Moving right along.
You arrive at the town's court house.
There, Hemlock takes a seat at the front of the atriums style seating with the town's mayor.
The Mayor, a mid-forties woman with a warm, but commanding smile, nods to the two heroes and welcomes them over.
An elven woman, loaded to the teeth with traveler's equipment, quivers with different colored arrows, a finely maintain bow... She stands stoically waiting for Endra and Qhisz to take their seats. Once seated she nods and begins with a general debriefing.
I'll make this simple by simply listing key points
Adressing her self as a Goblin hunting expert, Shelelu goes on to explain the following...
1) The several goblin tribes lead, each, by a hero
2) THey have recently stopped infighting.
3) Something is unifying their behavior
4) She was abel to track their movements to a place called Thistle top. a ruined watch tower.

Exposition
Night falls on the town, street lamps burn to light.
As the Rusty Dragon comes into view, Hemlock intercepts you.
"Our local monster hunter came in while you two were out. She's holding her meeting with the mayor and myself in half hour. Can you two make it?"

Zantus handed the robe to Endra.
Qhisz identified the robe as a "robe of Bones" however, it was already used up.
It was likely the skeletons came from this.

Endra, who was fixated on finding Goblin tracks, was unable to differentiate them from the scuffs and other naturally occurring terrain degeneration.
Qhisz, to his own surprise, not only saw goblin tracks, but the tracks of a medium sized humanoid. Boots.
A set of goblin tracks seemed to line either side of the tracks as well. They led to the north wall, then vanished.
Closer inspection revealed dirty scuff marks, as if they climbed by rope up and over the wall.
Hemlock and Zantus considered the meaning. The sheriff spoke to the PCs diretly in a stoic, though intense tone.
"Do not tell anyone." He said, looking back to the square. "They've paniced enough." He admitted with a softer tone.
Zantus nodded in a agreement. "The Remains of the Father Ezakien are not often visited, we can ensure it stays that way...at least until we can figure out why they were taken in the firs-" Zantus paused, something catching his eye.
The priest walked into the vault, returning a moment laterholding a worn, blue robe.
"This is not among the keepers of priest." He said, a little hostility building in his tone.

Both hemlock and Zantus look to each other then offer a shrug.
Hemlock adds: "Admitably he was a bit of a harsher man... Even his daughter was seldom 'allowed' to be outside their home to church. Though... He was respected. He wasn't tyrannical, just over protective with a higher expectation for the followers of the faiths."
Helmock sighs heavily, "I once thought him to be a villain a few years back. But I was mislead at the time." He offers a stoic explanation.

Hemlock nods.
"Around here, there are several tribes of goblin all around...hunters from all over tend to stem their growth." He Ponders.
Father Zantus chimes in. "Their tribal, violent ways are pretty universal... This is too organized. And to steal a body while using a raid as a distraction seems vastly beyond their mental abilities."

Zantus went wide eyed. "What!?"
The Sheriff looked in as well.
"They took his body?" He said, a terrible confusion lifting in his voice.
"Goblins? Raid a town?" He insisted allowed.
Zantus grew silent."What if the raid was...only a distraction." He offered. "What if there is more to this than we see?"
Zantus looks to Endra and Qhisz. His eyes seemed widened, as if fear had struck him deeply. It was obvious he was uncomfortable with the idea.

The inside of the stone worked sarcophagus is empty. The remains of the priest are not there.
No secret doors are revealed by the spell.

The vault's skeleton surprise fade to dust leaving behind remnants of dust and rust.
The darkend vault is lined with urns and sarcophagi. One such sarcophagus is slanted open...the previous high priest of sand point.

Scouring the outside of the vault you find no traps.

"THe Former priest was quite strong." he says with a worried glance. "But they were blessed in a funeral ceremony"

Hemlock nods, a small turn at the cornor of his mouth leads you to believe an approving smile was had, though you cannot be sure.
"Goblins are not normally an issue...we have an elf that comes and goes years at a time to cull the population, she should be back in town shortly." He pauses in thought before looking to the kobold.
"The sage does enjoy talking about the ruins here. Best start with him...But first..." He trails off as father Zantus comes into view.
Father Zantus stands ready at the gate of the bone yard, the cemetary att he back of the cathedral.
He nods to the three of you. "Hemlock, its bad." He whispers.
"I made the mistake of using detect magic on the crypt vault... Necromancy was afoot."
Hemlock looks beyond that gate to the vault.
the priest motions at the gate as he unlocks it, letting the three in.
"I didn't get near as I'm drained from the day's wound tendings... But it is necromancy. Within the Vault of our vary own priests..."
Hemlocks nods, making his way toward the vault.
A large structure that contains about 20ft of space holds the remains of religious icons over the years, including the remains of the last high priest and his daughter.
Its caste in gray stone work and its large stone doors, cracked slightly open.

