Harrumphs, and strokes his stache as he waddles in. He was not the overly cautioned type, as sometimes to get the best results you had to mix right when the explosion would happen. He would mutter under his breathe " Why can't people just get along for the gold?"

I'll check them against mine, but for now keep them on you. While they march along, he tried to help anyone who needed. However, upon hearing and seeing the results of the ambush, he sighs. I can count on one hand how many of my resistance errands ever went smoothly. I should have know.

Coughing some of the smoke out, as he was unable to assist much, he wipes a handkerchief across his hands before stating " I think he has a point however. One may die over their honor, if their honor is on the line. If we die before our mission is complete, then we are nothing better than those low good for nothing Wyvens. We have not been handed the glove of challenge, so we shall flee, together, and help while we can." He makes his way with the group towards their goal, prodding them a bit faster, as faster as a dwarf can move.

Blusters out " Ma'am, I'll save you!' Before he rushes forward to try and help out. He wasn't able to do much, but he could knock down a door or three sometimes. He had enough fumes and smoke in his face, he knew it was unpleasant,

Coughs politely, then says " Well my friends, I dare say we best be moving on. Ladies, I would not mind if ya'll would be so kind to stay in the middle of us. I fear I may be unable to reach my shop in time, and so we must depart. You said it was that way?" He then starts to shoo and move everyone towards their goal.

Strokes his mustache with one hand, before nodding. " A gentleman would give his word that he would not harm you. I will give my word that if you leave peacefully you shall have no harm." He still had in his hands his mixture, and some of them would know how bad that small vial could hurt once thrown. Going to ready incase someone does something stupid, like attack us

Sighes, and loudly states " Well, I do hate to leave a party early, but it just seems like to many things are happening. I'll head home and collect myself, and met at the agreed upon place. You did say there would be more resistance fighter there right?" Everyone in the room knew he was bluffing, but it doesnt mean those outside did. Bluff roll yo: 1d20 ⇒ 2

Looks into the pouch, nodding, and you almost would think he was counting, but he would never be that rude. Just put it away, before looking at everyone else. Seeing them move, he tries to hear anything.

Strokes his mustache, and nods. He had not thought of leaving, however, he did have some ties with both the resistance and the thieves that would most likely come up during any questioning. He was not that discreet, as most knew a good merchant traded with whoever. He would place a large hand down, and bob his head in agreement. " Yes, yes, I would have to agree with moving. I would have to pack a few things, and would need assistance from some 'friends' about some of them, but I would dare say I see no issue. Would be a fine chance to learn new recipes, open new markets. When would we need to leave? And I can cover for a few of you, since you mentioned business men can move freely for now. I'm a might bit afraid Lady Fly that I can not think of a good cover, but the rest should be quiet easy." Waves his broad hand towards Saltstone, and then the rest describing what he felt would be a good cover. " As a fellow dwarf, being cousins would be an easy lie, and for the tall legged ones, some sort of armed escort. Mr Longears would be our gifted translator to anyone foreign."

Strokes his beard as he listens in, before coming to a decision. Most here would know him as a businessman, and it colored in his reply " Well my dear, I would hope the guards could understand I have some grain fields to check on. And seeing as I would just need to ensure the proper treatment for the upcoming seasons lagers, they would have to let me out. Be a mighty poor host, one that can not provide palatable drink for one's guest. Surely not just military traffic is getting in, for there would be mighty fine riots if word got around food was being rationed, or rather, not being delivered at all." He had from the past knew a little about how word of mouth can affect a business, and as a known supplier of drink, he was willing to bet a few of the guards liked his brews. The only issue would be how to explain the flying girl. Two dwarves would be easy, but the rest... not so much.

GM: Smooths out his beard, and stops to ensure that he was well groomed. He was known for looking dapper, and while the loss of business hurts, he would never let that faze him, at least publicly. He would check on the rest of his small group of customers, to reassure them that while Theddlewheck was gone, he would still supply them. He was not sure how many of the new contacts would pick up his brews, but he would try. If nothing else, he would run back by his lab, checking on his brews, before heading over to the Poison Apple. He would stop to read the sign, as there were a few new faces in the area he did not know. He would wait until he noticed Torrent, or other members enter before he to would join in. I totally missed the discussion part. For anyone interested, I think a small side shop with the resistance would be where most would find Beauregarde, but also various taverns and bottle shops. Maybe not the biggest name, but I can see a few of the shops around his home holding his brews. |
