Agreed. It's been fun. :-) Cheers!

A little grumpy at being awoken from his nap, Atlas quickly recovers and dons his robes and doctor's mask and grabs his healer's kit. He makes way to Hani and assesses her injuries.

Seeing the slaves in good condition, Atlas bids them farewell and heads to his quarters for a much needed night's sleep, feeling completely drained of all magic and stamina.

M Dwarf Cleric of Pharasma 1 / HP 11/11, NLD 0, AC 15, Touch 10, Flat 15, F+2, R+0, W+6 / Init +2 Perc +4

Atlas, confident he's done all that he can for those above decks, heads down to the slaves' berth to check on their condition, administer mundane healing if they need it, and bring news of the battle. How many wounded and dead are there, roughly?

M Dwarf Cleric of Pharasma 1 / HP 11/11, NLD 0, AC 15, Touch 10, Flat 15, F+2, R+0, W+6 / Init +2 Perc +4

Thanks, Miss Kayla. I have prepared a spell to conjure what water I need, but I'd be much obliged if you'd help me triage the patients, that is, find out who's worse off and needs me most urgently. And ask anyone you see who has skill in healing to help. There's a lot of wounded!

Atlas touches seven worse off dying people--as he and Kayla judge--and chants what seems to be rebuking mutters in his incantations.

Dice Rolls for Healing:
Rebuke Death #1 1d4 ⇒ 1
Rebuke Death #2 1d4 ⇒ 3
Rebuke Death #3 1d4 ⇒ 2
Rebuke Death #4 1d4 ⇒ 2
Rebuke Death #5 1d4 ⇒ 1
Rebuke Death #6 1d4 ⇒ 3
Rebuke Death #7 1d4 ⇒ 4

After healing the dying in this way, he uses old-fashioned mundane first aid to stabilize the dying, taking 10 on the Heal checks if he can.

I think I could channel energy one, maybe two more times, but I can't use them. Not until the fighting's over.

Miss Kayla, thank you for your help. You've saved lives today, you have.

At hearing Kayla's cry for aid, Atlas rushes over to Lucanus, kneels beside him, and begins praying for this man's healing.
Giving up Diagnose Disease for Cure Light Wounds 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Seeing the only slight improvement, Lex prays once again.

Giving up Diagnose Disease for Cure Light Wounds 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

That better, eh Lucanus? He stands and offers his hand to help him up. I'm afraid that's the best I can do for now. If you stick close to me while I heal some others you can stand in my healing aura.

Atlas will tend to other wounded, channeling positive energy.

Atlas examines the injury a bit longer than is necessary, keeping the stoic face he normally wore while examining the wounded but letting "slip" a grimace here or there. I'm more injured than he is, even with the healing spell I cast on myself.

Sir, this indeed looks like the dire call of the Mother of Souls herself, summoning His Eminence to the Boneyard for judgment. I will intercede on His Eminence's behalf, but she demands the Lady of Graves receives due honor for showing mercy on this man and that credit will not be given to the Dark Prince, as most would assume due to the healing of a cardinal of the Archfiend.

Before Styrian can utter a word, Atlas presents his holy symbol and channels positive energy around himself and engulfing the area in a radiant warmth.

Atlas runs over to Styrian, clutching his still tender wound and making a mental note of where the worst of the wounded are so he can return and heal them.

Yes, sir? Are you wounded?

M Dwarf Cleric of Pharasma 1 / HP 11/11, NLD 0, AC 15, Touch 10, Flat 15, F+2, R+0, W+6 / Init +2 Perc +4

Anyone wounded? Atlas calls out.

I'll wait to see if anyone responds before deciding what to do.

M Dwarf Cleric of Pharasma 1 / HP 11/11, NLD 0, AC 15, Touch 10, Flat 15, F+2, R+0, W+6 / Init +2 Perc +4

I tried an attack on the foe I feinted against last time and don't see if you posted the results of that attack. I only rolled a 7 though against his flat-footed AC, so I probably didn't hit. I'm just making sure :)

Looking at the deep wound in chest, Atlas tries to steady his heart rate as he casts a healing spell (Cure Light Wounds from my [Healing] Domain slot, since I prepared it).

Casting Defensively if anyone is threatening me 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

Atlas sighs in relief as his wounds knit almost completely back together.

Atlas sees Kayla running toward Lucanus, and heads that way as well (move action 20 ft), and seeing that they are injured, he will channel positive energy (as I described above), healing everyone within 30 feet of me for 2 damage.

Not really sure what Atlas is doing until I find out what I'm saving against lol. If he's still standing and sees any wounded, he'll move to get as many people within 30 feet of himself and channel positive energy.

During the week, Atlas will tend to the slaves' rations, refilling their canteens with his Create Water spell and purifying their likely spoiled rations with Purify Food and Drink. If any slaves get sick, he will use Diagnose Disease on them and treat them accordingly. I will take 10 (for a result of 19) on any Heal checks, unless through the diagnosis I realize that won't be enough.

