I got a discution with one of my players (i'm dm) about that -20 in combat modifier when you try to see, or pinpoint an invisible creature near you.

He thinking that 'in combat' mean: after you have roll the initiative, and my vision of that is that it mean that the creature is fighting at that moment.

Can someone have an advice on this one ?

I got a simple question here. Does a magic trap can be detected with a simple detect magic spell ?

I would say no as Detect magic says, item and spell, and here it's a trap...

Your opinion or ruling on that ?

One of my Druid player discussing the fact that he could use Pass without trace to make vanish the trail leave by a cart by touching it. The spell say us that the target should be a creature, and a wood cart is not.

So, am i wrong ? Or can a druid use Pass without trace on a vehicule ?

One of my player created a summoner and wanted to try the Word Magic system. After some playing we came to the conclusion that it was not very realistic to play Word Magic for that class.

The main problem here is that the specific spells created to interract with the Eidolon doesn't exist with Word Magic, that seems a bit strange here to me, but true (even if ultimate magic was post APG).

We noticed too for exemple that a summoner could learn 6 three level spells (lvl 17) but... there is only 3 Effect Word of level 3 for a summoner.

So, did i have miss something here ? Maybe something on the SRD that could help ? Do you have found a solution on your gaming table ?

I really wonder how you deal with the crafting of a wondrous item that could cast cure minor heal at will if we follow the ruling.

I mean ... WTF ! 2000 po for an item that remove all survival between different encounter. I have some hard time to think this it honestly possible to do.

If someone have a ruling about it, or just an answer of how to deal about tout, it would be really great !

I have read many about the target of the entanglement spell, the old thread here too.
I was curious to know if there was an official answer about the fact that the spell trap friends and enemies, so creatures, or just the enemies of the druid of cast the spell ?