The sheriff nods to both of you.
"Heroes" he says stoically before motioning you both to join him outside.
Once along the road, he speaks quietly but continues walking in the direction of the cathedral.
"Shortly after the raid, Father Zantus contacted me about some disturbing sightings... The most recent of which was, what I can only describe as a half-assed goblin attempt at looting the grave yard." He offers a solomn shrug.
He explains that Father Zantus had been a little late checking the boneyard as he was tending the wounds of several towns folk over the last few days.
"At anyrate, what are you two's plans? Do you plan to stay here in town or near by?" He asks, looking Qhisz and Endra over with nothing more than glance.

The Halfling nods, pointing the woman to the local 'house of ill repute'.
"If I'm aware of what your asking...Follow the road east, you'll come to the local brothel. Surely you be entertained there."

Later that evening, Endra and QHisz receive a knock at their doors.
Aimeiko has kept her self locked in her room all day, the Halfling tendress keeping tabs on her and delivering meals.
She, the Halfling, informs endra and Qhisz that Hemlock is down stairs and waiting for them. He seems...anxious.

Qhisz stealth after Longinku with surprising grace and stealth.
However, just outside, waited a small traveling carriage with some luggage strapped to the top. It's powered by one muscular horse and driven by a lithe fellow dressed in all weather cloths.
Longinku gets up into the wagon, bitterness still in his eyes.
Aimeiko looked to endra and wiped the tears off her eyes. He smiled warmly and gave the dark lady a nod. "My father." she chuckled before looking to her Halfling lead waitress.
"I think I'll be in my room for the day, watching things for me?" She asked, the Halfling nodded, a look of sympathy awash upon her face.
The lady of the tavern gave a nod to Endra and made her way upstairs to her room.

Lonjinku eye's widen briefly to see the blade aimed in his direction. Despite the blade at his throat, he glances to Aimeiko.
"Your 'heroes' indeed." He sneers. He doesn't seem to have even noticed the kobold.
Aimeiko waves her hand to Endra to lower her weapon.
"I'm not going. Get out." She says, a tear streaming from her eye.
Longinku stares at the woman for a moment longer before turning to walk out.
the small group of people in the tavern at the time remain silent, even the staff seem paralyzed by their mistress being in tears.

The noble's rage grows, however just as he's about to lash out, Qhisz's appearance catches him off guard.
His eyes dart between the two heroes only to catch sight of Amieko. His tone softens to that of arrogance and condescendence. Or at least, it sounds that way, as he slips into his native tongue, speaking to woman.
She and he go back and forth before she notices Endra's scowl. In her hand a ladle, still dripping with what one could image was soup.
"And what are you doing to my guests?" He asks aloud.
"Your foolish patron's are of no consequence. Gather your things, we are leaving...immediately." The noble replies, lifting his nose to Endra and entirely ignoring Qhisz.
"I've told you, I'm not leaving my Tavern." He lifted her ladle, pressing into the noble's robes firmly.
The man's gaze harshens. He speaks only a couple of words in their language, in a damning tone, Amieko's face goes pale as her eyes water.
"Now...get your things." he seethes.

The red-headed beauty redresses herself with a pleased smile as she looks to the kobold.
"As I expected of someone praised as a hero." He chuckled before fixing her hair.
She then left, saying good by as she left through the door.
Mean while, Endra's rejection is met with some sour feelings.
Aldern's face pales a bit. "o-oh, of course. He follows after Endra where they eventually arrive at the rusty dragon.
A flushed, young red-head walks by them.
[b]"Oh, Lady Endra." She says, giving a wink before moving on.
Aldern buys Endra a drink in thanks then awkwardly stands around. "Well... Thank you for saving my life. And I hope you enjoy the drink?" He gives a humble bow before taking his leave.
For dealing with the encounters in part, you each receive 300 XP. You should DING at this point.

