Hello while i love the Pathfinder rules and setting, i feel the To hit/armor/HP system is too meh. So i was wondering if anyone knew of alternative rules for Armor, where you can Parry/dodge attacks and when you are hit your armor takes the damage before you take it. Even better if it has hit locations and Injuries systems too :)

I know i could move to Gurps, Mythras or some other systems, but for the most parts i love how this system works.

While Brutish Shove does not have the Attack trait, it causes you to make a Strike which does. This means your second example is the correct one.

Thanks that makes sense to me now :)

Hello,

I am trying to wrap my head around the rules for Brutish shove. Brutish shove feat is a one action skill that has the tags Fighter and Press. Press means it cannot be used unless you have attacked previously. so you can only do it after you attack. But you the feat does not have the attack tag and in multiple attack penalty it sais that only skills with attack tag count towards the penalty. So does that mean that when i use the brutish shove, that i make my attack at full strenght ? or am i reading the rules wrong ?

example
action 1 Attack
action 2 Brutish shove
action 3 Attack -3 to attack, because of flat-footed from brutish shove which gives -2 to enamy AC.

or Example 2
action 1 Attack
action 2 brutish shove -5 to attack
Action 3 Attack -8 to attack.
