About Arwyn Fynolt

Appearance:
Arwyn Fynolt is a beautiful half-elven girl. She is slight; barely 5’6”, and slender as all elves are. Snow white skin, Ice blue hair and eyes, long upright ears that look sharp enough to cut flesh.
She dresses in the usual motley of brown and green that is almost the uniform of the Rangers. Over one shoulder, taller than she is, is a longbow.

Background:
Arwyn is the daughter of Tassaraea Willowbark, a snowcaster elven alchemist who was exiled from her clan for having a child with an Ulfen hunter.
Arwen's father was killed by a group of trolls while she was a babe, after Tassaraea was exiled from the snowcasters.
Devastated by her husband's death, Tessarea fled south from both their clans disapproval, she and Arwen ended up here in Heldren 25 years ago and took a human sounding surname.
Since then, she has stocked a potion of resist energy (cold), and a surprisingly large stockpile of alchemist fire - since the death, people know she's had an irrational fear of trolls, and she's got moments where she obsessively crafts the stuff for the (in her mind) inevitable moment when she must face them again.

Growing up, it was hard for Arwen to make friends with her exotic coloration. She took refuge wandering out in the deep forests, where a solitary experience offered solace. She learned the Longbow and the ways of the forest, and it was no surprise when she took up the profession of Hunter, Scout and Guide; the same as her father.

From her Mother, she learned of magic that resided in things. She heard many stories of magic artifacts, their makers, how they were made, and lost and quested for. She gained a curiosity about the magical realm that would increasingly guide her.
As she came into her adulthood, she became increasingly restless. Her parents would tell her little of the snow covered lands where they came from; and her imagination filled in the gaps with impossible beauty, rugged icescapes and warriors of surpassing valor. She wondered if she dared to go visit such a land. Her parents had came from there hadn’t they?
