Born and raised in Isger, Bivotar was part of an army scout unit that patrolled the Chitterwood. Sick of his nation's suffering at the hands of Cheliax, he defected to Andoran, in the hope that one day it would be in a position to aid Isger in throwing off the shackles of Chelaxian oppression.
Unimpressed with the lack of Andoren concern for the Isgeri plight, he joined the Pathfinder Society so that he could spread word of his nation's sufering throughout the Inner Sea (and might have a greater opportunity to strike directly at Cheliax), while retaining his connections in Andoran.
