Standing outside of the water plant, Biggun watched as people started to come and go. "Why wait? Biggun say get in now, find bad guy when people leave."

"So go in, smash bad guys, get reward, and drink?" Biggun asked with a grin, already thinking about all the alcohol he could get.

Sorry, no can do. Not familiar with GURPS, though I've heard good things about it. Besides, I'm already in a metric crap ton of games as it is >.<

"What? Biggun not gnome!" Biggun yelled, outraged at Ravboom's insult. Slapping the smaller goblin on the back, he said, "No call Biggun goblin! Though, giant is cool..." And then he got lost in dreams of giant weapons...

Strolling into the café like he owned the place, flush with his recent victories in the arena, Biggun looked around curiously. "What is...kuufeee?" he asked Ravboom.

Mmkay, that works for me! Also, what about me doing gladiator matches every day/every other day? I don't want to clog up the forum with a bunch of solo fights, and I don't really have any useful means of gaining downtime stuff.

Laughing in glee as the large man fell under his onslaught, Biggun happily took his prize winnings. "Biggun fight any time!" he told the promoter, hoping that his win would bring in more crowds to see his awesome power.

How do you want to do the matches? I would more than likely fight every day or every other day, depending on how the matches went, but I don't want to clog the thread with a bunch of 1v1 battles and take the game away from the storyline.

I'd say Zomskane would work for us, don't have a problem joining them.

Also, Zed, how much gold should we have? I know you said to bring us up to our WBL, taking into account the lowered WBL for ABP, but did we have to add up everything or did you set a static amount?

Pity I don't have Combat Reflexes, that could have been two AoO's against him.

Biggun laughed in the man's face as he jumped up and tried to grab ahold of the large goblin. "Biggun not scared of you! Biggun knock you out and win fight! Biggun win all fight!" he yelled in glee as his chain lashed out twice, catching the brute across his chest and back.

Spitting out a glob of blood, along with a broken tooth, Biggun gave a manic grin. Laughing at the man's strike, as though it didn't bother him at all, he suddenly lashed out with his chain at the man's legs, hoping to knock him onto the floor of the ring.

Charge Damage: 2d6 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (3, 4) + 5 + 2 = 14
Performance Combat: 1d20 - 1 + 1 ⇒ (17) - 1 + 1 = 17

With the large human leaving himself open for a shot, Biggun gave a grin from large ear to large ear, almost splitting his head in half, as he charged forward. Chain swinging wide, it landed with a meaty thud against his opponent's flank. Raising his hands up in the air, he shouted out, "Biggun strongest here! Biggun take you and all others down!"

Actually have all the books for Machinesmith, it's a great class even if I haven't played with it yet. (Not a lot of games allow much 3pp that isn't DSP or Rogue Genius. Or Spheres of Power.)

"Biggun fight knockout with weapon!" Biggun exclaimed in glee as the fight coordinator spoke to him. "Biggun fight good and bring people here, make much money here." With relish, he looked his opponent up and down before stepping into the ring, his chain swinging in circles beside him. "Name is Biggun, make you fall down!"

Where is all the information for these downtime rolls and stuff? Never been in a game with downtime like this that wasn't just glossed over.

You got my condolences on your loss, Palo. Always sucks losing a loved one.

I'll post in game play tomorrow after reading up on performance combat rules. Would do it tonight, but I had to take a muscle relaxer and it's gonna knock me out shortly.

Returning to the room after signing up for a fight the next day, Biggun heard Ravboom's comment. "Biggun head fine! Too hard to hurt!"

Should have Biggun up and running, except for the campaign trait. We did get that, right? I can't remember what I picked, so I'm thinking about getting the Far-Flung Gladiator trait.

So, it seems that Myth-Weavers has lost all character sheet data saved after July last year. I'm having to go through all of my sheets and fix any problems I come across. I'm not sure how long this will take, so feel free to DMPC me in the meantime. I'm so sorry about this.

Right now Biggun is just interested in the Battle Pits. Speaking of, do the fights follow the rules for performance combat/dueling/etc.?

After finding ans paying for a luxury room, Biggun spent the next day or so hanging around the fighting arena, watching some of the smaller fights and getting a feel for the rules. Nodding to himself that it seemed like a good way to make some money, not to mention a good time, he promised that he would join in a few fights before they left this place.

As Rav finished the repairs on the little metal thing from the station, Biggun was surprised by its new personality. "Did Rav fix wrong thing?" he asked as he kneeled down and poked it.

I'm posting this on all of my games. I recently went to the doctor's, for the first time in over 10 years, and while I am relatively healthy, I am on a couple meds. One of the meds, unfortunately, does make me lethargic and not up to doing much of anything. If I don't post for a day or so, which I'm trying to do, you'll know why. Feel free to DMPC if needed.

Also, that was a really crappy thing to do. Seems like it should be one of those stories GMs tell young GMs to scare them straight.

"Long as Biggun not slave, no care," Biggun said as the chained people were forced passed them. "Strong rule weak, how always work. Even here. Maybe Biggun fight in arena, make money for group? Could be fun."

If possible, what do you think of Biggun being a gladiator for a time while we're here?

How much hard coin would we have gained? Do we need to calculate our current wealth, items and coin and stuff, and add in the difference?

