Arisha glances around, noticing the disturbance but pretending she hadn't. James wordlessly flies to her side, and she presses something into the constructs hand. Lazily, James flies around before dumping ink in the area where Arisha had noticed the disturbance.

Pretty sure that you are next to me. Its probably better if you walk up to attack them than me since I think there is only room for one of us and you would deal wayy more damage than me.

Arisha lacks SM

Arisha remains fairly relaxed until Angus and Tove react strongly and aggressively towards the older man. She feels a pang of guilt that everyone else seemed to pick up something and yet she herself had missed it. Mentally urging James first she draws her weapon, holding it loosely in her hand to discourage a sudden charge form the bandit group.

"Lets not panic" Arisha advices, keeping a close eye on the fort up ahead. "There is a small chance that there is an unusual, but logical explanation for why the situation looks like it does. Lets be cautious."

James sways a little and briefly soars around Yurishi's head at her suggestion to watch and learn, before keeping its electronic eyes fixed on her, studying the movements. As the night wears on, the little construct obediently keeps watch throughout the entire night, noticing
Yurishi disappearing into the night, as well as a fox running outside the perimeter, but unable to see a connection between the two events.

For her part, Arisha sleeps peacefully although her eyes flick briefly from James to Yurishi as the construct updates her with the events of his watch.

Had a similar issue to Tove. Catching up.

During the day, Arisha tries to spend as much time in the wagon as possible, with a notebook open on her lap. Spotting the wolves chasing down a fleeing stag, Arisha draws a quick sketch, before noting down some of the descriptions and sketches of the various flora and fauna in the vicinity. Arisha wasn't really much of a biologist, she considered herself more of a mechanic or inventor first and foremost, but she figured that keeping a detailed record of the area and its surroundings could be fairly useful when attempting to colonize the landscape. She was very much looking forward to speaking with Oleg when they arrived to see what local knowledge the man might have of the area.

During the first night, Arisha sleeps easily. It took a moment to get used to the various sounds of nature during the night, but once she grew comfortable, Arisha relaxed. After spending time in an urban city learning her trade, it was nice to once against to hear the sounds that were so common in her rural hometown when she was little.

One the second night, Arisha notices a few of her companions flourishing their weapons, going through practice motions. A little self consciously, she pulls out her own weapon, a longspear, and James does the same, drawing his own (much smaller) spear. Flying in the air, James flies around Arisha, jabbing with small, quick movements while Arisha dances. The two make no sounds, but its clear that there is some communication happening between the two, as James abruptly switches stances, attacking from a different angle. After a few minutes of this, Arisha flops down on the ground, and opens her backpack, pulling out a few alchemical items. The sentences are quiet and rather jumbled, but its clear she's introducing each item to James.

Packing up her things, Arisha realizes that the group has moved closer together and joins them, listening as Tove launches into song. Behind her, James watches quietly, before the construct starts to rock backwards and forwards, clearly trying to somewhat poorly copy the movements that it had seen Yumiko had been making earlier. Arisha claps when the skald finishes. "That was very beautiful." she remarks before going quiet, thinking hard. "James says 'good sounds'. He enjoyed the performance as well" she nods, translating for the mute construct.

Arisha reflects for a moment on the difficulty in finding a suitable wagon driver. "I guess I could also try and drive it. Its not something I would be particularly skilled at but if an extra pair of hands were required?"

Something tells me its probably a Handle Animal / Social Skill check to drive it if its pulled by any beasts of burden. Do we know what the required skill check would be to drive a wagon GM?

For what its worth, Arisha has Infusion, and is happy to pass out extracts of Cure Light Wounds to everyone. I just realized that HL doesn't export my formula book, so I'll fix that and put it into my profile.

Arisha is very much a full support character anyway since her archetype trades out both Bombs and Mutagen. She mostly relies on James (or any crafted allies) for anything hyper combat related, while she passes out buffs or summons as appropriate.

