Auk is a half-orc orphan, found abandoned by Borag BattleAxe, a dwarven smith and cleric of Torag. The old dwarf could not bring himself to just leave the child to die, and deiced to raise him as his own. 15 years later, Auk is ready to leave home, a journey for answers and redemption. Before he left, Auk was given sword "Vengrym", meaning justice. It is a bastard sword made by his adoptive father. Auk sees the sword as an instrument of his redemption and his souls chance for peace.

Standing at just under 7' tall, with olive skin, Auk is an imposing figure. Generally calm and stoic, Auk's human features soften his bestial appearance. When angered however, his orcs features show through, his face seemingly transforming into a mask of rage and nightmarish ferocity. beneath his armor are strange tattos from his childhood. Although he does not know their meaning, they continue to act as a link to his past.
