BIO: Gavin was born into a strict army family. As such he found himself moving around constantly. On his recent 18th birthday there was a lot of pressure for him to sign up but Gavin refused. Instead he dropped out of school and hit the road-staying with friends he had accumulated over the years just long enough to avoid wearing out his welcome, but the fact of the matter was that Gavin's only home was the open road, and his shelter most often was the sky and the vast cosmos beyond.
When the LHC was activated, so were Gavin's abilities in quite the violent way. Wondering the lonely roads of the Arizona desert that night he fell to his knees suddenly aware of a great power within him. The sort of great power he got a sense of when he looked out into the infinite darkness of the universe. This energy was unexplainable, as if he was now a conduit for the very stuff that binds together (and rips asunder) the night sky! This first surge of power resulted in a blast that could have killed a dozen or more. He was thankful to be alone in the desert that night. The blast should have killed him but he found himself unscathed, and furthermore unafraid.
