Well, that's good enough for me! Let's go do something heroic! Still want to figure out what can be done before we leave. I know Sekkim was going to boost his headband and was wondering if there might be time for other things. I also need to know which item from the booty he wants. Might even craft another wand.

That changes things! Nix the ring thing then and I'll only transfer these spells into my spellbook for 450gp. 2- bear's endurance 40gp
I thought +1 amulets and rings were both 2000gp. Once Sekkim takes the +2 amulet there will be another +1 to sell also. Unless Sekkim really wants the quill, in which case Buchart will take the amulet. Happy either way really!

Can we find a high level cleric that might tell us why our armor just disappeared? Can we consult the tomes in Magnamar? Is the graveknight bound to the temple as well? If so,... We can always go back to the temple and whip that undead tin can again! Or just warn the clean up team. It would make a fabulous training ground for the Society! An undead foe that resets. Or we can charge admission! Think of the tourist trade. Nah, destroy it!

Should have about 912gp left from before the trip to the temple for an estimate of 7222gp. Buchart will copy the following spells from Norath's spellbook for a total of 550gp: 1- corrosive touch 10gp

I always need something crafted. Sekkim's time is taken up for the most part, though. He might need time to craft for himself. I have a preponderance of wands and the ones I'd like to craft are quite costly. So I might put my gold towards weapons or armor. Nice boots Anaba! They look alot like Rolande's...and mine!

Sekkim and Kyra, I think we should look over the things we've found here. We have one item that is definitely evil, but cursed items don't always make themselves known. spellcraft: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21
Have we learned anything else about the items we've found, given we've cast detect magic, read magic, etc., and have looked over the whole lot pretty thouroughly. Taking 10 if necessary.

Well, we have tokens. I suggest we each hold a few. That way we won't run the risk of the entire batch landing in the wrong hands should we be waylaid by more cultists. I'm going to bed down, but only after I eat something. I have a great interest in the quill, but I understand it to be a powerful item any spellcaster might want. We can always dice for it! Besides, the next best thing (+2 amulet) is nice as well, and the best thing (ioun stone) is evil! The spell book (or a bunch of scrolls written at 12th L) should bring a small fortune too!

Sekkim, Kyra, Cetonius, what can you make of this? We need to figure out what the magic statue means by "mark" I think. I only worry that activating it might transport you somewhere else. What schools of magic are we able to detect? Do detect magic and read magic help us read and understand the runes? Does knowing Thassalonian help at all? Spellcraft: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34

Does someone that is unbranded want to try the brand and kneel as the statue suggests? I think it's the only way into where the tokens are hidden. Where that is...? Cast detect magic and read magic and inspect the statue for something. What? I have no idea! perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24

I'll try this! Buchart will kneel before the statue and show his brand. What do you make of these items Kyra? I can tell when something is magical, but not always if it is evil or not. Besides, I have very limited knowledge of religious matters. I'm looking at the Spell Scars arcana for 9th level. It acts like a scroll w/ up to 18 spell levels but one need not see it to use it. The golden quill might be just the thing for scribing flesh the way they're so into tattoos and runes and such! So Buchart will grab the quill while he is still flying.

Now that Buchart is a bloodrager he is quite aware that he might be the subject of friendly fire, it goes with the territory. I'll make the save just in case. Besides, with all the buffs we have going I'm making the save with a +3 bonus. Reflex: 1d20 + 8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 8 + 2 + 1 = 27