Shortly after Aldern leaves, a Tian man Tian being the Asian variety of human walks in wearing regional nobility cloths. He possess an air of arrogance but it seems mired by a the look of sleeplessness on his face. The way he B-Line's it to the bar counter suggests his tense/Anxious. He is middle aged though fit. He begins shouting in a language neither of you know. The tone suggest is terribly inquisitive.
His eyes rest on Endra briefly before looking for the kobold. "You foolish hero types! he says venomously.
"And where is the fool with the bombs!? You both should be ashmed! Your damn antics putting people at risk!

A handsom man stands at the door, bow in one hand and a quiver of arrows in the other.
He smiles brightly upon answer the door.
Behind Endra, the laugh of an elder dims as Brodert shuts his door, leaving the two outside.
"Miss Endra!" the man says.
"I'd like to offer the chance to personally thank you! would you go join me in a private hunting trip?"

The Red-head smiles, giving a light giggle before looking about. She slides into the kobold's room, shutting the door behind her.
She eyes the alchemical tubes, vials and beakers (As you had mentioned you set up your lab here) and smirks, looking back to Qhisz.
"Your quite smart for all o this stuff, It would seem." She smiles at Qhisz before sitting on the bed, her dress seemingly placed with just enough provocative placement to be both suggestive and socially apt.
"Come sit with me, Mr. Leadfire." she offers a wink.

Brodert's Home
The bombardment of questions humors the sage who holds up a hand, laughing lightly. "I see your inquisition, but I wonder if your asking the right questions... Let me put one mention into your search...Hemlock is one of the greatest men I've met. He's just suffered terrible loss."
He sighs, thinking on Endra's questions.
"Anyway, he was the deputy before he became sheriff...as I mentioned." He smirks lightly before continuing.
"The 'Skin Saw' cult. Yes...it was destroyed. Self imploded, in fact."
He raises a brow to the priest question.
"Father Zantus, the priest you saw at the ceremony, is the new cathedral high priest here." He pauses. "You didn't realize he was a priest?"
Realizing that such a discussion seems a bit...hostile, the sage holds up a hand to halt the continuation of the 'interview'. "My dear hero... Take mind that while most here welcome adventurers...I find them pushy, and often bullying." He waves off his hand, "I'm not referring to you, but don't make me start."
A silence fell over the old man before he chuckled to himself.
He was about to speak before a rather obnoxious rattle at the door caused him to snap his attention toward entry.
A muffled voice shouted from the other side. "Pardon me sage, but I believe the heroine Endra is with you, I'd much like to speak with her."
The sage looked to Endra and motioned toward the door. "Best go see what a fan wants, my dear." He laughed.

Qhisz's Room[/biiger]
A young human woman stands before the kobold. Fair skinned and red haired, she is akin to that of half-elves in raw beauty and possessed of vigor that would sway, one could imagine, any suitor.
She finds herself wearing a confused look only to shake it off.
"You're the...man... who was with Endra that helped save the town?"
[bigger]At Brodert's House
The elderly sage nods before glancing behind Endra to a stack of books behind her. His eye motion suggested something caught his attention unexpectedly.
"Yes. I understand...though the reason the town titles the events together as "The Unfortunate" is with reason. A serial killer...a cult...The death of not only a high priest but his lovely, Aasimier daughter... The town lost good people and symbolic personas very brutally and in quick succession." His face becomes saddened as he takes a sigh.
"The Sheriff isn't the sheriff by choice...Hemlock received the title per the local custom of a deputy taking up the badge after the death of a sheriff.

At Brodert's Home
Endra arrives at the North Eastern boarder of the town near the rubble of large ruin next to which Broder's home is placed.
With a couple knocks on the door, it swings open. The old sage adjusting his glasses and looking Endra over with a welcoming smile.
"Ah, the town hero returns." he chuckles.
"I imagine you are here for the history lesson." He muses while stepping aside allowing the darkling in.
Inside his home, books line the walls in uneven, and unstable, stacks. The walls have seemingly been removed and replaced by support beams. A small cot lined with blankets seems to act as Brodert's bed while a single, wooden desk, with a singular book with an odd symbol on its cover rested.
The lighting is very dim, as the windows are all covered with darkening cloths.
"I know my home seems messy...but each book I know its location and its place. each stack is formulated as I need them...the work of a sage of often left to the eccentric." He lets out a careless chuckle before disappearing behind a tower of books to retrieve an old chair.
"This will have to do, my dear." He offers the chair and then takes a seat at the chair near the desk.
"So...Hemlock is it? Your curious about or dower sheriff? He asks.

