Hey there, Im an experienced player looking for some online DnD.

I have a good deal of experience with role-playing ( 10+ years, pretty much all of which was online via OpenRPG and other such means), and have a fair bit of experience with Pathfinder.
Most recently, I played for nearly two years with a group that ran twice weekly and had adapted the PF-ruleset to various levels of DnD play, as well as various forms of Modern/Future d20; but we had a falling out several months ago and until recently I havent had the time (due to a hectic school schedule) to seek out a new group.

To give some idea of my personal preferences/circumstances where gaming is concerned:
* Im not into pbp, but have had tons of fun games using OpenRPG in the past; and Id be happy to investigate any similar program(s), as Ive seen several others mentioned in other posts.
* I am on EST, and weekends are likely the easiest days for me to (reliably) make a game session. Once I have arranged for a certain day, I tend to be very reliable in my ability to show up; but there is always a chance for exceptions (especially when midterms/finals arrive).
As a rule for me, my college education comes before my gaming commitments; though I do my best to ensure that the two commitments coincide.
* Due to a hectic school schedule, I am relatively limited on my gaming times. I would like to find a group that runs weekly/bi-weekly/monthly games on a set day/time, for at least 6-8 hours at a time; though that may be asking abit much.
* OOC organization is a must, as all the good experiences Ive had with online DnD have involved groups that are well organized and stay in communication between gamedays (my previous group had a forum for record-keeping needs and an IRC chatroom for OOC/day-to-day chatter, as well as a seperate site for file storage; which is the best setup Ive seen thus far).
* I seem to prefer action-oriented games, though time for character interaction/growth is a major requisite; as a party that doesnt feel like a party just doesnt complete the feel of a DnD game.
* Though I often have ideas for a session/dungeon/encounter, my DMing skills are still rudimentary at best. All the same, I have run well-recieved sessions in the past, and I am willing to occasionally give it a shot - if Ive had adequate time to prepare.
* Mid to high-level (level 8-20+)games are my bread and butter; though I am more than happy to start at lower levels where long-term campaigns are concerned. I prefer long-running, dynamic campaigns as opposed to single adventure campaigns.
* One of my favorite aspects of pen-and-paper-style DnD is that there is very little limitation on what a player can run in terms of race/class; from a technical standpoint. I have greatly enjoyed running monster-race characters in the past, and I find (when played well and in context of the setting) they add a certain 'fantasy' flavor to games where they are present - obviously, some disagree, and I can respect varying opinions in that regard.
However, to clarify - if your game restricts players to the 'core' races/classes only, my interest may be lacking; whereas a group with a slightly more 'open' mindset in terms of class/race would peak my interest.
* I have a personal preference for the Forgotten Realms campaign setting, and have spent alot of time researching various locations/sourcebooks that relate to the setting (FR was my old groups primary DnD setting).

If your group could use another experienced and committed player, please feel free to drop me a line here with a means to contact you and/or some information about your game/group.
Thank you.
