Brother Dumpling will slide down the outside wall and move with Grent to engage.

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

M Human Monk 6

Brother Dumpling put his staff into his quiver, and it slides in and vanishes like it was never there.

About 20 goblins rather than 1.

M Human Monk 6

Brother Dumpling looks for the goblin while appearing to scan the horizon. 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28

Brother Dumpling follows to the south wall still setting a slow steady pace.

Brother Dumpling seeing Bane straighten in the ready, to Bane:I believe he was talking to the actual soldiers not us pressed men my new friend.

to Grent:I'm almost certain that is the man you were looking for gesturing to the medaled man.

He then takes the final bite of the cheese Wildfen had handed him previously.

M Human Monk 6

Thank you brother. This is a travesty, though I'm not sure into pressing all into the army, but they, looking up into the sky, do things beyond the understanding of mortals

He takes a slow bite of the cheese, he pauses between bites discovering the nuances of the flavors.

A fat man in monastic robes approaches the assembled throng walking quite slowly move speed 15.

Greetings new comrades, what a blessed day we have here. I'm sure the celebratory feast will be one for the ages. I am Brother Ling, though I'm known to my friends as Brother Dumpling. An interesting play on words since I do, in fact, love dumplings. I was in the region sampling the culinary styles of Andoran chefs when this call to arms came about, how unfortunate for them.

He has a heabily loaded back pack and an empty quiver strung on his back. Currently using a quarterstaff as a walking stck.

Dot dot goose.... mmmm goose

Also I will only be checking the boards about 1-2 times a day since I'm in Gatlinburg on my honeymoon this week.

I'm not fat... I'm fluffy

I have the body of a god... Buddha

I have a 6 pack... it's just resting behind the keg.

HP 5d8 + 9 + 5 ⇒ (6, 8, 7, 6, 7) + 9 + 5 = 48

Traits are World Traveller (after he was removed from the monastarty he has been walking the world tasting whatever he can) & Iron Liver (One of his first stops was to sample the cuisenes, and beverages, of choice with the Dwarves. it also explains how Ling has learned the language.)

Human Monk

background:
Brother Ling was raised into the monastic life. Left as a baby to the brothers he was raised with the strictist of discipline, he excelled in the combat arts, and lived his life fasting and praying with the rest of his brethren.

One day a call for help came from the village down the mountain, and Ling was one of the few sent to see what aid was needed. Apparently some bandits had thougt to terrorize the village, so Ling and his brothers went to send them on their way.

The battle was brief, the bandits not prepared for the unarmed wave of destruction that went through them. They rescued the sotlen goods and villagers. Ling was chosen as the brother to stay for the season to ensure this type of activity was not had again.

It was here that he found enlightenment. Not in the perfect pursuit of mind and body, but in the physical sensation of food. He was voracious in his hungers, eating everything he could find, and then learning to prepare dishes on his own. By the time the next season came Ling was... well he was just fat. The townspeople had started calling him Brother Dumpling, and Ling realizing the name was said in fondness never corrected them.

He went back up the mountain, to the plain rice diet that his brothers survived. He hated it. The masters of the order, including the Grandmaster of the Planes, sat Ling down. "The food we have here is just to nourish our bodies plainly to keep us on the path to inner peace and tranquility."

Ling politely responded, "Inner peace and tranquility is what comes after a satisfying meal." They put him thorugh rigorous trainings and discovered Ling was just as skilled as any other monk of his rank, maybe even a little more so.

They were dumbfounded, no one had ever changed their methods as he had. Ling needed his own path, they decided, and sent him off into the world. After his many travels he has ended up here. Looking for his next meal...