In his own downtime he will say his prayers someplace relatively secret, polish his axe and doctor's mask, and spend any time he can with any of the other youths he's met.

Indeed, detail is awesome :) Keep it coming :)

Thank you. Fresh fruit is going to be a rarity on board, that's for sure. He takes a piece of apple and starts to eat.

They've got me working with the slaves rowing the ship. Pharasma hasn't granted me any spells that will help much with morale or fatigue, but I can conjure water for them to drink and purify their food, that's something. What duties do you have as a squire, besides sneaking apples to Thunder? Is he yours or Ser Cortain's?

Atlas will prepare these spells tomorrow morning:
0th Create Water, Purify Food and Drink, Light
1st Diagnose Disease x 2
Domain 1st Cure Light Wounds

Glad to see I've met those worshipping more admirable gods, or at least paying the Archfiend the devotion he deserves, Atlas smirks. I'm very used to groveling. You've got to grovel when you're a Pharasman cleric healing in the Church of Asmodeus. Only reason I volunteered to go on this mission was to get out of the Church. I like healing people, even the fiend's flock, but I hate all the lip service I have to give to the fiend. At least out here soldiers are far less pious than priests. Don't really care who you're praying to when you're magicking their wounds shut, as long as it works.

M Dwarf Cleric of Pharasma 1 / HP 11/11, NLD 0, AC 15, Touch 10, Flat 15, F+2, R+0, W+6 / Init +2 Perc +4

Once the soldiers have left, Atlas lets out the breath he'd been holding. He spots and picks up the piece of bread he dropped, brushed off a few bits of dirt and resumes eating it. If he gets some stares from the group, he smiles sheepishly. Sorry, my mother always taught me to never waste food. That lesson got reinforced in the Archfiend's orphanages, too. Never enough food there. Had to pray everyday there Phar--Asmodeus to give me the ability to purify anything I ate. He hastily shoves the rest of his bread into his mouth and swallows, but the bread being dry, he draws another cup of water from the basin and drinks it. Sorry, I do not usually talk about being an orphan. I am glad to the Church for taking me in after my family died, of course I am. And allowing me the honor of healing the Archfiend's troops, of course.

I am Atlas Healshorn, nice to meet you, Matei and Lucanus. Atlas takes a piece of bread when offered and chews it thoughtfully. He is about to speak when the nobles come demanding wine. He drops his bread and his hand makes its way unconsciously toward the dagger hanging in the sheath on his belt, but he does not draw it.

M Dwarf Cleric of Pharasma 1 / HP 11/11, NLD 0, AC 15, Touch 10, Flat 15, F+2, R+0, W+6 / Init +2 Perc +4

Thank you. I'm Atlas. He offers his hand to shake.

After drawing some water, he holds up the cup Cheers! and takes a long draught, dribbling a little on his beard, longer than most humans would keep theirs but still a long way from a respectable dwarven length.

M Dwarf Cleric of Pharasma 1 / HP 11/11, NLD 0, AC 15, Touch 10, Flat 15, F+2, R+0, W+6 / Init +2 Perc +4

Atlas sighs as he pulls off his doctor's mask, and lowers his hood. The mask had been his fathers and makes him look like a bird with a long beak. Wearing the mask in the confined decks of the ship has made him thirsty, and passing by the galley, he decides to get himself some water. He turns to the maid boiling some water.

Excuse me, miss, where is the drinking water?

M Dwarf Cleric of Pharasma 1 / HP 11/11, NLD 0, AC 15, Touch 10, Flat 15, F+2, R+0, W+6 / Init +2 Perc +4

Alright, I have a holy symbol, scholar's outfit, belt pouch, Doctor's Mask and healer's kit (pretty self-explanatory), hide armor, buckler, and warhammer (since I do know I am going to be sent in as a combat medic, right?) and dagger, since it's my deity's favored weapon and all.

M Dwarf Cleric of Pharasma 1 / HP 11/11, NLD 0, AC 15, Touch 10, Flat 15, F+2, R+0, W+6 / Init +2 Perc +4

Kayla I can spontaneously cast cure spells and channel positive energy. Not that your character knows that, but I got us covered on the healing front :-)

M Dwarf Cleric of Pharasma 1 / HP 11/11, NLD 0, AC 15, Touch 10, Flat 15, F+2, R+0, W+6 / Init +2 Perc +4

Sweet. Are we going with average starting wealth or max?

M Dwarf Cleric of Pharasma 1 / HP 11/11, NLD 0, AC 15, Touch 10, Flat 15, F+2, R+0, W+6 / Init +2 Perc +4

I chose my holy symbol as my item, which would probably be hard to come by in the Chellish army, but I'd also love to get ahold of a healer's kit and/or a warhammer too. :)

Trying to update my profile, but every time I get done, it says I've "backtracked" too far and I lose my work. This time, I'm going to copy and paste :P

Thankfully I'm just copying from a character sheet so it's not like I have to figure stuff out again.

EDIT: Alright I got all the crunch up on my profile. Will post the fluff later today :)
