Ferocity: When you drop to 0 hit points or fewer, you can make a melee basic attack as an immediate interrupt.
Melee Basic Attack, 1d20+7=27(CRIT!) vs X1 AC, 1d8+4=12 damage
Hopefully that kills X1, interrupting his attack, thereby keeping Balgron up and alive.

Balgron lashes out at one of the Xivorts just before taking what would be a fatal blow.

Balgron tosses a lit sunrod into the center of the room then charges the Xivort Shadow Caller attempting to gore with his single horn, ignoring the Xivort Slashers along the way.

Goring Charge, 1d20+9=24 vs XS AC, 1d6+4=8 damage and you knock the target prone

Balgron's AC=17 against OA provoked during a charge.

Balgron, seeing the Xivorts slashing at Tulgeihk, moves carefully into the room and in turn swings his blades wildly at the Xivorts, hoping to clear some room for the others to enter.

Balgron approaches the hideout cautiously, turning to see which of his fellow orphans are following. "Are you all coming or am I the only one brave enough to risk my life for that of Jolin's?" he asks his companions. He inspects the door and listens for movement inside.

Perception Check at door, 1d20+11=23, if he finds no traps then he'll wait for his fellow party members to position themselves before opening the door and moving inside.

I agree the search for Jolin part can continue. If we do encounter resistance, the encounter will likely take some time, so we can get a head start on Ostran and Lamander as their encounter likely isn't taking as long. If we all wait on Davi, then they'll likely be waiting for us to complete our encounter later anyways.

Balgron covers the partially golden statue back up by moving glass shards back over top of it, "We can come back for this later, it would be nice to fill the orphanage's coffers, but right now we need to find Jolin before too much time passes. Balgron approaches the abandoned church cautiously, on the lookout for traps as the glass piles seem to funnel our approach.

Balgron draws his longsword and uses it pull the bodies from the pile of glass to inspect (Perception Check, 1d20+11=29) them further. He ponders how long they have been dead. After that he draws his shortsword and uses both to aimlessly look through (Perception Check, 1d20+11=21) the glass shards for anything of value or clues while keeping one eye on the building in front of him, knowing full well he's about to disobey the literal warning signs.

Balgron hoists himself up by standing on a cart in the street to get a better vantage point. He still sees nothing of the small blue humanoid. After getting more info from Kyleria, Balgron ponders where in Lower Dura a child could be held without any notice.

Balgron rushes into the kitchen, "Krovok, somethings wrong with Mevitari, he's collapsed, come quickly!"

"I, I, I, my mind was elsewhere, I think I saw her talking to someone, I thought it was another child at the time. It was a halfling, a gnome, or some small humanoid but with blue skin" Balgron wracks his mind to remember the details. "They were wearing a bright red cloak and a griffon mask. The kidnapper must have convinced her to wander off, she would never do that on her own."

Storyteller - What group was associated with the griffon rider in today's race? And what skill check is needed to determine info about small blue skinned humanoids?

Balgron, be sure to change your passive Perception to reflect your actual skill. I was under the impression your passive perception was 14 so I didn't show you noticing anything upon returning. At any rate, perhaps you were too preoccupied and distracted at the time to really mentally process, but now you seem to vaguely remember that...

I forgot to add +5 for training in Perception, which would give Balgron a passive perception of 19, thanks for spotting that.

Balgron holds the front door of the orphanage open as all enter. He takes a head count one by one. "Twenty-one, twenty-two," Balgron then points to himself, "Twenty-three." He steps back out into the street and looks both ways, seeing if there are any stragglers. Seeing none he reenters the orphanage. Starting to worry, he approaches Mevitari, "I only counted 23 upon returning, we're missing someone ... Jolin, has anyone seen Jolin?" Balgron's voice raises and becomes gruff with the final question.

Balgron is taken by surprise as the wyvern does an unauthorized flyby, the pattern was already full of pegasi and glidewings.

As the young rider lands his mount on the roof, Blagron follows Mevitari's orders by holding young ones back but quickly yields to their whining to pet the pegasus.

Balgron watches the races with a few peeks at Mevitari to see if he is harboring any animosity towards Balgron for being late and to see if he suspects Balgron was up to more than just errands.

Balgron's equipment, hide armor, swords, were recently acquired for being a messenger(smuggler) around the lower portions of Sharn. He will keep his equipment on his person under his clothing when wandering about, but while at the orphanage, he'll keep it hidden inside the mattress of his bed.

A medium sized minotaur with only a single horn comes racing through the crowd to the viewing area out of breath. "What have I missed? Are the races over yet?" Balgron was out running the morning's errands for Mevitari and got side tracked as usual on a side mission of his own. "Mevitari, I purchased the foodstuffs and cleaning supplies, and they are already in the pantry back at the orphanage." Balgron exhales as he hopes Mevitari will forgive him for not helping escort the young ones to the races. In actuality Balgron was running wagering money around town for some recently acquired "friends" outside the orphanage.
