Bisimone grew up in New Stetven, only child of the human merchant Salis Odraken. She arrived on his doorstep late one night, delivered by a courier with a simple note, indicating the babe's name and that he should care for his daughter well, as her mother's circumstances prevented her from raising the child. Three years prior, Salis had spent time in Kyonin, lining up trade and export agreements that allowed his jewelry business to sell certain rare elvish crafts exclusively in southern Brevoy. While there, he had a minor relationship with a young elven maiden, eager to experience something of life Kyonin could not offer. Little did Salis realize what that dalliance would bring about.
Bisimone grew up headstrong and willful, much like her mother had been, though touched with the fiery temper long known amongst the Odraken family lineage. As she approached her "teen" years, she began to exhibit far more than a fiery temper, she could flash her anger and actually make things alit. Realizing she was touched with a part of the Odraken line long since dormant, Salis enrolled her into the finest schools and agencies in Restov, seeking mentors that could groom her of her temper, and to bring her powers into check. The effort yielded little results along Salis' thoughts, but tempered Bisimone into a young woman accustomed to getting what she wants, when she wants it.
Using her natural beauty and passionate personality, Bisimone found she could usually sway the attentions of others to her mindset, be they teachers, shopkeepers, or fellow students. When those more vague, suggestive means failed, she found that a sudden shift to her fiery ire often yielded the desired, even more beneficial results. She found many saw her potential use of fire and ire to be a negative easily avoided by a little give and take. Rarely did she have to use her powers, simply display them a time or two and life proceeded at a good pace for Bisimone, a life made enjoyable by her father's modest incomes and her own persuasive mannerisms.
All of that change rather recently. A young Medvyed noble with whom Bisimone had a brief friendship took it upon himself to take her into his inner circle to nurture her and teach her what life in Brevoy was really all about. Bisimone found him to be somewhat of a dandy, and a lout, and spurned his advances. His rejection did not sit well and he took to pursuing her vigorously. Late one evening, he and his companions set upon her as she exited a tavern, to take her to the noble's dwellings until she saw reason. Bisimone lost her composure at this sudden physical confrontation, and the fires of her anger left three ruffians dead, the noble scarred and burned.
The matter was quickly hushed up by the Medvyed family. The noble was healed of his injuries, only the pinkest tinge of coloring to indicate his scars. The authorities let the matter drop, but the Medvyed could not allow a trollop of lower station survive unpunished for the attack. They sought to punish her father and his businesses for Bisimone's actions. Bisimone beat them to the punch, and through some contacts she had made around New Stetven, she had herself banished from her home for endangering the welfare of the public. Fire, magical or otherwise, was a necessary fear in any town, let alone the shadier neighborhoods.
Salis afforded what coin he could to prepare his daughter for her departure, wishing her all his love, desiring to flee with her. Bisimone refused him, knowing that for the Medvyed to leave him in peace, he would need to stay behind, to resume his life and livelihood as best as he could. She would be fine, she assured him. It was time she learned to make something of herself on her own. Once the matters had settled down, and the Medvyed lost their taste for vengeance, she would return, or perhaps send for her father to come to her. After all, a small border city such as Restov could offer a girl of her unique talents ample opportunity to thrive, perhaps to prosper.
