About Bhelmdur
An ugly dwarf behind all the metal armor he can afford. Values his tower shield more than his battleaxe. Loves to throw things at enemies. For those who get close enough to him, he has a kindness buried beneath the stony exterior (which is quite stony even for a dwarf). It would take a stubborn fool to put up with his outward disdain for elves, orcs, humans, and their ilk, but wisdom would teach that his prejudice is mostly a facade for his gratefulness to have companions at all. The only ones that he openly likes are gnomes. His past is a mystery to even those closest to him. He never mentions a clan name yet is part of the sovereign crusade. His evident bouts of infernal blood-raging give us clues to his past but what exactly, he isn't saying.
Scholars in general know of Dwarven society's lack of acceptance for those tainted with the blood of evil outsiders. Perhaps Bhelmdur is the unfortunate victim of such a bloodline.
Recently Bhelmdur was killed fighting a cultist of the "living god". His friends in the pathfinder society used magical services to bring him back from the edge of death (and some great ale in the halls of his fathers!), only to find they sold much of his magical gear to pay for such services. Luckily he was able to buy his heirloom Dwarven War axe back! In his stay in the other world Bhelmdur realized his own foolish adherence to the infernal rage in his blood was the cause for his death. If he would have kept a clear head and concentrated on defending his allies better, he might have lived. His meeting with Torag in the other world has brought him closer to the truths in his heart and with his renewed life he has vowed to take the robes of a cleric and learn to heal his companions and defend them as Torag has for him despite his tainted blood.