Still not liking the large crowds, Biggun nonetheless was attracted to the various food stalls. Pondering over various chunks of meat, he eventually picked one at random and paid for it with a bit of the new coin the group gained. Wandering over to the half-metal woman that joined them, he asked, mouth full of unidentified meat, "So, where from?"

Awesome! I was hoping to have Clap-trap's unique brand of insanity added to the group!

After the initial shock of the marketplace wore off, Biggun kept his eyes open suspiciously, a hand gripping the end of his chain. "Biggun not like place, too many people crowding." he said quietly to the others.

Shaking the sweat from being under the tarp like a beast, Biggun looked around in awe. And then the awe was replaced with a sort of boredom. "So, what we do now? No have coin here, find job?"

"Place have many weapons, all different looks and size," Biggun offered, patting his own oversized chain fondly. "Have big monsters to make dead." Giving a shrug, he added, "Not seem diff'rent than here. Have only one sun."

I prolly won't preorder, but I do plan on getting it when it's released.

Savage Worlds and Mutants & Masterminds do a good job with being hard sci-fi. d20 Modern can do it as well, though I'm not as fluent with it as I am other formats.

Biggun didn't really understand why others always made a fuss over clothes. If he didn't need armor, he'd probably just go around naked! Shaking his head at the strangeness of other big people, Biggun looked over the cart. "Biggun not pack animal, but maybe tie to back of big cart and pull to town?"

Giving Vael a thump on the back with a grin, Biggun exclaimed, "Good, always better in group. Unless big and strong like Biggun. So, do metal make you strong? What you eat?"

If you had gone the goblin route, there's an alchemist archetype called Winged Marauder that gives you either a dire bat or giant vulture as a mount.

Biggun grunted as Ravvie used him like a step stool. "Biggun could drop pack," he muttered before giving a shake, hopefully dropping the offending goblin back onto the ground after he tossed the metal piece. "Still say half-half is strange. Much better to be all one thing, less confusing."

Speaking of appearances, I'm roughly the size of an average human, though rather more...outward than some. Also, my mouth and ears are much bigger than they should be, and my chain is sized for a Large creature.

"But why make flesh and...macheen?" Biggun asked, head cocked to the side. "Why not just flesh or just macheen? Don't metal moving keep you awake? Make Biggun go batty quick."

Noticing the glowing rock in it -her?- hands, he asked, "How much for small sun?"

After searching for a much-hated horse to kill with no success, Biggun watched the weird two-legger climb out of the case and start yelling. Wincing and digging a finger into am ear to get rid of the ringing her voice caused, Biggun looked at Ravboom and asked, "Biggun think it too noisy. Biggun make it be quiet?" His chain clattered as he unwrapped it from his shoulders.

"What? Horse? Where horse?!" Biggun cried out, looking around wildly for one of a goblin's most hated foes. "Biggun smash horse! Crush it skull and rip off leg!"

Hopping off of the cart behind Rav, Biggun asked, "Think it bandit?"

But Biggun ear ache...

I have that PDF and really look forward to trying it out at some point. Unfortunately, so many tables have a lot of restrictions on 3pp *sad face* So if Zed allows it, and you make it to the Goblin game, I look forward to seeing how it works.

With that reminder, Biggun rushed back to one of the dead dogs and picked one up. Carrying it over his shoulder, he walked back to the strange thing the new people came in and said, "Since Biggun not kill you, Biggun good to go. How this thing work?"

Slightly disappointed that there wouldn't be any impending vionlence just yet, Biggun gave a sigh. "Maybe Biggun smash weak sickly one?"

My vote is for CL4P-TP for the Goblin game!!

But, that's just my opinion....

Biggun wasn't used to hiding and sneaking. He always used his bigger size to get what he wante. But, in this new land where more things were his size or bigger, he was starting to realize that that wouldn't always work. Straining his ears, he waited for a good signal to attack.

Yeah, as soon as ABP was mentioned I went through and fixed that. Good looking out, Ravvie!

Biggun gave Ravboom's offer some thought, metaphorical steam coming from his ears. "Biggun like Boom, nice and noisy, but Biggun better at hit things. Biggun get next to thing and smash it."

Biggun just gave a shrug at their suggestions. "Biggun not have home. Biggun join Solie cause chief not like Biggun, think Biggun want lead. Biggun just want find big weapon that fit Biggun. Now Biggun not even same...play-neet as tribe." Giving another shrug, he turned towards the fire. "Maybe...maybe Biggun find big weapon here? Big enough for Biggun to make big thing dead."

With nothing else to do, Biggun followed behind. He was at a loss of purpose. He set out with Solie to help her grab the Sun, which was a good goal, but with her gone, he had nothing for himself. No grand plans, no secret goals. Nothing. It was refreshing in a way, he could do whatever he wanted, had no burdens other than survival. But... What did he want? Other that living until the next day, what did he want? Moving through the supposed kitchen area, he automatically placed some of the strange rations into his pack as he moved through the room. Even the strange symbols had only gathered his attention for a moment. Finally, as they settled down for the night, Biggun looked at the others and just asked, "What Biggun do now?"

Hi, I'm here! I'm the oversized goblin (not part giant by the way), and could really use a good healer. Glad to see you join up!
