"I would help but that was something I don't really know how to do so well... besides, the guy kind of creeps me out, with his story about the other bandit and everything," She said before looking over to the rest. "Anyone willing to tie him up?" She asked.
Arianna took the food and nibbled on it before grinning some and then looked to Darian, hearing what he said before looking towards the rest of the party. "... I don't think we should forfeit him to this enemy of his... If what he says it true then this could prove problematic for us," She stated.
Arianna herself heads into the tent and sets up her bedding before eating some rations herself if Wendell doesn't try to cook again, from there she will try and sleep.
The princess walked over to try the Pathwalker's Potpourri and though it didn't taste like his cooking back at the castle, she could at least 'adjust' to it. "It's not all that bad... I mean, you're a better chef than I am," She stated, and to ensure he knew this she took another bit of the stuff before she got back up. "I must help finish setting up the tent, though maybe you could try again, father did provide us with quite a bit of food outside of trail rations, and there's always hunting as well.
"Well it definitely is Shavel, I have to say things are going quiet 'well' so far... though I'm hoping we have better luck soon... though praying isn't a thing I normally do," she said before she added some more touches. "Anyone willing to help with setting this tent up?" She questioned and then looked to Mileana. "And sadly Shavel, Mileana does have a point... I would rather we not have to silence him for good but it is unwise for people to hear of my private life," She stated and then look to Wendell. "Speaking of your crepes, do you think we could have one of your great meals tonight Wendell?" she asked and then chuckled about his comment about the bandit. "Indeed, though still, I'd rather not let people know of my affairs."
Arianna helped set up the tent for the party, it would take about an hour to set up as it was big enough for the entire party.
“I’ll be sure to ride in the middle of the group, thank you Shavel for advice,” She said before moving her horse to the middle of the traveling caravan.
Ariana goes up to Anchard and places a hand on him. Cure Light wounds
She walks up to the Bandit and then whacks him, or tries to with her mace.
And misses.
"... Darian, you're outnumbered, 1 to 6, maybe you should surrender," Arianna said before she hopped off of her horse and pulled out her mace. "I don't want to have to hurt you, but if it comes down to it, I will."
”I have a wig, and I won’t be wearing my normal clothes either,” She said before she rummaged through her bag and pulled out the slightly tossled wig. She ran her fingers through it a few times before she put it on, fastening it down to ensure it won’t move. It was a red hair wig, definitely off from her original hair color, though her eyebrows were still brunette.
Disguise:
“That’s about all I can do for now…” She muttered, feeling a little inadequate now for not having though to have her appearance changed by the court wizard. “Well, I think we’re good though, so shall we get on the road now? Everyone ready?”
She climbs up onto her horse and nods. Well, she knew some things about riding a horse but she wasn’t exactly trained in riding a horse. No that was something that would come later possibly. ”Oh and something I want to pass by you guys, I know you all know me as Arianna but let’s call me a different name, any ideas? And no referring to me as the princess of Talios. There are some that would recognize me, but in other countries they wouldn’t recognize me,” She stated. “I’m thinking Anna Smith or something like that.”
Arianna approached the group, her horse was a Clydesdale horse, mostly black including mane except near its hooves where there was a white marking above each hoof. The girl looked over everyone and then nodded. “Now we should be going, it’s best if we get this done soon so we can return, have a meal with my father and then head off to the next continent,” She stated. She put her stuff in the cart. All the supplies had been packed up on the carts for them that morning before they arrived, and the horses attached each had a leading rope.
“I foresaw all of you coming, that is why my father trusts you in this quest, at least by face, names wasn’t something that the higher powers allowed me to view. We really should be on the road soon, the sooner we get this done, the sooner we’ll all be dining in the great halls of the palace celebrating a quest well finished,” She stated with a bit of a chuckle.
“I am prepared, I have been sleeping outside in the court yard during all seasons to ensure that I at least know what it is like during every season to sleep outside… Though I do know there are dangers ahead, some what I may not be able to fathom, I will try my best to assist as best as I can,” The princess replied to Mileana, though she knew not of what it would be like to travel on the road, she had only traveled twice in her life and it was at the full guard of the camp so she never had to worry about dangers at night. She then looked to Zulan and his question, a bright smile forming on her face. “Well, I have practiced healing, so I know that, and my father has had some of the fighters train me with certain weapons, my specialty is the morningstar, though I can use other weapons, I prefer that over anything else,” She said, nodding some. “… I’m by far not as good as any of you five, but I will make sure to hold my own in combat.”
“Uhm, we need to combine them and destroy them in a very specific way, though it needs to be on large crystal first, to dispell what they have caused so far… and then destroying them as one whole crystal… well that will take a lot, but I’m sure the 6 of us can manage,” She stated.
“Well, I am unsure, though I know it is a powerful magic user of the arcane arts, and he has lived a long time, longer than human so I can’t presume what race he is… His goal… is to destroy this world in order to become a god,” Arianna stated. “There are 7 crystals, one on each continent… and each given to a specific dragon in order to corrupt them. The crystal feeds off of the dragon’s life energy in order to change the weather, though as the crystals gain their energy, they will cause more problems, famine will strike each continent… diseases of unknown origin will strike fast and whipe out everyone, and then… the stragglers left behind will suddenly burst into ashes for no reason, leaving these 7 dragons being fed off of until the crystals have gained enough energy to destroy the world. We can’t stop at destroying the crystals as the magic user has the ability to recreate them, though the crystals must be combined and destroyed as one single entity.”
Arianna smiles at Mileana before she points to the red palace looking spot on the map. “This is where we are at right now, and we’ll be traveling from here, up north to this particular area,” She pointed to the middle hump up of the major continent. “This land is ruled by my father, but there are lords who take residence in each town (the castles),” She stated before nodding some. “There is a river that goes through Allensburg and then heads out to the forest… That is where we’ll find the dragon. Though we should stop a few times… it will takes us 10 days to get there,” She stated.
The girl stood up and walked over, holding an ink vial along with an inkpen. She brought a table with her with some effort, a simple wooden one and placed it between the king and the recruits. She looked up at them and smiled weakly nodding to Anchard. “Well, we need to head north, I have a map of Talios on my person, but we need to retrieve a crystal from a baby dragon… It’s a river dragon, but it’s new, this was the last continent to be given a crystal,” She stated before she pulled out her map of Talios and sprawled it out on the table. |
