![]() Bryce cringes, just from hearing the reaction of the two gnomes lets him know something alive yet not is inside the carriage. Taking a deep breath he steadies himself and aims his pistol at the back of the carriage waiting until one of the creatures exits before taking a shot. ![]() Bryce awakens early and spends some time in prayer and reflection before the smell of cooking bacon draws him out of his meditations. He heads to the table, noticing Ragnar has since slipped out and Gnosh is extremely excited to be awake and having breakfast. "A good morning to you Mr. Gnosh, I see you are eager to be on our way this morning? Did you see the big fellow leave?" Concerned, but trusting the council women's judgment, he refrains from chasing off after the giant to see what trouble he could be making for the town. After the warm meal breaks his fast, he strolls over to the bar away from the others and gets Meander's attention. After he tries to pay for his drink, the stay, and the meal, and is politely refused Bryce says, "Well thank you indeed Mr. Meander, your hospitality is incomparable. There is one other thing I wish to ask of you. Just some information you may hold that would help me with a personal matter. There was a farmer around these parts known a Eivan Jorgeson. Do you remember him, and can you tell how to find his landholding?" If he is able to tell me where to find the farmstead, can I compare his directions with Yuln's description of the attack site and see how the locations relate to each other in distance and direction? ![]()

![]() I am really enjoying the start of this game! Just an FYI this weekend I will be going back home for a weekend of RPG's with my old table group. Its a last fling before I move away from the local area in a few weeks, so I probably won't be posting on the boards much if at all from Friday afternoon until Monday morning when I am back on campus. We will probably stay up late swapping manly stories, though I doubt I will get any waffles. :( ![]()

![]() Once Baz is done, Bryce carefully picks up the sword of cold iron and brings it over to Yuln so that both of them can grasp the hilt. "Thank you friend, for your information and your gift. I pledge to bring it back to you along with the Lady Argentea should the fate of Pharasma be so kind. Tell me where do we start?" With a gracious smile, Bryce straps the blade to his pack as he listens to Yuln describe the location just a short ways from the village. When Yuln is done, Bryce thanks him and then stands and approaches the village leader. "Madam councilor, I am at your service and will put all my skill and effort in to recovering the Lady and learn the truth behind the strange events occurring here. I suspect the journey will not be an easy one, so I am going to retire and get some rest before the morrow. I have arranged the the tavern owner to sleep there tonight should you need me for anything." Bryce then prepares to return to the tavern and says to the others, "I suggest we get some rest and prepare for the task we have now agreed to. We can leave at first light." He heads to walk out and stops at the door turning back he says, "Thank you for your willingness to head straight at danger and Evil with out regard for your own selves. May Pharasma bless each of you this night, to this task." With a curt nod, Bryce leaves and heads towards the tavern. Witches! Cold fey agents of Evil, serving Witches! Fate has certainty lead me here at this time for a purpose. Lady of the Graves be my guide. Bryce ponders the events, the adventures, and the goal of his new found quest as he retires by the hearth preparing his heart and mind for the task at hand. ![]()

![]() Bryce listens, not understanding the elvish conversation but notices the large man's face as he seems to come to some kind of revelation, he is either going to pass out or attack from sheer fear. "All right easy now friend, we do not need you swing those arms about." Bryce figures the giant of a man won't be able to understand the words but hopes his soothing tone will keep the giant from doing something dangerous towards the gathering. ![]()
