Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Hey Everyone! I'm going away for about two weeks - feel free to DM pilot me through what's happening, and assume I'll be lurking in the back. I'll check in from time to time, but I'm camping so I'll be trying to save my phone batteries for weather and checking in with folks from home. I'll try and look at it every couple of days, but no guarantees. Thanks!

Seeing Nalys potentially in trouble, Brandt redoubles his efforts with the wolf he's fighting while calling out, "Nalys, I'll be right there! Don't let it get you on the ground!" Attack Wolf #5, if it drops, 5 foot step to Nalys' side
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Brandt discards his bow, unlimbering his Great Axe as he steps against the onrushing wolves. Yelling loudly, "Get Away!" he aims a brutal overhand chop at the first wolf he reaches, attempting to smash it to the ground quickly and singly. Drop longbow, draw Greataxe, 5 foot step, power attack
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Brandt, seeing his comrades step into action, loosens his axes and steps in front of Nalys. Drawing an arrow smoothly to his cheek, he sights along the arrow to find the next wolf to appear. Delay until he can see a wolf clearly, if that's before the wolves act, great! If waiting until they go, that's fine as well. Longbow to Hit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
"[b]Nay, Gnome, turning our heels makes us look just like prey, and we could lose packhorses or ourselves if we try and run. I think Nalys has the right of it, if we spread some fire and group the horses in the center of it we'll scare them off in a better way than running will do. [/b" Brandt, reconsidering his options, says. Looking to the others for assent before proceeding. However, he does unlimber his bow and strings it in a quick, smooth motion.
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Looking around the group, Brandt looks grim. "We're sitting ducks out 'ere, but I donno that running will put us in better space either. What you wish we should do? I think if we can find a spot like this one and settle ourselves for a bit of a scrap we'd fare better than letting them run at our heels." Brandt shrugs to show he's indecisive about this and will accede to the group's wishes.
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Holding an arrow at the ready, Brandt peeks over his shoulder at Geliglee. "Lad, what are we doing here?" Brandt returns his focus to the kobolds, waiting on their action to see what happens next. Dammit Gnome! What are we doing, talk quickly! Ready an action, if the kobolds look like they are attacking, attack the closest Kobold.
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Cursing his heavy boots, the dry weather, branches on the ground, and everything to do with today, Brant advances into the clearing and fires an arrow at a standing kobold. 'Darn Kobolds! Ruining a perfectly good walk in the woods! Surrender!' Longbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Brandt double checks his axes, and strings an arrow to his longbow. Stealithy moving back toward his companions he motions for silence, holding up 4 fingers and pointing back over his shoulder, then holding his hands to the side of his head, closing his eyes and yawning while he does so and finally motioning for them to follow along with him back to the clearing. Stealth: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 6 - 2 = 9
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Nodding to what the others say, Brandt sets to work gathering helpful items from the immediate surroundings of the camp, seeking to help offset the effort of the former bandits and keeping them, Svetlana, and Oleg happy. Day one:
Gather influence - Knowledge (Nature)1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 Day two: Brandt spends the day gathering berries, locating prime lumber, and looking for interesting roots to spice up the menu. (Gather influence - Knowledge (nature))1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Nodding thoughtfully at the words said by Rorek, Brandt motions to his companions, Svetlana, and Oleg to wander away from the fire and discuss the matter. "I think this may be a grand opportunity for us to build some trust with these lads, honest work which will help us make them allies." Brandt looks from member to member of the group.
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Whirling the greataxe around his head and embedding it in the body of the predator, Brandt drags it out of the lair. "Thanks for the help, everyone." Peering deeper into the lair, "Should we see what that is in there? I donno what we'll find though. At least lay that poor fella to rest?"
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Brandt, seeing the spider threatening Calum drops his longbow and loosens his greataxe from across his back as he advances into the spider's lair. "Thanks for the help mate, let's see if we can't finish the darn thing fast!" Move, Attack
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Brandt dismounts carefully, putting an arrow to hand with his longbow. Carefully entering the boneyard, Brandt scans for signs of imminent danger before looking for tracks. "If this is a lair it may be not far gone, we should be careful though. Calum, stay ready in case this thing shows up suddenly, please. " His eyes focused on the skeletons and whatever sign of their creator... Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Once the trader has gone inside, "Not now, but at some point, I'd like to upgrade my armor and longbow, but I've been able to use a lot of the things we found so far, and I'm quite content with where we are now. This lets us put coin to keeping ourselves alive and increasing Geliglee's magical prowess for the time!" Brandt settles down to eat, "I think that haunted bridge and mud springs sound potentially very interesting, and something we should eventually put our eyes to seeking out. "
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
"Aye lass, sounds grand to me." Brandt says, eyeing the thing askance somewhat. Considering the goods which the trader has brought with him. "I don' think I've got the coin to buy anythin' else, but I'd be looking for other armor or weapons - but is secondary to our needs as a group." Turning back to the trader, "My name's Brandt, I'm here to help guide folks around the wood, and I'm wondering if you know any good trails or spots to travel to around here?"

I looked over at the gameplay thread before looking here, and the roll came up Nat 20, which translates to two labor being produced from Brandt's Survival roll (since I didn't realize Nalys wasn't going to do the animal training). Brandt would agree on that Hex needing our exploration next as well.
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Agreeing to the point both Geliglee and Isla made, Brandt will pitch in around the outpost, locating replacement items found in the nearby environment for things needed; and teaching the former bandits how to better dress game, patch holes in roofs with pitch and other naturally found items. Survival (for Labor): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
Pondering the conversations in the outpost, "Geliglee, while I applaud wanting to get things done quickly, I think we would be best served by riding out in force, rather than risking finding more than we can chew out there." Brandt contributes, looking from the gnome to the others.
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
"Aye, a grand idea Isla. I think we need something to keep each of us upright should the berries not last as long as we'd hope. I'm perfectly content donating whatever share I'd have otherwise toward the purchase of a thing like that." Brandt adds thoughtfully, He'll follow up with the guards about how things have been in the few days since they left.

Failing to shake sleep from his head, Brandt rolls out of his tent, longbow in hand, but barefoot all the while. Seeing the large boar bearing down on the party, he will fire an arrow at the creature, attempting to draw its attention away from the others for a moment. longbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Cursing the sleep in his eyes, he grows frustrated from his inability to shoot straight.
Male Human (Ulfen) Ranger 1, Hp 13/13; Fort: +5, Reflex +4 Will +1; AC 17,
"I say we get ourselves gone from here with what we've found. Did we see if they had spare horses? That could help us getting things back to Oleg's." Brandt responds to Isla, "If other folks want to deal with the bodies first I'd be ok with that, although probably easier to build a pyre than bury them."
