Appearance
------------------

Height: 6'0", Weight: 175 Lbs, Eye Color: Green Hair Color: Black

Belluan keeps his hood over his face most of the time to hide a purple tattoo that he has across his face. He usually wears black clothing while traveling to keep himself always warm. He even wears an outfit specifically designed against the cold for this reason. He has long black hair that falls onto his back covering the black scales he has. He carries himself with the air of a nobleman, but no signet ring, or fine clothing can be seen with him. If he does get into a fighting situation he makes sure to have his warhammer ready to smash down on unsuspecting enemies, or he stays out of the fight with his favorite bow. He does carry quite a few things with him, but most of it is to hide the other stuff he carries, and those who take the time to truly examine him notice strange vials of liquid hidden around his body. Most of his survival gear is packed away, but he always seems to have something for a given situation.

-------------------
Personality
-------------------

Belluan enjoys being out in swampy areas where he can sit back and relax. He is normally okay around cities, but he seems to care more about getting money than actually enjoying the comforts of civilization. He doesn't trust anyone around him, but he makes sure that they think he is friendly. He loves money, and tries to make as much as possible through whatever means necessary. He is intelligent though, so most of his plans seems are well thought out, and planned to perfection. Some would call his plans borderline obsessive, but he knows that the best way to make money is to be prepared for anything. This has led him to become a negotiator so that he can focus on talking to people, and making deals to profit himself while keeping out of harms way. Belluan will listen to those he considers his intelligent equals, and he will even help out with their plans as long as their is a profit to be made. The one thing he cannot stand is hasty plans, or people who rely upon chance to help them out.

-------------
Background
-------------

Belluan grew up in a lesser noble house in Magnimar. He grew up being taught all the things that his parents thought a 'good' boy should know. He learned to fight with every weapon, and wear even the heaviest of armors. He learned how to read people, and how to make them feel at ease. As the years went by Belluan got angrier and angrier at his parents who he was convinced were stifling him from his true potential. Belluan began dabbling in other arts without the watchful eye of his parents. He made several poisons for his family, but he was discovered by the watch before he could poison them. Running away without much on his back Belluan took a short stop in Sandpoint.

In Sandpoint Belluan met many different people, but it was a small halfling who helped him out the most. The woman's name was Beatrice, and she was the one who introduced Belluan to the sheer amount of gold that could be made from robbing. Belluan and Beatrice became a good team while they raided some merchants who were leaving town. Their last job there they almost lost their lives to a bunch of adventurers who had come out to stop the attacks. Belluan and Beatrice got out of there with only a small amount of gold, and they decided to flee back to Magnimar.

In Magnimar Belluan disguised himself and hid most of the time while Beatrice robbed. During that time there Belluan learned about his powers. He found that he could call up magic whenever he focused. He felt the magic forming into either magic arrows, or some sort of color display. Using these new powers Belluan started to come on jobs with Beatrice offering not only steel, but magic as well. It was during their time in Magnimar that Belluan and Beatrice heard about the new land that had been discovered. They each knew the others thought before they said it, and before the morning they had left for Absalom. The trip there wasn't that difficult even though they had to settle a few disagreements with some of the other travelers. Luckily Beatrice was well trained in the art of hiding bodies, and people disappeared all the time as they gave up. It was with a slightly fuller purse that Belluan made it into Absalom with Beatrice.

Belluan agreed to go get the supplies for the trip while Beatrice looked for a way onto the ship. Belluan was easily able to get everything they would need for a trip into the wilderness, but Beatrice had found a snarl in their plans. The tickets onto every ship had already been claimed. Both of them knew what they had to do, and they got to work in a frenzy. Beatrice found the nice couple with a child, and Belluan met up with them to discuss their plans for a new life. Quickly destroying their hopes with a tale of slavery and horror Belluan convinced the couple that he was actually a pathfinder agent in disguise and that he would deal with the problem, but he needed their tickets. They quickly gave him their tickets free of charge and they thanked him for his kindness. Belluan waved them off with a smile, and the very next morning he and Beatrice moved onto The Smiling Maid.

During the travel over the seas Belluan made sure to go out and make friends among the sailors. He became a close friend to them, and learned their dirty little secrets. When the trouble started Belluan was willing to just shrug it off, but when things started to get even worse Belluan began to do his work. Convincing the sailors that their fellow mates were the cause of the problems Belluan caused a small riot on the Smiling Maid. While the riot was going on Belluan traveled with Beatrice into the stores of the sailors, and began to steal as much as possible. When they had as much gold as they could get they went onto the Laughing Lillend taking a few new place as they made themselves at home. The rest of the trip went by uneventful for them except for the night of violence. When that night came Belluan went back over to the Smiling Maid, and he killed the sailors who had known about his tales before he headed back.

NPC
--------------

Belluan travels around with a Halfling woman named Beatrice who is almost as in love with gold as he is. She is a cunning roguish woman who has big dreams about gold, but that isn't her only desire. She also likes the thrill of the steal, and she never allows Belluan, or herself to become complacent with just one job. She constantly comes up with get rich quick plans that she tries to rope Belluan into. Since some of those plans have actually worked Belluan not only keeps her around, but she is the closest thing to a friend that he has. Neither of them completely trust the other though. Beatrice is someone who is Belluan's equal when it comes to matters of the mind, but she is even better at slipping into places unnoticed. Belluan is the charm, and Beatrice is the slippery one when it comes to catching people. One of Beatrice's best schemes involved her "robbing" Belluan so that he could call for the watch while Beatrice went onto the true job, and robbed them. With Belluan distracting the watch no-one was able to stop the nimble halfling. They had perfected this scheme to an art-form, but Beatrice always had new ideas she wanted to try out and Belluan would always keep an ear open.

--------------
Goal
--------------

Belluan's goal in this job is to make money. He knows that the best way to make money is to stay in a position of power, so he seeks out power as well. He also knows that working together would be the best way to make money as fast as possible, but he still won't trust anyone. Belluan is still angry at his parents for their stifling of him, so once he acquires as much gold as he can Belluan plans on making a trip back so that he can finish what he started with the poisons.
