Appearance:
Boshi is tall and skinny as a rake, with a thin, expressive face. He holds his head high, emphasizing his pointy chin and nose and often giving the impression that he's looking down at the object of his attention. This posture can also give his smile a fierce edge, making Boshi look like he's "all teeth." He wears his brown hair short, mostly, and parted, but keeps a shock of it on top of his head slightly longer. It often flops down in front of his face.
The many layers Boshi wears are a habit picked up from adventuring in the frozen north, and still serve him fairly well in Numeria even if they don't hide his skinniness. It's a brown ensemble, mostly, with darker jacket and outer trousers made of sheep's wool and a lighter ox-wool coat that reaches down to his ankles. The pockets are cushioned enough that the gadgets, junk, and spell components he keeps in them don't clatter too much when he moves. He wears a subdued maroon scarf; he usually keeps it tucked into his jacket so it appears no more than a neckerchief, but it's actually several yards long. He picked up his white shoes in Numeria. They look like they're made of canvas, at first, but they never foul in the rain or snow.
