Ok, now that you mention it I'm honestly curious... what does the rest of the world do about creature speeds and the expected 5-foot square battle mats? Do people convert to meters or is that just a fight you've given up on?

We don't. It's just an abstract measure: you know a cell is a 5ft square, but we aren't aware of how long is that. That's leads up to funny GM decisions, such as allowing automatic successes on 15ft vertical jumps as if they were routinely done, or deciding that a 10ft jump is impossible or unrealistic (as if it were a 5m jump), or that someone lying down occupied three cells, all while accepting people throwing heavy objects or even people 40ft away. Have you ever had that one character that bribes the innkeeper by buying the whole village? Well, that same thing, with distance and speed.

Wait, what's the difference between animal and beast?!

Well, "Magical Beast" isn't appearing anywhere, so...

I'm guessing ethereals are night hags and phase spiders, undead are skeletons and zombies, and spirits are ghosts and shaman and medium's spirits...

I think the distinction between morality and alignment should be kept, even if they share the same core language. Morality is relative, and alignment is absolute. You can be a NG slave owner receiving spells from Sarenrae as long as you treat them well; slavery, after all, makes raising the dead unnecessary, and that's a greater evil. You can be a zealot of Ragathiel - or even Sarenrae - advocating for the erradication of an entire civilization just because you don't like the gods they worship. By our (modern, western) standards that's genocide and it's evil, but both deities are prone to crusades without an alignment change. On the other hand, Dahak fought the beast Rovagug and he's still CE, and there are quite a few acts of charity from the LE churches: small, visible acts of goodness that make great PR to hide the monstrosity beneath. There are quite a few adventures in organized play of evil agents playing good and fooling smart people, saying that good is evil and evil is good, so...

Morality is relative and a character can be regarded as evil or good depending on the culture. Torag is a force for good for the dwarves, and an evil oppressor and a murderer for the goblins. But alignment is fixed, only for Pharasma to change - maybe not even that -, so Torag is still LG (even if he allows the murder of baby goblins), and their clerics won't start channeling negative energy just because they were made POWs by the duergar.

And that's about all I can make of alignment without getting a headache. I just hope no one brings up Dammerich...

. I would worry that a "Noted" seems dismissive to people with a negative filter (I try to think about how a post could sound with a negative filter before posting to make sure I don't give the wrong impression).

I agree that "Noted" can be easily misinterpreted. Maybe some other wording would help? "Bookmarked" or "I'll keep an eye on this" or "The team will discuss this" maybe?

I appreciate seeing you guys around, though!

I agree seeing them would help with morale. As for wording, I find adding "Thanks" or even "! Thanks!" helps removing the dismissive charge, as in "Noted! Thanks!". Even canned replies that can be copied and pasted from a template would help, and could clear the data as some people are arguing that some things shouldn't be discussed (that's how the game is, etc) or posting that our reports won't be listened to.

Nobility Lore's ability to generate cash could be interpreted as a stipend from your wealthy family, I suppose.

Or a herald, secretary or chamberlain. Or a etiquette teacher for noble kids. Or a writer for the "Taldane News - Oppara's most read tabloid!".

Not a typo per se but there's a gnome ancestry feat that gives speak with animals to all animals not JUST burrowing animals but the gnome ability to speak with animals isn't mentioned in the gnome section AFAIK.

It has as a prerreq feat Animal Speaker, which grants that ability.

Thanks for the time, Chris. My lost credits are already back. :)

Concerning downloads, however, I don't seem to be able to fold/display categories. So I can access PF scenarios, as they were unfolded, and can't hide the list; but for Starfinder Scenarios I only have an ugly Paizo Inc.: Starfinder Society (23) with nowhere to click to display its content.

It looks like the Salamander Sorcerer Bloodline from Elemental Master's Handbook is legal for play without clarifications, even though it grants Craft Magic Arms and Armor for free at third level.

Misc.: The alchemist discovery, arcane school, bloodlines, eidolon subtype, focused arcane schools, kineticist infusions, kineticist wild talents, masterpieces, oracle curse, oracle mystery, phantom, rogue talents in this book are legal for play except the smoke school.

I suppose that, if legal, the first level power can be applied to dayjob checks too.

It could have received better redaction, maybe. My take, Michael, was:

Vashti is in a seemingly hypocritical position, preaching simplicity and unattachment in a setting full of big fishes. What is she doing there, what is she after? Why isn't she keeping to herself like the other White Feathers?

Sahba suggests that they speak to Vashti because White Feathers (or at least Vashti) think they are linked. Or at least, they have similar theology. The PCs don't need to know why, though. Maybe there was an uncited incident, for instance. That, like the conversation with Sahba, is up to the DM, I guess.

The cavern you access through the stairs in the middle of the map, starting from between the big square columns eastwards.

The text looks like more information was present in the intro, and was cut to meet space requirements. The information though is in there, and it's obvious a lot is left to the DM to fill in.

I tried to report on Wednesday and couldn't, but today I could and seems to be fine. Probably got fixed in between. I don't know about the switched scenarios, though, but new reports worked fine for me. Thanks for the time, Robert :)

As I was about to report today's SPF tables, I couldn't find the 09-03 scenario "On the Border of War". Indeed, the scenario is missing alongside this season's 5th, 6th and 8th. Probably an oversight.

Yeah, he announced in Facebook that the issue had been solved and the site is up and running now.

There's a PFS scenario where this shows up.

Spoiler:
Ancient's Anguish

The true phylactery is hidden and its aura suppresed, with a false one having magic aura cast onto it, which seems a similar situation to the one you describe. If the characters destroy the decoy, they must succeed on a DC 30 Knowledge (arcana or religion) to realize something is amiss (a true philactery should've been more resilient, released magical energy once destroyed, and had a physical effect on the lich). No other solution is proposed, though [redacted] seems to be able to identify it as fake just by looking at it at the end of the adventure, so maybe a spell strong enough or a roll high enough could reveal the information.

Indeed. Many people have complained in our local chapter about this issue.
