Racial Traits
Emotionless: Ikaiji have a hard time relating to others and interpreting emotions. Thus they take a -2 penalty on Diplomacy and Sense Motive checks.
Magic Resistant: Ikaiji get a +2 racial saving throw bonus against spells or spell-like effects. 
Mystsense (Ex): Ikaiji have the ability to seethe Myst, including the living auras of all creatures, manifesting itself as a hazy golden glow. An ikaiji with Mystsight gains a +4 bonus on Perception checks to detect hidden creatures, and the miss chance due to concealment for creatures affected by invisibility, displacement (but not blink or etherealness), and similar effects is halved. Furthermore, the ikaiji with Mystsight has the ability to constantly detect magic at will.

Profile:

Golden blonde, very long hair swirls around a frowning face. Lidded gold eyes gaze off into the distance, appearing to pierce through those around her.  Freckles are spread graciously across her caramel colored cheeks and nose.
 
She wears a set of leather armor with a hood and faceguard with two pointed holes leaving her head and eyes minimally exposed. A blue and green dyed mane rests on the small pointed shoulders where also a lion shaped stud reveals the armors Andaran origin. Beneath the leather armor is what looks to be a time worn, ruined dress that leaves the top of her shoulder uncovered, but covers the sides and flows down into a simple Queen Anne neckline. The dress is loose fit giving it a relaxed yet graceful appearance except for the tight waist where what remains of a bow has been wrapped around and positioned slightly to one side. Below the waist the dress widens slightly before reaching, in tatters, all the way to her feet.
 
There's something inexplicable about her, perhaps it's her unfortunate past, perhaps it's simply a feeling of anguish, or maybe it the mere existence of her dark sense of humor which is unheard of among the Mystborn. She's sly, and cautious but this is all just a facade, a mechanism to deal with her shocking past. Aralu grew up in a poor family in a poor city where she lived free of trouble for a time. However, when she was 15 she accidentally maimed an Andaran Lion during a brutal siege and was banished by her people. So she took her new and present name and alongside a cousin she had to survive out in the unforgiving wilderness, but the hardships of living off the land were too much for her cousin. In a moment of desperation her cousin attacked Aralu over some food and Aralu was forced to kill her.
 
Today Aralu works as a mercenary for the Andaran Lions, usually hunting down deserters or anyone with a bounty on their heads that happens to be around. Occasionally tracking down a deserter takes her on long and troublesome journeys but eventually she usually makes her way back to Olscar, where one of the largest garrisons in Andaran exists. The proximity to the eastern border seems to drum up enough business to make a suitable living. Her most recent bounty landed Aralu in the port town of Kelderhaag, where she turned over proof of her completed task and in the course of normal conversation she offered her sword to the service of Lambrecht to defend a caravan travelling to Palanost; the route promises pay on the way back to Olscar and bladedancers are rarely outmatched should battle befall them.
