So I had a new player who is new to roleplaying make up a hlaf orc barbarian from Belkzen. At first he was kind of looked down on by the people of Sandpoint, and he stayed in a stable with a horse at the Rusty Dragon. After saving the town from the goblin raid, he was seen now as a hero. He went to the fatman's Feedbag hearing that it was a rough tavern. The Varisians in the bar snickered at him for being an orc, and he proceeded to spit in his beer and dump it over someones head. A fight ensued and they subdued him and threw him out of the bar. Little did he know he was messing with the local Scarni.

He waited for the guy to leave, and when hi target and 3 other Varisians walked out he threw a rock and hit the guy in the head knocking him out. He then ran to the sherriff for safety but the didn't follow.

The went on the boar hunt and Alderrin bought the orc the horse he was staying with who he then named Buttercup. Later a Scarni rogue approached another othe players who was also a Scarni rogue out of Magnimar and asked him to keep hi orc friend under control.

When the orc went out to the stables again, he found his horse dead, and in a rage went to burn down the fatmans feedbag. He was killed in the ensuing fight, but heused a hero point to stay alive. He was now unconscious and tied up in a sheet in the basement.

When the scarni player went to look for him at the Feedbag, he ended up helping the local Scarni dismember the body. End of character.

The scarni player is now in good with the local mob, and my new player starts a new character!!!

Sorry for the poor spelling type on my ipad...

1 person marked this as a favorite.

So I started with 4 players, got through the first goblin raid on Sandpoint in Burnt Offerings, but somehow two more players joined the group. I'm not worried about the xp as I will have them level when I want, but I'm afraid two extra players will unbalance the encounters, what would you do?

Any chance we might see a hardcover campaign setting that combines info from the Companion into a complete workable world with a world map?

I am relatively new to Paizo products but I just read on the RPGA forum that they are discontinuing support of the Living Greyhawk campaign. Is there any chance that Pathfinder might pick up Greyhawk as a campaign setting in any form?
