I wanted to pop in for a moment and apologize for being eaten by the world. I wish I would have been able to give you some warning. And I also wish I woulda gotten of my arse sooner and popped in.

I have a major business trip coming up in early Feb. AFfter I get back from that I will decide if I have the time and gumption to resurrect the game.

I hope we can keep going, man!

Brick looks at Ruuz with a vacantly bemused expression on his face. Well, a more vacantly bemused expression, anyway. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together can tell that Sari's little dig went several miles over Brick's head.

"Where did everybody go?"

"So... When are we going to make Sword into not-a-sword?"

"Well, let's divide this gold up with an extra share ... if one of the others come back, they can have what's left of that share. Otherwise, we can use it as a fund for turning swords into people and such."

"Wait... Sword was a PERSON? That's BAD!"

Brick starts looking around frantically for Ruuz.

Waking the next morning, you find a hastily scrawled note from Beren. He has left in the night to pursue the trail of the murderer that brought him here.

Sorry I am so late on this... we had an outbreak of bronchitis in the house... 2 sick kids and 2 sick parents = ZERO time for gaming

Let's see... Identify would work. Brick could unconsciously prepare the spell and absorb the knowledge. What does he see?

I was just thinking how easy this was getting...

The range is about 20 feet and the dragon is moving none too quickly, so instead of rolling to hit, it attempted, and failed a reflex save.

Since it was at 0 hp, it dies on impact.

Leaving Brick some 40' above the ground.

Damage will be 17, but you can cling to the dragon with a reflex save DC 18 for half.

Rolled an 18 base. If that isn't luck, I don't know what is. And, true to form, I don't have Brick's HP written down. I'm guessing it's negative.

Brick dives off of the pillar, sword arm outstretched, aiming for the dragon.

What kind of rolls do I need?

I seem to have lost my character sheet. Does anyone happen to know how many hit points Brick has left? I have the sneaking suspicion that the total has dropped below zero.

Just to be official, you had a readied action, which was triggered when the dragon came in range, then you had your standard action. Theoretically you should have eeen bumped to just ahead of the dragon, but sometimes that doesn't make sense to me.

Brick crouches in a fighting stance, sword pointing straight up. He braces himself for the dragon's attack, ready to strike back. The warforged glances at the sword writhing in his grasp.

Brick attempts to use the still-wailing sword to slash at the time dragon.

Nothing appears to have happened. However, halfway through drawing his sword, Brick lets out an excited yell.

"I'M FOUR!"

Brick suddenly realizes that, because his club has bounced off of the dragon's head and fallen eighty feet to the floor below, the warforged is unarmed. Oops.

Unfortunately, he has an idea.

Standing stock-still, Brick glances furtively at the sword bound tightly to his left arm.

Then at the sword.

Then, back to the dragon.

He goes for it.

Brick draws the living sword from its sheath. It would seem almost comical, if not for the pure malevolence oozing from it.

Waiting on Dragonmann's reaction before attacking. There might be consequences.

Panicking slightly, Brick does the first thing that comes to mind.

With a mighty heave, he chucks his club at the dragon.

Attack: 15 - 4 + 4 = 15; damage: 1d10 + 2 = 10

...

Yo, Dragonmann, how much damage do you think a thrown greatclub would deal out? Any penalties?

OK then, who is wounded? Mr.-Healing-Potion-With-Legs needs to do his job.
