I can't seem to locate any rules on how an invading army can destroy an open space like a farm or apiary.

I know there's some information on an invading army occupying a hex for a month and the kingdom's Unrest increases if not dealt with, but I can find nothing on an army burning crops while traveling through enemy territory and it's effect on the economy.

If there aren't any rules, I was thinking about 3 days to fully destroy farms and open spaces in a 12 mile hex.

Thoughts?

The idea of buying and selling magical items has been a matter of contention for quite some time in 3.0/3.5 & Pathfinder as it contributes to 'de-mystifying' of magic in general.

The process for buying and/or selling magical items is typically handled quickly by the DM approving what items are available to the players as they peer through the Core and other books. Because of the awkward nature of purchasing magic in this mundane sort of shopping experience, most players and DMs want to just get it over with quickly so they can move on to the more exciting aspects of the game.

I'm considering adding a bit more zing to the magic item buying and selling process for my next campaign by adding interesting 'set-pieces' or locales that the PCs could go to when it comes time for them to do so. Places where PCs could pick up items could be: wizard towers, hedge witch huts, arcane academies, museums, guilds, temples, labs, etc. In fact some places may not even want the PC's coin but rather a service or quest.

I've just began to think on this and would like some help in suggesting other cool places that one could acquire magic items. Also, I'd appreciate any other input on how other DMs handle the buying/selling of magic items.

Thanks

Recently my group went through a harrow deck of many things reading and one of them pulled the mountain man card which increases your size by one step. Originally I thought that the enlarge person spell effects would effectively be made permanent on him, but after doing some flipping I'm not so sure as there are numerous inconsistencies regarding size modifiers to ability scores.

Do I use the Bestiary's table for monster size advancement (+8 Str, -2 Dex, +4 Con, +2 nat armor), or do I use the Giant Form spell, or enlarge person spell.

Where are the definitive size modifications to ability scores located?

There's been some criticism over the way firearms operate in Pathfinder. While touch attacks address some of the aspects of firearms, armor and shields should account for something (maybe DR) against them.

I was wondering with all the rules out there, which in your opinions are the best and why?

Can you use Aid Another with Combat Maneuvers? I know that it works with grapple, but I am unclear if it works with any others.

My thought is that they can work in conjunction. For example, I can see a group of kobolds swarming an adventurer and many of them using Aid Another to distract their opponent while one uses the Dirty Trick maneuver.

Any ideas?

A player of mine is planning to play a Dragonfire Adept in Kingmaker and I was wondering if there are any decent conversions floating about?

If not, any suggestions? I was thinking of lowering hp's to d6 (to match poor BAB) but giving bonus feats to compensate.

I couldn't find the starting wealth for the advanced playtest classes, the Alchemist in particular. Where are these located?

Where's Karzoug's +4 shield bonus coming from? I don't see an active shield spell in his prepared list.

Can a creature with scent pinpoint a spellcaster with mirror image in effect? It can pinpoint invisible targets, but then again it can only learn which 5 foot square the opponent is in.

My player used the Arcane Fusion spell from Complete Mage, casting both dimension door and magic missile against a dragon that he could not see initially around the corner. As it states that the spells are cast at the same time, could he "target" the dragon with the magic missile portion of the spell?

For the life of me can someone tell me where to find info on whether or not devils need to rest (I know they don't need to sleep). Can they travel indefinitely without fatigue?. I have a player whose Chelaxian sorcerer wishes to send off his imp familiar hundreds of miles ahead of retreating giants, but I told him that his little imp does require rest. He claims that his familiar could travel 24 hours straight because he doesn't need sleep. I think that with a Con score devils still suffer from fatigue.

Also, while on the topic. Under the empathic link section of the SRD it states that a sorcerer can teleport to an area seen by his familiar just as if they'd seen it first hand. My understanding of this would assumenthat this ability is still restricted to the 1 mile range of empathic link. My player further thinks that he could teleport to any area the familiar has seen before even in his past.

Thoughts?

I couldn't find how many stone giants comprise the Kavarvatti Clan in the Fortress of the Stone giants adventure, does anyone know?

In our last meeting I just finished DMing the raid and now that my players are heqading to Jorgenfist I wanted to set the tone as they first glipse the massive army from the valley lookout. What I'm looking for is a "deep-basey" type of music. Some that I've considered playing during gameplay are Berlioz' Symphony Fanastique, LotR soundtrack, perhaps the score from Dragonslayer. Any other suggestions would be great, thanks.

I just wanted to herald the team at Paizo for producing one of most fun adventure paths out there. I've been playing D&D and other RPGs since the early 80's and have ran many campaigns, but RotRLs has become an instant classic. You've created some original scenarios and given a breath of fresh air to a great system. We've just started The Hook Mountain Massacre and the Graul Farm has left quite the impression on them. Keep up the great work!

Technology questions. Do any sort of firearms or gunpowder exist in Golarian? If so, how common are they and how available is gunpowder? Is it used during war? Are there cannons and bombards? Is gunpowder a quasi-magical substance in Golarian?

Thanks in advance.

Any more details out there on Golarian's elves? Perhaps in some of the Game Mastery products. There seems to be scant info on them and one of my players wants to know more about them. Is there a thread with compiled elf info?

For those who've subscribed to many of Paizo's Game Mastery line, are there any additional details regarding the Elves of Golarian? One of my players wants to play an elf and I want to supply him with as much as possible, but there's scant info out there. I know someday there'll be some detail on the race, but I don't want guess and stray too far from the material.

Is there a thread where all the known info on Golarian's elves is compiled?

With Christmas just behind us, and Paizo probably still playing catch-up, I was wondering when Pathfinder issue #4 would be available to me on pdf as I've already received the print issue (BTW, awesome card!)?

I've never posted anything before but feel compelled to praise Paizo on their customer service and quality of product. There are very few companies today that directly and efficiently deal with customers on a one-to-one basis. I'm also impressed when I read (on the messageboards) the game developers being so forthright and down to earth when it comes to explaining the choices they made for the Pathfinder and Game Mastery adventures. High grades all accross the boards, and on more of a personal note; I hope that Paizo sticks with the 3.5e rules for just a while longer as I felt the switch to 4e was made too quick.

- Sincerely, one satisfied customer.
