Born into a relatively wealthy upper class family of slavers in Sedeq, Saldimeh had an easy childhood. Though privileged, Saldimeh was always uncomfortable with his fathers business, even from an early age. As soon as it was possible, Saldimeh took it upon himself to extricate himself from Sedeq to receive an education by the some of the best scholars in Qadira. Saldimeh excelled in his studies, and decided to apply his strong intellect to the study of medicine and the healing arts. Such pursuits inevitably lead him to worship the Dawnflower, whose healers were among the best in Golarion.
Returning home after his education and training, Saldimeh immediately came into conflict with his father. Entirely opposed to the slave trade, Saldimeh made it known to his father that he wanted the family out of the slave trade business, but such requests were always rebuffed. Unhappy living under the same roof with his father, Saldimeh rejoined the Dervish Order of Warpriests in Sedeq, and trained in the art of war while continuing his study of the healing arts.
Unsure of his calling in life, Saldimeh eventually left Sedeq after his formal training was complete, ready to preach the word of the Dawnflower, heal the sick and tired, and bring justice by the sword if necessary. His travels eventually brought him to Magnimar, where he presently resides.
