If you ever resurface CH, I would like Bosch to be grandfathered into your Legacy of Fire 2.0 campaign.

i was really hoping to see this kick off :( where did CH go?

I was too, especially after the application/selection process.

All I know is the last time I looked CH posted the exact same message for us and three other PbP's of his within minutes of each other, and he hadn't posted a thing since.

Hope you are feeling better CH. Can you give us an ETA for your return? I know we can fill this time with RPing but I always intended Bosch to be a quiet one until after our first couple of encounters.

Standing six and a half feet, Bosch is hard to miss in the caravan. He has kept to himself mostly. He prays to Sarenae at dawn and sunset like several of the others. While traveling he stays a short distance out in front of the group. At night he sets up his own 2/3rd shelter from his staff, two spears and some canvas. He practices unusual moves and poses until prayer time in the evening, then eats from his own supplies and reads from one of several small books by lantern light using a small hand-drawn portrait as a place mark. He is up and packed early each morning, always lending a hand where needed to get moving again. He has shown no interest in drinking or gambling so far.

If observed one would note that his tattoos cover many horrendous scars. His wrists are particularly bad, an indicator of the many different sets of shackles they have been bound by. His long black hair is well kept and braided, flecked with premature grays. His brown eyes are peaceful but a bit sad, constantly watching the horizon during the light hours. During peak sun hours both are hidden under a tightly wrapped head-dress. He wears only loose fitting clothing, no armor.

Nuveril has caught him studying her more than once. When noticed he does not react like he has been caught, instead he continues looking for a few more seconds then back to whatever he was doing. During her "sand-bath" she may have even caught a hint of a smile.

CH, would you post his pic if I send it to you?

Totally correct, and redundant anyway. No limit to Flurry of Blows per day so why would he ever not use it for double attacks? Deleted that line.

All else checks out then?

Whether or not any of the PCs knew each other prior to signing on to the expedition is up to you.

Mearrin, did you end up taking the missionary campaign trait?

Bosch's page is updated. Still going to deepen his back-story a bit but all info should be there and hopefully error free.

I'll have my info updated by tonight.

Is this going to be text only or are we going to be using some kind of map tool for combat?

I think the Missionary trait is a good fit for Bosch, so I'd be okay with approving a +2 modifer to said skill, if it's alread a class skill.

Exactly what I was hoping for CH. Thanks.

CH, I was going to pick the "Missionary" trait for story purposes. The actual benefit for me (as is) is negligible. Any chance you would amend it so that if you already had your chosen skill as a class skill then the modifier could be higher than +1?

If not, I would take the "Finding Haleen" trait instead. Has anyone taken that one yet?

A Halfing barbarian with a chip on her shoulder and a gruff demenor.

A Half-Orc monk on a mission to rise above his brutal past and find peace.

Only non-humans in the party.

[insert Odd Couple theme song]

We are going to have alot of fun with these two.

Missionary: You’ve spent much of the last several years serving your faith, and the conviction and dedication to your church has impressed many. Perhaps you’ve donated much of your personal wealth or time to serving the church, or you’re the child of a powerful or well-loved member of the church, an orphan raised by the church, or a foundling with a strange birthmark that bears more than a passing resemblance to your faith’s holy symbol. The faith has long supported you, and you are eager to repay the church in some way. In Katapesh, the establishment of a new village is always cause for interest to the nation’s churches, as establishing new temples in villages is an excellent way to expand upon the church’s resources and bring in more faithful. If the Pactmasters’ plans to revitalize and rebuild Kelmarane are successful, the village will need a temple, and your faith is keenly interested in being represented there. This campaign trait is particularly suited to worshipers of Sarenrae, as Kelmarane was founded near an old monastery dedicated to the Dawnflower, and reconsecrating that monastery is of great interest to Sarenrae’s church. Furthermore, a temple dedicated to her once stood in Kelmarane itself, but it has long since fallen into ruin; whispers among the religion tell that the church’s old pastor may have fallen from grace and may even have been part of the cause of the hard times that befell the village. You’ve joined Garavel’s band in hopes of helping to establish a new temple in the soon-to-be evitalized village. You’ve been selected for your dedication to the church and your strong social graces—pick one of the following skills: Bluff, Diplomacy,Intimidate, Knowledge (religion), Perform (any), or Sense Motive. You gain a +1 trait bonus on checks using that skill, and it is always considered a class skill for you.

Nice. Don't have time for much now, but just wanted to say congratulations to everyone who was selected!

I put the information from my submission on Bosch's page. I'll fatten it up soon.

I'm taking the missionary campaign trait (Sarenae), anyone else? We could know each other already.
