Backstory
An academic from Altori, growing up Bianca had always studied the talent flowing in her veins, bvt it came from a long line of wise women and medicine men, people who believed in the Arcane and the issues that came with it, but also respected it. Bianca however, saw more to it than that. She saw the attraction it can cause, the truths it can get to, and the love it can grow. She saw only the chance to explore the Arcane in a larger place than her small country home, and perhaps catch the eye of a Prince, or more realistically just a well off person who excited her and her them. She does try to keep her arcane arts secret though it is harder than she thought, because the love of knowledge is what drives her more than anything, so much so she studies it to the point of distraction some time, something a paramour of hers may have to deal with in the future. She has had a few in her past, one of which, Lucrea Dimoa, was once her best friend turned lover turned bitter rival as Bianca was picked to take the spot the village had to go study in the great Ilrien. This means she had to come to the city with some others newly arrived from her area.
Goals Like all young women, Bianca has her eyes set on the romantic love found only in the good trashy novels, and yes she reads them, how dare one suggest knowledge is useless? Though she does try to limit the ones she reads, she always has a very spicy book with her, given her flights of fantasy of some knight in armor carrying her away. But then other days she is the one who is carrying the maiden away on a mystical current of air, as she looks to grow her power to make her one of the most feared and respected arcane users around.
Personality Jealous would be a good word to describe how she gets when people outperform her, but she truly feels slighted by the women who were born in the city. She will try to prove her worth perhaps to her own risk either health or otherwise. But to her close friends, she is kind and giving, always hoping to cheer them up or help clean up a mess. 'Magic can cure many things, but a good friend is magic' is a motto she lives by.