As for Clerics, I don't like them much since they get such a terrible amount of skill points. I know there are archtypes for that but they take away certain things in exchange and then I feel like playing a different class. Also, I find the cleric spell list (on its own) a little boring sometimes :( Channel Clerics are awesome though!!

Arisha listens to the conversation on naming conventions, making a mental note of the preferences, secretly glad that she hadn't yet made a faux pas herself. At the mans question, she nods firmly when he confirms her name.

"Yup, my name is Arisha. No extra suffix or honorific here, just something mundane for me. As for my friend here, his name is James. He's my best friend, so you can treat him just like you treat me if you want. James, say hi to everyone" she finishes, before turning towards her construct companion.

There is a long awkward pause as James doesn't say anything but Arisha gaze drifts off as if listening to something in the distance before she nods earnestly. "James says hello and is looking forward to working alongside everyone. He err...he doesn't really talk much though to anyone outside of um, me."

Turning her attention to Harbinger she wanders over and gives the horse a light pat on the neck. Arisha was fairly used to horses and didn't mind them, although she didn't really fancy herself much of a skilled rider. She preferred inanimate forms of transportation, over an organic creature that might have its own ideas on where to bear its rider.

Arisha visibly relaxes slightly as the top of law and order is shifted away from and deferred for another time. It seemed like they had the opportunity to treat the bandits as they liked, which gave some flexibility depending on the situation. She smiles a little bit at the mans joke, appreciating the effort he was making to set everyone at ease on what was certainly going to be a tricky task to accomplish. She didn't quite 'get it' but she respected the effort.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Arisha files out into the corridor with everyone, checking to make sure that James was still behind her. She knew that the construct could be a little temperamental on occasion and it was always best to keep an eye on it. TO her relief, it was still following close behind.

As the conversation shifts to mounts, Arisha frowns for a moment in thought. "I don't have a mount of my own. I haven't really ridden a horse before and never really thought about purchasing one. If everyone purchases one I guess I'll follow suit as I don't want to slow us down, but I'm more used to walking."

I don't think Arisha would have had any reason to visit Elphinstone. Its quite a distance from where she grew up and where she has travelled - she might not even be familiar with the place.

Its possible that Angus may have heard some vague reports of Arisha - as a young woman roaming around with a construct companion might be an unusual enough story to become a casual topic of conversation but I don't see her as having a particularly loud 'reputation' as it were.

Arisha shifts a little in her seat. She was capable at handling herself in combat, fighting in tandem with James. Gruesomely cutting off someone's head though wasn't something she had any great practice in, or desire to experience herself.

"Just from my perspective, I'm fine with fighting in self defense. I'm fine with proactively seeking out and removing threats. It would trouble me however, to execute someone who had surrendered. Some people might take up banditry because they feel its the only route available to them to escape poverty. Some might have been blackmailed or forced into joining a bandit group to protect their families. I would support a softer approach in these situations."

Arisha pauses for a moment, thinking the problem through. "I'm assuming that a repentant bandit is someone who is willing to change their ways. I don't see providing them with an opportunity to make amends or give back to the community as meeting the definition or interpretation
of 'slavery' in the River Freedoms code."
the alchemist finishes before flushing slightly and ducking her head. "Um, thats err, just my opinion on it at least"

At the back sits an ebony skinned, dark haired woman, dressed in dark, rugged leather clothing, suitable for the workshop or the wilds rather than elegant attire. Behind her stood a miniature humanoid, its dark steel exterior and light whirring noise giving away that it was actually a construct rather than a human. The construct stands rigly straight behind the woman, with unnatural stillness and patience.

Arisha intertwines her fingers and twists her hands together awkwardly. She hated awkward silences but no-one was really saying anything and Arisha wasn't sure if that was strictly polite. On the other hand, Sellemius hadn't exactly address her directly, and Arisha wasn't sure what she should say. She would probably muck things up - small talk wasn't exactly her strong point. So she shifts awkwardly in her seat, hoping that someone would eventually break the ice.

Arisha's backstory is up. I still need a description and personality for both her and James (and a detailed blurb on my NPCs) but I should get that up in a few hours or so. Almost done!