Qhisz gets a visitor!
A soft knock at Qhisz's room door.
The soft voice of a youthful woman not one he's heard yet from the celebrations before. "Hero? Are you in?"

Disappearing into his room for the remainder of the day, Qhisz begins brewing potions and designing a weapon...
Endra Finds that is no blacksmith in town. However, there is a type of general shop that does provide weaponry. Sandpoint Boutique (#41 on Sandpoint Map).
Being an exotic weapon with a design only seen commonly to the east beyond the ocean...The Odds of a Katana being available (75% and up): 1d100 ⇒ 31
The woman that runs the place looks Endra over, after listening to her description of the weapon simply shows her the bladed weapon she possess, none of which are a Katana...
Hayliss, the woman who owns the place, does offer to send a missive to get one made however... But she would ask that such a weapon be worth her writing.
"I'd rather not have some steel blade made for the hell of it... However, if you have the coin to have a weapon of master quality made, I'd be willing to send out the request."
She ha a smirk on her face as if she knows its something most people cannot afford. The price she's asking would be 325gp(That's including your Hero discount)

The day in the tavern is met with rowdy banter and eager folk wanting to shake hands with the heroes.
It settles only slightly as Hemlock enters the door, taking a seat with the Sandpoint celebrity.
"Heroes..." He says with a base, cold tone. "It has bene four years since we've had heroes."
He looks to Qhisz with a cold stare, though a small gleam can be some what told from the very pits of the stoic man. "They rise from the most unexpected places it seems." He turns to look to Endra, "Or the darkest." He gets up, placing offering a wave.
"To the Heroes of Sandpoint." He tosses the owner a pouch which she catches with ease.
AS Hemlock leaves she nods, looking into the pouch with a smirk.
"Huh. Better make that two weeks then, Hemlock paid your board as well." He laughed.
The crowd burst into a mumble full of laughter before returning to their joyous banter.

"Now that you are both here, I'd like to personally extend my thanks for what you two did. No many would-be adventures could have done what you did...and even fewer would have!" She reaches out a hand to shake Endra's hand and Qhisz's claw.
"As a token of my gratitude and those here in the tavern, I offer you free room and board for a week!" He spins around, looking to the growing number of patrons, all who raise a glass to the Hero's Honor.
Aimeiko raises her own mug. "To the Heroes of Sandpoint!"
"THE HEROES THE SANDPOINT!" The crowd replies.

Quince nods before making his way out to town. "Yes sir."
Endra and Aimeiko are sitting nearly at a center table within the tavern. A small breakfast feast is laid on the table. Eggs, fruits, sugared meats and glazed breads.
As Endra waited for the second party to arrive, Amieko kept her self silent though it was easy to tell she was excited.
Whispers from early morning tavern goers also circulated. But were often cut short by a glare from Aimeiko.
Once Qhisz Entered, The hostess took to her feet and waved the kobold down."Oi! Blue one! Over here!" She shouted.
Unlike the White Deer, the small whispering or mumbling didn't stop. as a matter of fact, it intensified as the kobold made his way to the table.
Once again Amieko shot glares, and it died down.
"Welcome! Qhisz Endra!" She began.

Through the night, the wounded are taken were they are best helped, at the church while most of the citizenry has retreated to their homes. Guards chase off the rest of the goblin raid through the night until not even the fires remain.
No one has the slightest interest to continue the ceremony. And the rest of the night is met with a heavy sigh of fear and remorse. There were no casualties at all.

You've each healed 1Hp for sleeping through the night.
At the White Deer, a letter is slipped beneath the door of the sleepy Kobold that is Qhisz. The letter contains a note reading the following:
At the Rusty Dragon, a pounding on the room door followed by the shouting of a jovial woman to wake Endra. "Hey! Endra! Get up! She shouts... The pounding eventually stops with the sound of a key being applied to a lock. The door, seemingly in an instant, is open. The owner standing in the archway, hands to her hips. "Their just flesh wounds! Come on! Food awaits!"

