Work for two weeks in South Africa, then played tourist for about 10 days.

Zimbabwe was really great. I highly recommend it.

We visited South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Zambia over the trip.

In a low voice Barnabus tells the others.

"The bloke on the throne is clearly undead, I can tell that from here. The robe covered in eyes is a clue that he probably sees everything this place and collects in information. I think we've found this Sar-Es that the gray dwarf told us about."

He pulls out his flask and takes a strong pull.

"Let's be about it." gesturing up the street.

"We have directions to this Dripstone Inn place. I say we make for there gather some information and perhaps make the place our base of operations." Barnabus says.

"I think we should attempt to gauge the overall situation before asking directly for information about our quarry. They probably shouldn't expect pursuit, but if word gets around that surface dwellers are asking about them, then we'll find ourselves walking into a trap."

"Master Bruthwol, your people and mine have long been adversaries. Why should we be trusting your word and your trade here and now?" he asks.

Barnabus ducks out of the swarm of fluttering roaches and moves north. (to stand where the number 3 is on the map)

He spins around and lets out a gout of flame to encompass two of the swarm-squares.

"Flickem' Bickus!!!!" he roars out in his arcane pidgeon.

The flames rush out and stop right in front of Bozvrig, the heat warming his exposed skin.

"If we're going to follow them through the earth node to retrieve the stolen artifacts, we will need to stay here for at least eight hours. We need to be on our guard while we wait."
