Thank you for the clarification! Ill address this in the future, although this is the first time this particular situation has been relevant for our play group.

Unfortunately with the Undead Company, Olenjack is pretty bad at the other non-combat checks, but his allies do give him some padding. You mention an interesting point that since Undead Company is a barrier, you don't take damage if you fail a check. I was under the impression if you failed a combat check, you took combat damage = to the difference, regardless if it was a barrier or monster.

Ouch! That hurts pretty hard. Thank you!

New situation: In WotR adventure 2, the henchman Undead Company reads: "Each character attempts a check to defeat; if any character fails, the barrier is undefeated."

Lets say that I'm playing Olenjack and my friend is playing Wu Shen. Wu Shen encounters the Undead Company. Wu Shen attempts the combat 16 check with a Deathbane Crossbow and rolls a 20 to beat Undead Company. Olenjack doesn't have a weapon but has 2 allies. Olenjack chooses to evade. How does Olenjack's power "Recharge an Ally to evade a bane" interact with Undead Company, in terms of "if any character fails, the barrier is undefeated"?

The rulebook on page 10 reads: "Apply any evasion effects: ... If you evade the card, do not activate any other powers on it. Shuffle it back into the deck; it is neither defeated nor undefeated, and the encounter is over."

Thanks in advance!

Yep, you get 3 extra skill feats (corresponding to the medals chosen), in addition to the normal skill feat for that AD. It is indeed instructing you otherwise.

Soulshear is probably the only Corrupted loot you have available at this point, though it's possible to play scenarios out of order. There will be more later, and they all use that same rough template for redemption.

Good luck, and happy to hear you're enjoying it.

Thank you Keith! Appreciate it!

Greetings! My local crew is excited to continue SotR AP2 the War for the Worldwound. I'm reading ahead and have a few rules questions. The AP reward is "Each character gains skill feats corresponding to all medals gained on the troop Knights of Kenabres (as noted on your Chronicle Sheet)."

There are 5 scenarios for this AP and let us assume that everyone is Tier 2, with 0 successful completions within Tier 2. Upon completing these 5 scenarios, everyone will be Tier 3 with the skill feat completion. According to the guild rulebook, "You may only gain one feat of each type in each tier, unless instructed otherwise."

Several questions:
1) If you have already taken the skill feat for the Tier 3 progression, are you allowed to take these skill feats for the AP reward? It appears to contradict the guild book.

2) Three of the five scenarios give you a personal medal on Troops of Kenabres. Assuming you successfully complete all 5 scenarios, you will have 3 medals. Are you then allowed to take 3 skill feats upon successfully completing all scenarios in this adventure path? (Essentially, does this AP reward count as "unless instructed otherwise"?)

3) Specifically concerning the scenario reward for 1-2E "A funny thing ... forum", "You may redeem 1 loot card that a reward has allowed you to temporarily add to your deck and is listed on the Redemption card." At this point, the only loot that can be redeemed is the Soulshear. Does this line of text mean that players unlock the ability to use redeemed loot (only Soulshear at this point)? Is this how this mechanic works in the future?

Thanks in advance. My group has fallen in love with the PACG and specifically WotR. Keep up the awesome work!

So what happens to scenario rewards such as 0-1C (Brine Dragon Hunt) and 0-2D (Who Owns Hell Harbour) where the reward is "Each character gains a power feat"?

If 0-1C is completed, then everyone should already have a power feat for tier 1 by then. Is the scenario reward 0-1C invalid (since you can only gain 1 feat of each type in each tier ...) or is this a case of "instructed otherwise"?
