Warm and dashing, he swept Adlanna off her feet, to Calanon's consternation. To make it worse, this elf dared to understand Calanon's way, and his right to pursue it. Daeron was the last living being he set his eyes on, dying to fight for the city he had come to hold dear Caladwen - Long-lifer and trader at Stoneberg, who welcomed Calanon to the city and understood immediately, and quietly supported, all that Calanon tried to do. As far as Calanon knows, Daeron is now dead, and Adlanna and Caladwen's fates are unknown.
