Welcome. This thread is for all of our OOC needs. From clarification to discussion. I will be using this thread to paint you a portrait of the world.
Kothas is a formerly booming trade hub on the coast, however recent times have found it to be a mere fraction of its former glory. It is one of the many casualties of the war torn provinces, now only a trickle of well guarded merchandise finds its way through the harbor city.
Kothas is well defended due to it's impressive fortifications but also the increasing paranoia of it's citizens.
The region sees snow in the winter, stable 60 degree weather in the summer and a decent smattering of annoying rain and thick fog year round. To the near south lies a delta and surrounding marshland. To the east and to a lesser extent north, a large expanse of mixed evergreen and deciduous forest climbing into the foothills of the Barok mountains.
For those of you who have resided in the city a while, people generally do not ask questions they do not wish to know the answer to. Suspicious but not cold, they struggle to provide for their families for the most part.
I'll allow you all to set up your chracters and then I'll give one more post on the area before we begin.