Another splash of acid seeps into the gobdog causing it to screech like that of a large rodent., muscle and sinew can be seen through the melted flesh, half melted and fused.
Yellow is impaled and dies with little more than a surprised grin on its face.
With no goblin support, its master dead and its body wrecked, the gob-dog turn tail and withdraws into the forest...

As the bodies are looted, the Human how called for help pops up from the brush, gauging the safety of the immediate area. He looks to the town as he slides down the slope and immediately moves to Kendra.
He is wearing blue and white cloths, with buckled shoes and high socks.
He adjusts his coat and reaches out his hands in thanks, grasping at Endra's weapon hand.
"You are the amazing! Both beautiful and deadly." His eyes glisten with relief and awe.
He briefly looks over to the kobold.
"I'm staying at the Rusty Dragon, you are...both... more than welcome to join me there. I can thank you properly." He pauses, looking to Endra. "Of course, if you come alone, the Thanking could be far more intimate." He gives a wink then nervously looks around, as if half-expecting to be ambushed. "Err... I'll see you there!" He darts off, headed back into town.
The battle in the townscape seems to have died down. Shouting remains but its logistic shouts to combat the fires.

Acid splash all over the commander, He screams and fall off his mount with a mushy collopse of his face.
The mount he rode burns but hasn't gone down.
Yellow Gob reacts by attempting to get away from the acid splatter...

Endra knocks the blade aside, causing the gob to twirl back to the ground.
The Gobdog rushes after Qhisz, bound over the horse with ease...

However, Qhisz shifts in time, avoiding the rancid bite.

Got the map set up and ready. Imma move us foreword.
Endra's horse tenaciously fights to move toward the cries for help. With little denying the horses character, Kendra's honor being at stake and the knowledge of goblin slaughter now firmly in all three of their veins... You are taken to the Northern gate swiftly.
On your way, guards lay beaten, half eaten and burnt. However, for every guard, 3 or more goblins are hacked to bits, exploded, burned or some...drown in water collection barrels.
Arriving just past the gate, the horse stops before the corpses of two other horses...and a young pup of a dog.
There, just ahead and to the left, a human man in blue and white cloths waves silently but frantically. 4 goblins populate the road. Two, now horror stricken at seeing another horse arrive, this one with Honor riding upon its back!
The one behind them, boasting a purple hue, is significantly less terrified. He too is mounted...on some kind of large, dog/rat. Its hairless body riddled with the mange and scabs. At his side, another goblin, nearly clinging to the mount's leg.
"Eww, Another horse." the purple skinned commander hisses with hate."Kill it!" He commands the ahead of him, aiming his weapon, a goblin lance.

Yellow gob stalls, he's absolutely terrified of the living horse before him.
The Gob Commander sheaths drops his lance, retrieving a bow and letting it loose upon Endra's horse!

Coming up from the south, a familiar face waves you down. Its father Zantus. He's accompanied by several women and children. His cloths are stained with blood and show signs of being slashed, as do many of his group's closed, yet almost no wounds are present.
Looking to the Scavenging Kobold and the heavily wounded Endra, Zantus approaches, holding a hand to keep his group back.
"Friends! I see your fighting, thank Desna." He eyes Endra's wounds. "I know you hurt, but may I ask you to keep fighting...I've drawn on nearly all my powers to keep my small flock here alive... I offer the last of my healing abilities if you-" He finds himself cut short as another group of goblins appear just south of your position, bumbling over a card of meats. Without another word, Zantus motions his group toward the Church. Their movement doesn't seem to distract the goblins from their chittering chatter over meats, something Zantus is thankful for by the look in his eyes as he looks back to Endra.
"Please, I beg of you. Fight on." Placing a hand to Endra's hip, Zantus floods the last his healing powers into her wounds.

The light from the healing catches the goblins attentions. Three of them. One of them wearing more armor and holding a whip in hand. It begins singing in a cackling croak seemingly inspiring his troop with combat prowess... Zantus rushes to catch up with his flock, unlocking and opening the church door, shutting it behind them. "I pray you succeed!" He shouts as the door latches.
