Recently, these two feats have appeared in a thread I happened to be reading and were described as "mechanically broken," so I was hoping that I could get either a clarification or an errata as to the purpose or usage of these feats.

Quote:

Monkey Lunge (Combat)

Benefit: As a standard action, you can use the Lunge feat
to increase the reach of your melee attacks by 5 feet until the
end of your turn, without suffering a penalty to your AC. You
cannot use this feat if you carry a medium or heavy load.

Prone Shooter (Combat)
Benefit: If you have been prone since the end of your last turn, you can ignore the penalty the prone condition imposes on ranged attack rolls you make using a crossbow or firearm with which you have Weapon Focus.

As written, Prone Shooter doesn't seem to change anything (since there are no attack roll penalties with using firearms or crossbows while prone) and Monkey Lunge seems to defeat the purpose for using it by requiring the user to sacrifice a standard action for a benefit that lasts until the end of the user's turn.

[Edit]
Hmm, why did it wind up under General Discussions...? QwQ

[Edit the Edit]
Thank you whoever moved the thread. :D

Greetings and salutations people of the Pathfinder Society boards! I was wondering if a Gunslinger took levels in Rogue and decided to work upon the Grit talent tree, would he or she be forced into taking the Firearm Training talent as well? And, if so, would the Gunslinger be able to trade out the overlapping feat?

(Or, I could be blind and missing something...I don't know :<)
