I was so consumed with the loot that I didn't see the part about the Fort Save till now, sorry. Luckily she isn't blinded by her avarice. :)
Azalia spends a long time filling up the portable hole and all the containers that she can find with wealth, and finds a good teleportation spot as close as possible so she can come back and fill up again.
Much later, when the effort of looting isn't worth the payoff anymore, she wandered off to the town that Drazh was building, and got his help with constructing a large Magical Odds and Ends store where she collected, made, and sold cheap magical items for adventurers. She lived above the shop, with a large vault built under the store and several huge back rooms with less mundane items. She invited Marten to set up the magical wards and protections on the whole thing, for of course he was better at such things than she was.
Perhaps she wasn't exactly law-abiding all the time, but the real law around here was Drazh, and he knew her, so there wasn't likely to be trouble.
Living and studying there made her happy, but every now and again she would go off in search of another rumored magical item that she hadn't had the chance to study yet, so that she could learn further secrets and create her own items.
Over the years she found it amusing to sell special items to certain young adventurers that she took a liking to. She made magical items that on the surface seemed very mundane, but had interesting extra abilities that would pop up when they were in need, and enjoyed seeing several of them come back with stories about the Anytool that turned into a silver sword in the presence of werewolves, or the sleeves of many garments that seemed to also protect the user from fiery breath weapons.
She was an elf. She was going to live a very long time, and she enjoyed perfecting her craft and gathering a following of grateful young adventurers who were worth hanging out with. She may not be accepted by her own, but she had built a place for herself in the world that made her happy, and which also helped other people. That was success.

Also, yes, still greedy, but not evil-greedy. She shared her winnings before, and she is sharing here. She just doesn't want all of the wealth lying around to go to waste, and she loves to study and own magical items... hmm. I guess I will write a little bit of an afterstory.

Oh, Azalia will take anything left, in addition to anything not nailed down, after everyone has a chance, but she already picked, so feel free to take the robes if that is what you most want. :)
Her afterstory is just looting the whole city really, and then taking it all home. She'll set up a proper magic shop, and still perhaps do some under the table transactions.

Azalia looks over the loot with an appraising eye, and although she admires the robe and so many other things, wishing she could have it all, she knows she needs to relax and let the others have a turn as well. Azalia folds up the silk sheets and furs and puts them in her portable hole, then puts all the books in there too after Marten has a chance to check them out.
If the bed is actually made of gold rather than just colored gold, she tries to remove part of it to take with them as well.

Err... it fairly reeks of conjuration, not illusion, so not sure what those shapes are. Frankly, more interested in the stasis chambers... wouldn't it be amazing to get one of those going again and be able to study it and recapture how to do it? Prevent important things from aging? ... as for this, doesn't look as interesting, at least yet. Still trying to get a handle on it. What are your thoughts?

Actually, the part of Utah where we live is at the Southern border, about an hour and a half from Vegas. It doesn't snow here... probably not as bad as Texas just because it is less humid, but it isn't less hot.
I like the no snow thing (grew up in Colorado, so it makes a nice change), but I would prefer a milder climate overall.

Azalia still thinks the gold idea sounds pretty good, but in the face of all of those other ideas, she shuts up, not wanting to seem shallow... even if she sort of was.
If she got all of that gold, maybe she'd give some of it to an orphanage or something. That would make it better, right?

Apparently even knowing it was probably a trap doesn't help when you stupidly just try to read the surface meaning anyway, and Azalia takes a lot of damage. Trying to act unphased, she then walks out of the room, trying not to let on to the others how stupid she had been... but it is pretty obvious.

That might work, but it isn't the best solution right now. I think Marten has something ... less violent in mind. You don't need to do anything.

Azalia, suddenly remembering she needed to practice with her new sword, drops back behind the group (so she doesn't accidentally slice them up), and pulls it out, doing her sword forms with it and trying to adjust to the differences between the regular swords that she was used to and this more curved form that was only sharp on one side. Stabbing seemed to be very similar, but slicing was somewhat different. She found that she actually liked it better than her old sword... just had a better feel in her hand.
Because she wasn't particularly paying attention to anything but her sword, she just walked right by the pelts before her internal treasure alarm went off and she turned back...
