Background:
Azoth Seastrider was born in Riddleport, a city in Varisia known as the pirate capital of Avistan. He was raised by his father to carry on the family trade. Although his love of treasure was great, he longed to explore, to see the world.
One day, as Azoth was mooring his ship in Riddleport, a man approached the corsair. The man explained that he was a member of one of the Sczarni gangs, and that the families had heard of his efforts. It didn't take much to convince Azoth to throw his lot in with the Sczarni.
After working a few jobs for the families, Azoth discovered he could work with them within the Pathfinder Society. This opportunity would allow him to search and explore the world and discover great treasures all over Golarion.
Now, Azoth uses his pirating skills in service to the Pathfinders, but always looking to increase his own fame and fortune.
Description:
Azoth wears his hair at medium length, just long enough to blow in the breeze when at sea, but short enough to not be a nuisance in combat. he combines the colorful clothing of his homeland, Varisia, with the typical piratical garb that is typically found in the Shackles. He wears a tricorne hat. The following is for flavor purposes only. The owlbear is from the We Be Goblins Too! Boon, but since he can't use it my local group thought this flavor alternative would be funny. The leg is kind of an inside joke from something that happened to him during a scenario. They have no in game benefits or hindrances, and at the GM's discretion I can just as soon not roleplay them. His trusty sidekick, Polly, a miniature owlbear cub, is always perched happily on his shoulder, and he has been known to talk to her on occasion. His left leg is gone at the knee, giving way to a wooden pegleg.
Azoth combines the jargon from Riddleport and Varisia, with that of pirates and sailors, making his speech full of slang.
