I know he doesn't have fangs, but Astoroth's just a little freaked out. :-)

Astoroth gives an embarrassed grin and speaks directly to Wilbur Jr. "Oops, sorry about that buddy. It's nice to meet you - and your very many pointy teeth."

Astoroth jumps slightly as Rory's adorable little companion suddenly grows massive fangs. "Ah...well...that was unexpected. I think I see why I never successfully summoned anything back at the school. How well-trained is it? Will it bite my hand off if I try to pet it?"

If the okay is given, he'll gingerly extend a hand to be sniffed, then attempt to scratch Wilbur Jr. behind the ears.

Not sure what 'Rory' would be short for, but your standard buffer Summoner is basically doing the Eidolon-as-PC thing anyway. :-)

Astoroth snorts. "How did you ever survive?" he asks sarcastically. "It must have been horrible!"

That's just a little creepy and disturbing ... I LOVE IT!!!

"Sharing of information is always beneficial. Are you from around here? I'm from Egorian, so I'll confess to not being familiar with this part of the country."

Astoroth smiles proudly. "I studied at the Arcanamirium. Didn't have much knack for summoning, but I did get pretty good at destruction magic! Probably why they kicked me out; nobody enjoys a good prank anymore, it seems. I'm Astoroth, by the way. What did you say your name was?"

By the way, that creature is utterly adorable.

"I'll make sure to savor it, then. You have my thanks." Noticing the eidolon, he starts walking that way.

Astoroth graces his small audience with a quick grin before turning back to wait for the barkeep to return with his drink.

Astoroth snaps his fingers, and a gold piece appears in the palm of his hand. He gestures, and it floats over to the bar. "Better?" He raises an eyebrow expectantly. "A glass of Raspberry Summit Wheat, if you please."

"Hoi! Barkeep! Are you blind? There's customers standing here!" The man's voice sounds irritated, but - interestingly enough - he nods towards the Halfing and cloaked corner-sitter before indicating himself.

Astoroth plays off as your typical rich, arrogant ass but he's actually quite humble and kind. Just keeping up appearances so nobody suspects he's an Andoran agent. ;-)

A young, arrogant-looking man strides up to the bar. In a haughty voice, he exclaims, "A glass of your finest red if you please, my good man!" As he waits, he looks around to appraise the patronage and sniffs condescendingly.

Sounds like a plan. :-) I have about 200gp left over but am probably going to cut out a few of the more expensive consumables I've bought to get a little extra cash.

The Magical Lineage trait from the APG. Whenever I apply metamagic to a specific spell (magic missile in this case), I treat its final level as 1 lower. It's the same method a Magus uses to cast Intensified shocking grasp as a 1st-level spell.

"Being caught. Not because I'd be tortured and killed, but because I'd no longer be able to help others."

"As I said, I'm an Andoran agent who secretly frees slaves and escorts them to a place where they'll be safe and free from oppression."

Pontificor, you sound like my sort of fellow. Can you give me any advice on how to restrain the urge to Color Spray everyone in sight when I get excited? By the way, those rumors about a Kelish dinner party getting knocked unconscious by an errant blast, it WASN'T me.... *looks around nervously* Anyway, if we ever get to adventure together, I'm sure we'd get along splendidly: birds of a feather and all that.
