Could you please cancel all my Pathfinder and Starfinder subscriptions.
I am getting tired of receiving my orders damaged because of minimal packaging. I'll have to try and find another way to get my monthly pathfinder fix...

- Pathfinder Adventure Path subscription
- Pathfinder Campaign Setting subscription
- Pathfinder Companion subscription
- Pathfinder Modules subscription
- Starfinder Adventure Path subscription

Regards,
Angel Garcia

Hello,

It is with regret that I have to cancel my Pathfinder Roleplaying Game subscription. The shipping costs for hardcovers have simply become outrageous.

Regards,
Angel Garcia

Hi,
A couple weeks ago you suspended at my request all my subscriptions because I had to cancel my credit card for security reasons.
I have just changed my payment method so it is now OK to reactivate them all if you would be so kind.
These subscriptions are :
- Adventure Path
- Campaign Setting
- Companion
- Modules
- Pathfinder RPG

Regards,
Angel Garcia

Hi

Could you please suspend all my subscriptions until further notice (hopefully I'll be able to reactivate them by the end of septembre)

I had to have my credit card cancelled following the hacking of DriveThruRPG servers, and because my bank sucks I have to wait one month to get the new one...

Regards,
Angel Garcia

Ah, very well then.
Thank you very much for your help!

Well, I just checked my account and it looks really weird. I now have the product "The Lost City of Barakus appearing 3 times in my sidecart (as Print/PDF bundle, PDF and Harcover)...

Also, looking at "My Subscription" section for the March shipment, I can see the "Lost City of Barakus" and the "Strategy Guide" but no mention of the other subscrition products scheduled for March ("Tombs of Golarion" and "Melee Tactics Toolbox if I recall correctly)? I hope this is just a glitch.

Thanks a lot!

Hello,

My order #3464982, The Lost City of Barakus should be in my sidecart but strangely it shows as pending. Could you please move this book to my sidecart so it can be shipped with my subscriptions.

Thanks for your help!
Regards,
Angel Garcia

Oh, very well then.
Thank you for the swift answer.

Hello,

Most of my February Subscriptions still have not been shipped (I only received "Belkzen", but the rest is still pending). Could you look into it and see if there is a problem.

Also, I ordered the "Morph Recognition Guide" for Eclipse Phase in January. This book was not listed as a back order when I placed my order, but I assume it was not in stock because it was placed in my sidecart. It has been sitting there for 2 months now... So, if you think you won't be able to ship this product with the rest of my February Subs, please just cancel my order of the "Morph Recognition Guide".

Regards,
Angel Garcia

Seeing your photos, the book looks gorgeous indeed.
Sorry if I sounded negative but with a price tag of 100 bucks plus shipping to Europe I can't really afford to be disappointed... I've ordered a few hardcovers from dtrpg in the past and the quality has always been inferior : binding glued not stitched (that has broken for one big book), cover bent (once), very dark black & white printing (to the point that it was hard to see anything on the illustrations), very thin paper (you could see what was printed on the other side and the pages were slightly curled).
Anyway, I understand why print-on-demand might be the best option for you, business-wise. And there's no hatred for PoD in my comments, just facts I experienced. I just want to make an informed purchase of the physical product (because I already know the campaign in itself is awesome)

Thanks again for your answers.

Is the printed book solely for the kickstarter backers or will it be offered here also?
And if so, will it be the same print-on-demand book that is produced by onebookshelves/Dtrpg/RPGNow, or will it be a "real"/traditionally printed book.

Is this the same book produced via kickstarter or is it a POD printing?

Thank you Katina. Following your intervention, all seems well now regarding Deep Magic.
Thanks again.

Thank you very much! That's very decent of you.

Please cancel my Pathfinder Cards subscription. (This line now has too many different products, other than the item cards and face cards I was originally interested in.)

Thanks

Hello,

I'm having two distinct issues with my Deep Magic preorder

Some time ago I preordered the Deep Magic book and it was sitting in my sidecart. A few days ago I was notified that my subscriptions had been finalized for shippment and I noticed Deep Magic was not included. So today I went to My account and in my sidecart, and I chose to have Deep Magic sent individually. When I clicked the button I was redirected to a webpage displaying the Paizo golem, that said there had been a bug. Now there is no trace of my preorder anywhere...

The other thing is that I'm still waiting for the free pdf of this same product (offered with preorders). But since I can't find this preorder anymore...

Can you help me? Lately, I've been experiencing quite a lot of problems with the paizo webstore.

I should add that this book was added manually to my sidecart by Sharaya from the customer service, following another issue with the check out wizard (http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2qvsz?Problem-during-Check-Out-process).

Best regards,
Angel Garcia

I think Liz Courts has missed some preorders, because the PDF still isn't in my downloads. Or am I missing something?

