Seeing Karina get snatched up Anuum tries what he can while still in the beasts mind to free the woman. "Get that last disc or help kill this thing!"

If these discs are the same you can only carry one at a time.

Anuum cringes as the Snake-like creature lashes out and grabs Kel. The crytals pulses with a single white light as the tail loosens a small bit.

Liberating Command on Kel if he was indeed Grappled.

Looking at the snake-like creature Anuum digs further into it's mind, planting small seeds of doubt and fear within.

Cast Aversion on the Snake-like creature with the aversion being one of the discs placed in the wall. DC 17 Will save.

The damage to Jane's mind causes her to hunch over in immense pain as her hands reach up to her head. She screams a blood curdling scream as her mind fractures more.

As she rises up her features seem different. More angered even. The rage in her eyes turns to another scream as she unleashes an even more powerful force of psychic energy into the Snake. Enter dark Half and use Oviod Compression Elongated Cranium Feat

Jane tries to determine the amount of time before the door crumbles, letting the rest of the group know the determination.

Using the time Anuum tries to time unlocking his mental gates accordingly.

"Find those discs?" He calls out to Karina. "I will slow the beast."

Anuum searches the snake's mind and begins to close and slow it's synapses within it's mind as Anuum backs into the corner.

So we found 2 disks so far. We know one has a darkness effect. The second has a light effect. The discs have an enchantment so as no one person can hold two discs. Just have to figure out the riddle to them. I will go through this evening and see if I can figure it out. I am betting it has something to do with the cyclopean pictures we have been seeing.

Anuum grabs ahold of the heavy flail. It feels a bit awkward in his hands at first, but in his mind Anuum can feel the power force try and work it's way in.

His mind pushes back with force. "There is only room for one in here Slitherbane. I have been around for eons. You stand no chance against a force such as mine." Anuum holds the flail up. "Succumb to my will and you shall see battle once again."

"Kel- Grab ahold of the remaining disk. Let us deal with this monolith. Any of you have any ideas?"

Annum's body shudders as the stone cracks free, relieving him of his potential prison. The crystal flares with anger, with a slight bit of panic.

Anuum is a stone statue.

Thinking back a bit more he observes. "Be careful Karina. These creatures are normally the pets of a Medusa itself. I would leave that woman be as she is and avert your eyes from her."

He grabs the mask from the dust to inspect it further as his mind thinks. He tosses the mask to Karina. "You should use this. If you are struck blind or turned to stone then I can't stand a chance with this frail and wispy body."

Anuum follows Karina through the door. "I do not speak the tongue as I always found the race to be rather....slow and dimwitted."

Looking around he notices Karina sipping the water. "You are correct. I have been needing to replenish this vessel with water for some time now." Not caring much for the waters safety Anuum plunges the slyph's head in and takes large gulps of water. He rises up as water trickles down his hair and face.

Seeing an open corridor nearby Anuum peeks inside.

The crystal glows with a continuous soft white hue as one of the gates within the Slyph's tormented mind open and four pure missiles of mental force pour forth from Anuum's head.     The doors slide open as a pale man enters with loose robes that seem to float about him with wispy tendrils. In his hand he holds a small glowing crystal that pulses with a dark energy and unearthly presence.

    One by one he looks to each of his companions. Slowly probing their minds so that they will not notice.

    The small crystal glows darker as the man seems to be fighting and trying to resist something from within, though to no avail. His face crunches in obvious displeasure as whatever was taking place seems to be punishing him.

    Regaining control Annum speaks once more. "Why have I been pulled away from seeking out the perfect vessel?"
