About Bartholio El-Mars
Ethnicity: Taldan
Nationality: Andoran
Country of Origin: Almas, Andoran
Appearance: Tall, broad, and built are apt descriptors for what one sees when sizing up Bartholio. The muscular man has a fair complexion, a mane and full beard of brown hair, and striking blue eyes.
The way he dresses leaves little to the imagination, baring as much of his sculpted, heavy musculature as possible - excepting the white sleeve with a wide gold stripe that covers his right arm, along with the golden chain wrapped around its bicep. He wears bandages under polished anklets and bracers, otherwise walking without footwear, and a flowing golden cape.
His demeanor shines almost as bright as his seemingly perpetual smile - Bartholio is confident and proud, though completely without being demeaning. His presence has a bolstering air about it, and simply being near him is enough to stir some to heroism.
Backstory: Bartholio is the most recent in the El-Mars family of heroes, adventurers, and do-gooders across Golarion. Raised in Almas, Andoran, Bartholio grew up in a house that was modest for his family's wealth, rubbing shoulders with the commonfolk. While he lacked in what some would call common sense and situational awareness, he always had a sharp moral compass and surprising strength even as a young boy. It was clear early on that Bartholio would not be content living a life working a trade - thus, he ventured with his family and found faith in Kurgess' worship along his travels as a youth.
It was only a matter of time before Bartholio learned about the Pathfinder Society as he wandered the world. He may have struggled with academics and memorization, but the Society saw in him bright potential for bravery and heroism, and after his training with the group he now emerges as a promising prospect for the Radiant Oath.
Pathfinder Training: Academy, School of Swords