Thank you Sharaya.
Even like that, I was not able to place the order for the two remaining items in a single order. The system indeed seems to have a hard time processing preorder items and print/pdf bundles alongside standard items.

Eventually I just ordered the items separately and all went well.
Thanks again for your swift response.

Hello,

I can't order from your webstore because each time I click on the "Place my order" button I get sent back to my "Shopping Cart" page. I've tried multiple times since last week but the problem remains.

I don't think this has anything to do with my payment method since my subscriptions are still authorized normally. Maybe it's because I'm trying to order preorder items alongside standard items?

Could you please look into it?

Is the hardcover printed via POD or a "true"/traditional printer?

That's great, thanks! I'll jump on the bundle as soon as it appears.

Anyone knows if this will be available in print eventually?

I've got the same problem. When I click the "Place your order" button, a new page is very briefly displayed (no time to read what's displayed)then I am sent back to my "shopping cart" page.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Yeah, I really hope this has nothing to do with the card game. I subscribed to the module line to get RPG adventures, not some kind of hybrid product...

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I've got one big complaint about the new checkout wizard: it doesn't show the increase in shipping cost when shipping with a pending order.

Also, when I last tried, it only showed the latest pending order (I've got 2 pending orders at the moment).

Finally, I very much liked to be able to know in how many parcels an order would be shipped.
It is very important for me as an international customer because it indicates if customs are likely to open the parcel (and often damage the books with their clumsy hands... happened many times)and sometimes subject the parcel to custom duties. Big parcels get frequently stopped by customs, small ones do not, at least in my country. So I try to place orders that will be shipped in several parcels. I'm not absolutly sure this feature isn't there any more though.

Thanks, but this solution won't work for me.
Before ordering anything I need to know the shipping costs (since I'm ordering from Europe these can be pretty steep).

Anyway, I'll try again some day in case you've manage to fix this issue.

Hi,

Each time I try to order a Print/PDF bundle from the paizo webstore I get the following message during checkout :

"Shipping Method
This order cannot be processed because an appropriate shipping rate cannot be found."

I've only tried for 3 different items : Razor Coast (Frog God Games), The Heartstone Valley (FGG), and The Lonely Coast (Raging Swan), but I suspect
the problem might be the same with other Print/PDF bundles.

I would appreciate if you could look into it.

You're right Nylanfs, I just had to load the set for GameMasters in order to build my beloved Aasimar :)

I'm loading the "Pathfinder RPG for Players - Advanced" set.

Thanks everybody for your answers.
I've had some time this week to try out the software and I have to say that is a great tool!
With just a few more races available for PCs et Familiars, it would be perfect.

Keep up the good work!

Sounds cool, but I'd like to know what kind of datasets are included.

Is there support for the APG, the "Ultimate" books, the Advanced Race Guide, etc. ? Or is it Core only?

That's perfect.
Thank you very much.

Hi,

I've just subscribed to the Gamemastery Cards line and chose to start with the "Pathfinder Cards: Artifacts Item Cards" (Order # 2301477). I was expecting the item to be shipped automatically with my other subscriptions items this month, but I must have missed a step in the process because it appears that it will ship separately (Order # 2301476)...

Would it be possible to combine this item with another shipment in order to save me some shipping costs.

Either my next subscriptions shipment (November shipment)or my order #2294069 that is still pending.

Thanks for your help

Best regards

Angel

That's what I thought. Thanks for the confirmation Enlight!

Hello,

I just subscribed to the AP, Module, Companion and Campaign Setting lines and, as expected, I did not receive the Pathfinder advantage because my first AP subscription product has not shipped yet (it should ship by the end of September).

Will the Pathfinder advantage be automatically applied to the next subscription shipment (end of october I guess) or is there anything I need to do?

I wonder because in "My subscriptions" the estimations for the next shipments (october and november) don't seem to apply the Pathfinder advantage...

I've been thinking about a way to give certain characters a few more skill points per level without changing the number of skill points given by their class (and so having more skill points would remain optional).

I'd just have to allow a player to trade Hit Points for Skill Points. Since I've always disliked the randomness of rolling for Hit Dice at each level, this appears to me as a interesting solution.

This method assumes that
1) a character gains the maximum hp from his class hit die per level.
2) the number of skill points gained from a new level remains unchanged from Alpha 2
3) but the character is given the option to trade 2HP for 1 skill point (he cannot gain less than 2 hp from his hit die though)

Take a Fighter, with D10 HP/lvl. He gains a new level and thus (10 + Con) HP plus (2 + Int) Skill Points, but the player feels that it is not enough. He then have the option to modulate his gains and take only 6 HP but 2 more skill points (for a total of 4+Int Skill Points).

Do you think it would work?

