Bog Rat's page

Bog Rat is an urchin of the shackles, his first memory is being thrown to sharks by an angry sailor who found him stowed away in the cargo hold. He was dragged from the sea missing a leg and a good chunk of his face in a pirate fishing net. The Ships carpenter, a besmaran “priest” saved the pitiful creature from death and the young goblin firmly attached himself mind and soul to the bastard. The besmaran to his dying breath never deemed to bestow the creature with a proper name, “bog rat” when he had to refer to his sniveling lackey.
Bog Rat remains a cowardly creature with a peg leg and heavily scarred face. He has survived his life in the shackles so far by groveling and serving whoever he perceives as strongest, richest, or otherwise most likely to protect and or benefit him. He has leveraged his natural proclivity for climbing into jobs working the rigging on whichever ship will have him.

Bog Rat has learned the best way to survive is to keep his head down and follow orders. Despite his appearance and cowardly demeanor he is a productive member of any crew he joins and a crackshot with his pistol.
