I just remembered we have this thing available.

You can now take an action to double your base speed! (That's pretty nuts.) There's a 50% chance you'll permanently damage the engine, though, and reduce it to 1/2 of its base speed afterward.

If on the 4th turn, we are close enough to finish line to win using it, I'll give it a try to see if we finish this up for Winston.

"Shooting Star sounds like a great name. However, we might want a different spin on the marketing."

Brivarius tentatively raises their hand. "Looking at the Starfinder New Agents Profiles(TM) that was just releases, it appears I may be the most dexterous of our party from those who submitted a profile." I have a +3 for piloting. Winston T Walrus might have more, but has no sheet, so I don't know.

After each attempt to find a thing, they stop by the competition to socialize with the exception of Ratrod who they figure will not appreciate a visit.

(1) "Hello, Nyizin! How are you feeling today? Would you happen to have any tips for a new racer?"

(2) "Hi, Lemgem! You look like you take no prisoners. Any advise for a noob?" Brivarius asks a bit awkwardly as he tries to sound casual.

(3) "Greeting, Velocity! Your colors are fantastic. They remind me of home. I do not suppose you would be willing to share any advise? I have never been at one of these races before."

(4) "Hello, Orsis. You look very stylish. Is that your own personal brand? Would you be willing to share any tips for a new racer?

Brivarius will attempt to help with the diplomacy check by having the their whole colony join in with the humming.

Brivarius gives Feighnswelle a perplexed look as they walk across the ice. Stopping at the vent, they peer inside. "I do not see the creature in the vents. Perhaps it is elsewhere?"

"Well, I am bleached," Brivarius says as they flounder like a fish out of water.

Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (11) - 1 = 10

"I am not sure you can just put cables back. Where is this new alien friend of yours? I would be interested in making their acquaintance." Brivarius asks as they step into the room to look around.

"Hello, children. You are very good at hiding. We wouldn't have seen you if we weren't so perceptive. We should probably get you to an inhabited part of the ship. But what are you doing here? You wouldn't happen to know what caused the power outage would you?"

Diplomacy is needed: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Brivarius cocks their head. "Is that... usual for the Pact Worlds? I am not sure if I have ever seen someone so... animated."

"I do not know anything about electricity, but I have my solar flare. If we are attacked, hopefully it is not as scary as the feather stalker." Brivarius will start heading off in what they think is the direction of the E-Deck with their mote hover between their horns.

When they arrive at a dark section of the ship, they will activate their solar flare causing them to glow. Brivarius will be shredding dim light in a 20-foot radius.

Brivarius waits patiently for someone with more of a clue than them to figure out this power thing.

Brivarious will move closer with the rest of the party and hover protectively near Ceren.

Brivarius enjoys the scent of their tea while thinking for a minute. "I have made many connections since leaving Tabrid Minor as a political commentator. Ms. Grandma Ceren, would you be interested in a position editing video or producing special effects?

Brivarius looks taken aback. "Kill... you... That is most horrible. Could we assist you in receiving an appointment with a doctor instead? Would you like to visit with a psychiatrist?"

Brivarius chimes in, "we definitely have more interesting positions than a call center would be."

Diplomacy to aid: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 Bluff is a +3, so would also aid.

"We are better at being diplomatic, but we are interested in seeing Pact World approaches. I will do my best to aid your bluff." Brivarius states.

Brivarius gestures to themselves, "Hacking is outside of our skill set, but we will do our best to help. Please share any details you have about the hacker."

Reflex: 1d20 + 3 - 1 ⇒ (18) + 3 - 1 = 20

After the first person cuts themselves on Brivarius sharp, pointy body, people seem to steer clear.

"Shall we head back to Zigvigiz? Since it sounds like he wants us to give album to Historia-7 in person, perhaps we should talk to her about what she wants us to do." Brivarius says through a yawn.

"Osho, I can... what is the word? Hmm... Ah, bankroll? I believe that is what the person outside called it. I can bankroll the album for you if you desire one." Brivarius offers.

GM approval required. It would come off your chronicle sheet credits in the end as PC can't buy gifts for others, but you'd be able to get it.

Brivarius leans against the wall. "I did not think that queuing could be so strenuous. The feather stalker was less exhausting." Brivarius murmurs half-sleep on their feet.

Brivarius will buy a copy for himself. "Can this be placed inside the TuneBot 2000 that is advertised outside?" they ask the clerk.

"The creature does not seem to be feather light despite it's appearance." Brivarius muses as they stare into the pit where it fell."But yes. Let us get this Strawberry Machine Cake album for Historia-7."

With trepidation, Brivarius moves to get a better shot, hoping they can end it before they make themselves a target.

They move a bit closer to feather stalker and fire a tiny harpoon.

Brivarius starts to glow with solar energy as they enter photon mode.

They aim their shell at the feather stalker and fire two little harpoons.

Brivarius will careful edge up near Feighnswelle and observe the pile of rubble.

Brivarius moves toward a wooden crate and ducks behind it, looking around for this feather stalker.

Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0

Nervous about their first real combat, they ducked too low and just see a crate.

Brivarius turns on their comm unit's tiny flashlight (15-foot cone) and forms their solar mote into what looks like a glowing cone-shaped sea shell with a coral grip. (20-radius of dim blue light).

Feeling ready, they sniff the air trying to scent the creature.

Paizo is in the process of slowing updating their website (for quite a while now) and the old code and new code doesn't always play nicely. The PMs should work, but sometimes the site gets grumpy and errors. It should decide to work for you eventually. Our GM's discord ID is Terminalmancer#2987 if you'd rather DM him using Discord.

Brivarius uses the swab. Then, with trepidation, they stick their hand on the panel. They hiss a bit as the implant goes in.

I'm fine either way. I'm generally happy to encourage others' gaming habits.

A strange colorful coral-like humanoid with long twisting horns approaches the rest of the party with their arms held out, palms forward and slowly spin in a circle. Without waiting for a response, they say "Hello! I'm Brivarius! You may have seen me on several recent vidshows as a political commentator focusing on the environmental and social issues of Tabrid Minor."

They walk over to take a look at Dr. Apati's contract. "My lawyers will probably be upset if I sign yet another contract they didn't get to review. But sure, why not." they say as they quickly review the contract and sign. "Sounds legit."

Apologies for the strange icon. I could find nothing remotely close to a copaxi, so since Brivarius is a solarian, I picked a Solarian Crystal. Hopefully, some day Paizo will add Copaxi icons to the options. Until then, you can see a picture of one in the blog if you are unfamiliar and curious. (And also in Near Space on page 107.)