I 'd love to see the Aasimar added to the core book.
In fact, I think it would be cool to have all the classic planetouched (Aasimar, Tieflin, Genasi) as available races for players. But it is because I'm playing a lot in the Forgotten Realms setting.

Thank you for proving Chris' point so eloquently.

:)

It also proves that Intimidation should definitly be Strenght based. Indeed, until B.T. shows his muscles, no one will really feel intimidated.^^

Seriously, I am actually in favor of condensing skills. But reading the dozen of threads on the subject, I realize that nearly every partisan has his own idea about which skills should be combined and what should be the definitive skill list.
I know perfectly well that my beloved dream list will be shuned by other fellow pro-condensing. And I would hate to have to adopt some of the condensed lists that have been proposed.

For this reason, I'd rather keep the 3.5 list (fully backward compatible and which i am used to, even if it is far from perfects) than being imposed a new list that would hurt my logic or my old habits.

Maybe this is a nitpick, charging requires an unobstructed straight line - you can't use jump during a charge. And you can always move through a friendly PC, there's no reason to jump over them. Lastly, if you're using jump to get past an NPC, you're doing it wrong - that's a tumble check.

Given that the needed uses are not valid, I'm not sure it needs to be changed. Personally, I'm not going to ask for a jump check to get by a minor obstacle - a falled enemy, a log, etc. I would ask it for bigger obstacles - a low wall, jumping up onto a table - and those do seem DEX based.

The classic use of Jump is to cross a big rift. More acrobatic and agile jumps were already covered by Tumble and now Acrobatics (since it now includes Tumble). That's fine by me and thus I see no need to tie Jump to Dexterity. Let's just keep it Strengh based and keep using it for jumps that require more power than grace.

For what it's worth, here is the skill list I'd like to see in PRPG ;-)
Please note that I absolutly don't care about the skill names. What matters to me is wich skills are combined into new ones.

-Acrobatics (Dex) = Tumble + Balance + Fly

-Athletics (Str) = Swim + Jump + Climb

-Concentration (Wis) = Concentration + Autohypnosis + Control Shape
So I would separate Concentration from Spellcraft (since you don't have to be a spellcaster to be able to concentrate) and I would tie the skill to Wisdom instead of Con.

-Endurance (Con) = a new skill, used to simulate the ability to perform long term physical efforts. It would also allow to remove the feat Endurance from the game since one could emulate its effects with a successful skill check. Additionally, but it's really just a house rule of mine, an Endurance skill check could allow a dying character to stabilize by itself.

-Deception (Cha) = Disguise + Bluff

-Leger demain (Dex) = Sleight of hand + Escape artist (+ Use Ropes but it's already been removed). The perfect skill for the street magician!

-Open lock (Dex) I would not combine it with Disable Device because I don't think the two skills work the same way. I think that Disable Device, Int based, is more a matter of cleverness than an finger agility contest.

-Disable Device (Int) I would keep this skill separated from Open lock for the reason above. Another reason isthat I think, with the removal of Search, that there would be too few Int based skills for rogues.

-Perception (Wis) = Spot + Listen. Perception would not include Search wich was based on Int

-Intimidate (Str) I would make this skill Str based because I think physical intimidation is always easier than subtle intimidation. That said, a feat could allow to swich Strengh for Charisma (in fact that's just the opposite of what appears in the alpha^^)

Concerning the other skills, I would keep the list presented in Alpha 2.

How about a bonus +1 to your class skills at 2nd level and every 4 so you would never have a dead level

2nd
6th
10th
14th
18th
And all in all you only gain plus 8 to your class skills at the very end

I love the idea to eliminate these dead levels but I would prefer to grant the characters something more consistent than just a +1 to a class skill. I feel it would be a good opportunity to get rid of the skill feats (like Acrobatic, Persuasive, etc...) wich I think are not on par with the other feats in term of balance. So why not grant one of those "Skill Feats" on these levels?

EDIT : Sorry, I just realised that Joey proposed +1 to ALL class skills and not just ONE. It makes more sense indeed and appears a lot more interesting.

DracoDruid wrote:

I wonder if those who argue that fighters and clerics etc. have too few skill points are the same who are AGAINST skill merging?

I personally think that skills have to merge to a certain degree, so there a fewer point-eating skills left.

In my games nearly nobody ever invests in skills like swim or jump. Combining those into one skill just makes them much more appealing!

I agree. And I would also like to see the new "Fly" skill merged with either Acrobatics or a new Climb/Swim skill (Athletics?).

I will buy the final hardcover in 2009.
The PRPG rules will certainly not be perfect, but they cannot be worse than the original 3.5. And above all things, I want Paizo to continue to publish their fantastic Adventure Paths and modules, so even if the final rules set doesn't fit me I'll still buy PRPG. After all, the stories and adventures my players will be able to live seem to me more important than the system to run them.
